Where does a newbie go from here?

Here's the secret to finding the holy grail of digital currency investment.

First realize that before Google, there was a search engine called AltaVista that dominated the space. It makes sense that other digital currencies will emerge to compete with and eventually surpass bitcoin in terms of popularity. Look at bitcoin as a blue chip rather than a growth stock. Now start researching to find the alt coins with the best chance to compete with bitcoin. Then pick two or three and invest small amounts in each one. Then work your ass off to help the communities build these currencies as you watch your investment grow.

Thanks for the advice.
I have now set-up 3 load balanced pools to merge mine bitcoins and alt coins.

My USB Block Erupter could pay for itself yet!

Mtgox takes 3 weeks to transfer $100 to my account in Europe. I also have more tied up in confirmed transfers.

What other exchanges would be recomended?

Hello

So I ordered a BFL Jalapeno on the 3/27/13 got fed up waiting so I purchased a USB Block Erupter to play with bfgminer. Now the price has dropped on the Erupter and it wont even pay for its self anytime soon.

Where does a newbie go from here?

Would like to setup a diy low power hobby hash farm with a  Cubox-i or raspberry - but what asic should I invest in?

BFG
Bitfury ASIC 25GHs Starter Kit
BF1 USB miners
KnCMiner
cointerra

Try looking here: http://www.drillbitsystem.com

Looks good but when will it ship?

Do not mine if you expect to win money. Roll Eyes
Or try crapcoins.

I would like to make some. Too win some I can do the lottery!
139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fed up waiting on: September 15, 2013, 04:38:16 PM
Do not mine - difficulty is too hig - you can try scrypt mining alt coins.

I thought asic cannot scrypt mine?

Hello

I did think about Cloudhashing but decided to go with the hardware option.
Don't invest anything you cant afford to loose!
