Will be held in 4 round (2 MN, 3MN, 2MN and 3MN, total: 10 MN). the starting price in the new round = the maximum in the previous. Auction will be held in a special discord-channel in which we will publish tomorrow. I know that MN rewards aren't active until block 8064, but why did my MN receive a reward over night for 5 MUN?
Someone is testing the payouts for MNs, running on a private pool the payouts for MN (this is acceptable). After 8064 all pools mandatory will pay awards to MNs. |

After 4 Jan we pay listing and all will depend on the speed of administration cryptopia Everyone uses cryptopia, but it is such an expensive exchange for what it offers! Something like 5 bitcoin for a listing! Is there any scope to reduce this cost or negotiate with the cryptopia exchange owners for a lower cost? Or is it a case of them being so well known, that they can charge whatever they like. Now listing price = 7.5BTC (5kk DOT at @150sat).. I don't use twitter - will the airdrop require twitter posting/following or are the airdrop details still being considered?
Also perhaps the amount of muncoin you provide in the airdrop should depend on what the going rate is for muncoin. That is, you could wait until after a larger exchange listing like cryptopia before following through with an airdrop.

Happy holidays to all of you! Next year there is a lot of work ahead of us starting with listing MUN on several large exchanges. The first stepping stones will be Yobit and Cryptopia, which cost a lot. After that we would like to add a few more second tier exchanges and eventually list on one from the top tier list, which however are unaffordable at the moment. We are currently collecting application info from multiple exchanges and will need to decide which ones to pick, asking for community opinion in the process. In order to fund the next listing fees and also to satisfy several dozen (!) requests for node sales we received in private messages complaining it is impossible to buy enough coins via exchange we decided to auction a limited number of nodes on January 4th at or above the market price so that it would not negatively affect the exchange rates. Also our devs want to see more nodes on the network for its better stability. Therefore we will be happy to see all auction participants on January 4th in our Discord channel. The exact time is still to be determined and will be published in all media outlets. |

Curious how many developers there are for muncoin.
Also, any other plans. Clearly there is a focus on gpu mining and building on that community, but what other plans are there to take it further than that.
There are 5 core members who are the founders of the project including two developers, one marketer, one designer and one financial advisor who is going to facilitate debit card integration via his links to the banking sector. There are also several full time and several part time people on staff as contractors, for a grand total of 15 at the moment. Our roadmap is fully fleshed out only for phases 1 and 2. We are confident we can get listed on a few large exchanges and build supporting apps and services, which is fairly trivial, but are still evaluating the best course long term. This is our first time experience with launching a cryptocurrency as a team and we prefer to tread carefully and favor inaction over action when there is any doubt so that not to make any mistakes that cannot be easily rectified. We are pleasantly surprised by the community support so far and will be grateful for any ideas shared by its members, which will be given a consideration and a chance to be integrated into our plans. Honest, humble and promising. Things that we don't see unfortunatly so often in crypto space nowdays. Tired of all coins promising the moon.
