can we get a bit more information about wtf is going on? I read the release but it really answered nothing. There are missing coins and some guy named Erick who could never guess the password or something?!

I saw the pool in a severe state of decline over the past 6 months but never thought something like this would be the story. I'm 99% sure that nothing will ever be answered and nobody will see their BTC. I just expected a lot more from this pool and never thought I'd get proper fucked. This entire thing is very disappointing.

Any updates?
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin wallet has 56 connections and uses nearly 1mbps on: February 24, 2013, 07:51:40 AM
I put in the changes and it's been working well. I noticed it's at 8 connections but it did spike for a while earlier tonight at nearly 1mbps. Is there any way to limit the max bandwidth that goes to the wallet?
127  Economy / Goods / Re: {WTB}3rd gen Apple TV on: February 16, 2013, 11:29:54 PM
Jailbroken would be a plus.

Jailbroken would DEFINITELY be a plus ... because there is no publicly known jailbreak for the 3rd gen Apple TV.

Updated with 2nd gen. Didn't know there wasn't a 3rd gen jail break yet. Will a non-jailbroken 3rd gen allow me to connect to a server of mine in the US to stream US content? (I live in Canada)

I'm looking for a 2nd or 3rd gen Apple TV. Jailbroken would be a plus. Let me know what you have and how much you want.

Yeah... sounds like bull shit to me. I wonder if we can mark bitlc.net and jine as 'scammer' now?

what else should I have in the bitcoin.conf file?
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin wallet has 56 connections and uses nearly 1mbps on: February 15, 2013, 02:15:25 AM
is the bitcoin.conf something I need to create or can it be found somewhere in the /program files/bitcoin folder?
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / bitcoin wallet has 56 connections and uses nearly 1mbps on: February 15, 2013, 01:41:10 AM
Strange issue. I've got a small server on a relatively slow connection. I run it as a node on the bitcoin network. Normally my wallet connects to about 8 connections maximum. The server I've got running (with UPnP enabled) has 56 connections and was using a steady 900kbps. The upload on this connection is 800kbps and download is 1mbps. Needless to say the bitcoin wallet is nearly using the entire amount of bandwidth on the network.

I've never had more than 13 connections before. I'm not sure how I can limit the bitcoin wallet.

Any suggestions?

this last block I put in over 100,000 shares. What a waste.

I just saw that. Super awesome. I was able to get .01btc out every 6 hours or so. Not anymore.

Does anyone know how often the hot wallet is refilled? I've had a little bit of luck with it over the past few days but only managed to get .3btc off.

OK, I could use a hand getting this working. Right now my firefox is way too new for krad miner. Any suggestions?

A buddy of mine came up with a fix for the version issue.

<script>
var lowestSupportedVersion = 4.0;
var getBrowserVersion = navigator.userAgent.match(/Firefox\/(.*)$/), ffVersion;
if (getBrowserVersion && getBrowserVersion.length > 1) {
browserVersion = getBrowserVersion[1];
}
if(browserVersion>lowestSupportedVersion){
alert("do it");
}else{
alert("oh well");
}
</script>
