123  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will prices go back up to 750-800? on: February 28, 2014, 08:29:11 PM
Right now we are waiting on a update of the GOX QUESTION!

But we will be floating around 450-550 for a while, we might see a solid 380-420 in the next few months.

Everything varies on this whole GOX mess. Normally it wouldn't matter, but its almost on every media outlet.

The GOX mess has been bringing the price down since $800...we need to let it go. Gox is a drain on Bitcoin.

Yeah, the old good days, a solid 850+  Cry  -- But remember that now Bitcoin is in the public view, allot of people bought when it was high and most users used Gox as their wallet most likely so the media is focusing in it.

Every news out they are talking and saying Bitcoin is/was a Ponzi Scheme. Even in the local news.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: why is btc crashing AGAIN? on: February 28, 2014, 08:21:53 PM
The reason is crashing, its because  they were waiting on news from Gox and being that we haven't received them, means that most likely the Insolvent rumors are correct.

Which this means that people trust on Bitcoin will diminish more.

Allot of user thought that Gox will come back, but been days.

126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now at $600 and will never go under this price again on: February 28, 2014, 08:40:11 AM
Right now, we are playing the  waiting,  until we have a valid confirmation of the Gox Question.

Until then, it will be from 450-550.  If gox comes back up, we might see 800+ within a month or two.  IF IT Doesn't, then flat 450 maybe to 380.00

As someone who just deposited $2000 into an exchange, I'm trying to figure out what price I should buy Bitcoins at.  This fluctuation in price makes me nervous. Obviously I'm in this for the long haul, but buying at say $300 or up to $600 to $800 would have huge ramifications down the road if Bitcoin hits big numbers.

The more I read, the bigger my headache and indecision gets, LOL!

Do I wait or do I buy now? Well, in a few days when my money hits the exchange.

550 Its a good medium,  But right now the market is waiting to hear any real news from Gox.

We wont go under 450, if don't get news from them.

129  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 1.5 GOX BTC on: February 28, 2014, 06:45:25 AM
Its toooo late already.

Normally, you would of have login to your account and just transfer it to another Gox Account, and was completed. But NOW you cant. Its gone.

You can't at the moment - who knows what twists (if any) await Gox customers going forward.
Too much of a gamble and/or price too high for that risk currently.

Yes, your are right, BUT if they come back, do you think the seller will want anything cheaper than what is worth?

He is selling them now, because their is a 50% chance that he lost all of it.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best way to trade bitcoin for usd on: February 28, 2014, 06:37:04 AM
sounds like a scam.

don't use paypal for receiving money.

even if someone seems trustworthy, they have up to a year to take back their paypal "money". you don't know if their morals or circumstances can change during that time. they might get desperate.

PayPal them self, wont protect the Buyer on Digital Items.

THATS the reason allot of Scammers are selling Bitcoin via PayPal, because they know PayPal will not protect the buyers at all.

Those who used a Credit Card via PayPal, then they have the option to do a Chargeback via their Credit Card Companies.

Read this, its a personal experience being scam by a Seller selling Bitcoin.

If he solves the mess by finding an investor nothing will happen. If not he'll be arrested.

+1 he needs to have the books in good standing
