So is this sending megacoins to the wrong wallet a Megadice bug or a Megacoin client bug?
I am not sure.. At this stage I think it's either human error or megadice issue, but waiting for the owner so he can review what happened before we move onto thinking this is an issue with the client. |

If he sent the coins directly too megadice from his cryptsy account it may have caused it.
In either case why would the payout go back to me? It looks like he sent directly from his megacoin client as per screenshots. |

Physical coin being just another way to hoard some MEC, it is open to some disadvantages, lost, breakdown, destroyed etc. but so is escrow/wallet/brainfart.
MEC supporters wanting a way to show support as usual (shirts, hoodies, hats, jackets, physical coin).
Naysayers coming in to kick the hornets nest and piss from the sidelines, nothing different unfortunately.

Response from mcxNOW about adding MEC is that they are not interested in any more "Bitcoin clones" unless it is top 5 market cap. So, that's our goal people.  You will see a lot of exchanges say "We are not interested, but for a donation we can..." and then hold out their hands. Fucking exchanges, man. |

But seriously though, when is MEC going to be listed on another popular exchange? I can't believe it has been looked over by so many other exchanges.
Don't get me wrong, I love Cryptsy, but the lag recently has been unbearable and I think it's hurting the growth of some stellar coins like MEC.

You need to actively contact these Exchanges and ask. I know bholzer and I have been in contact with a few exchange devs discussing implementing MEC, but the more interest that is shown, the better our chances. https://vircurex.com/ have expressed interest and are looking into megacoin, but if you have a spare moment, why not drop them a query about it, or discuss the advantages of megacoin, as the dev will only implement coins he can distinguish against copy cats. Just start querying vendors and exchanges, planting that seed in their mind, when MEC rolls out a few more services, the exchanges and vendors will have already start taking notice. P.S. I would love some winter wear but can only wear it 2 months out of the year, would love a Shirt option if possible. |

I think you're failing to realize Hazard has an agenda here...and allowing Megacoin in as a sponsor would conflict with that agenda. I'm just assuming he wouldn't even be interested...but even if he was, it's not likely to benefit the Megacoin community/network much (beyond the ironic humor it would provide.) We need services, we need to get exchanges other than Cryptsy listing Megacoin (Cryptsy simply cannot handle the required volume) -- if we start building things out, Megacoin will grow organically.
From what I've seen, ethought has done more for Megacoin than anybody else at this point.
Wasn't trying to make this a pissing contest, putting an ad up would simply give me a little entertainment, and if I have the resources (which would ultimately go to booze + black market) why not? I didn't actually want to do it, I questioned Hazard just to see him say "Nope, no megacoin ads!" and have it on record, like you said, but he doesn't care anymore as his agenda seems now to kick a few hornets nests and watch the buzz, which is working. I agree more services and exchanges are required and hopefully some of us, like yourself, have some projects in the works which are taking shape nicely.
Sounds like a waste of resources. Too bad Cryptolife has no credibility, but some people are gluttons for punishment. I was talking to VR4mines this morning, and we are thinking about making some bumper stickers. Something like "Got Megacoin?" with the URL under it. There will also be a web advertising campaign to coincide with the launch of the new store.
I was actually in the process of contacting 3rd party for this on a bit of a larger scale, but if you think it could be done without a middle man, even just a test batch, we should get this ball rolling. Let me know, either way will probably do a test run at the end of the week just for myself. |

Could you imagine making baseless accusations and false claims for nearly 5 months trying to damage the reputation of something with nothing to gain from it? If he would have just shut the hell up and started mining/buying Megacoin and contributing to the community positively he'd be well on his way to becoming a Megacoin millionaire (he was obviously around early.) At the very least, you'd think he'd just move on.
The guy bleeds negative energy and only knows how to tear down -- he lacks the ability to create or innovate so this is all he has left. Negative energy people always end up depressed and poor in the end (millions of examples) -- guess I'll take solace in that. Also, anybody with actual knowledge on the topics he posts about likely visit his blog for nothing more than a good laugh.
Well said, however look at the message history of bholzer, and see how much "negative energy" this guy made towards many altcoins, "trying to damage the reputation of something with nothing to gain from it". See how this asshole did them and it is absolutely ridiculous now that such a person starts to accuse others with these arguments. What a joke it is. The difference being constructive criticism as opposed to "THIS IS A WALLET STEALER DO NOT DOWNLOAD" from day 1. |
