122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Buterin presented scaling solution that will prevent hack on: March 11, 2018, 05:12:33 AM
Recently Binance been hacked and lost almost 20 Billion Dollar worth of crypto just an overnight.

Buterin had a proposal that uses scaling that will prevent hacking on exchange.
https://concisetuts.pro/ethereum-founder-presented-a-scaling-solution-that-will-prevent-hack/

Hope this will succeed to revolutionize the exchange and the blockchain as a whole.
What is your thought on this?
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: March 11, 2018, 04:59:22 AM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.

Not all reds are profitable. Profit will depend on the coin/token do you buying. The best way to buy a coin/token is by studying their graph history and behavior whether it is red or green this will guide and ensure you a profit.
For example if you bought BTC 2 years ago at green then the profit today is so huge.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monthly income and Bank account statement for a KYC on: March 10, 2018, 09:36:21 AM
I never apply those ICO, bounty or airdrops where they ask for my personal confidential details.

Some  of the ICO ask KYC to make it sure that you are not spamming their their airdrops/bounty etc. But asking you bank statement and source of income is to much.
I won't join if those things were ask. Actually if you ask somebody their banks statements and income is kinda offensive.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: March 10, 2018, 07:20:12 AM
Holding a btc or an assets is not greediness.  It is your business strategy to gain more. Investors never invest if they will just gain penny.
Greediness is only happened if you deny someone of what is rightfully is belong to them.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be fine on: March 10, 2018, 05:54:47 AM
BTC still fine. The price of BTC compare 2 year ago still huge.  Nothing to worry about it, there's always and ups and down in the market.
Ups and down where the traders can gain and keep the market cycle.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why many altcoin is important on: March 10, 2018, 05:26:04 AM
Many people asking why there are a lot of altcoins, and they suggest limits the altcoin making should be done.

The reasons why I don't agree to limits the altcoin aside from the reason of decentralization.

Here are the few;
1.   The monopoly of market will be avoided.
2.   There is a competition of prices in the market  that can limit the price of the stellar cryptocurrency to overshoot.
3.   Altcoins can cause unpredictable fluctuation of prices in the market. Fluctuation of prices result revenue for the traders/investors.
4.   New and small investors/traders will be given a chance to trade in the market.
5.   There is a healthy circulation of money in the market because hoarding/holding will be prevented.
6.   Exchange site/market can gain also a suitable amount.
7.     Bounty campaign will be continued to progress.

thanks for useful topic.  many altcoin, many member , many ico is important for enlarging market.

You're welcome dude.  We should always treat a new token/coin as an opportunity rather than branding them as shitcoins/tokens.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain kill traditional banking? on: March 10, 2018, 05:20:13 AM
A bunch of blockchain tech founders debate the question here: https://bitnewstoday.com/opinion/will-blockchain-kill-banks-or-financial-sector-can-use-this-technology-to-improve-its-efficiency/

James Song, founder of exsulcoin , is featured too. He's showing up everywhere these days.

Blockchain would not kill traditional banking but it will enhance it.  IBM already proposed to use blockchain to enhance their system.
New technology should not be considered to kill or destroy the traditional but it will enhance rather.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cheat or not ? on: March 10, 2018, 05:17:00 AM
im newbie.. i know  some person make 1k 2k $  used cheat.. Undecided cant go this way or not ?

Cheats, majority is not always good but in all aspect of life there is always an insanity. Lies and cheats  cannot be avoided.  Cheating will only depend on your conviction. If you are convicted not to do it then don't do it you will end up torturing your inner being.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: March 08, 2018, 11:23:52 AM
Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires. Cheesy
Thx for bounties! Good jewelry.

As long you have a good token/coin holding it for a certain period of time is really a good a idea. Definitely price will hike.  Nothing to loss of holding a token/coin.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: March 08, 2018, 10:34:29 AM
Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?

If you talk about earning without considering the amount airdrop is  the easiest. But in airdrop you can get only a few token unlike the bounty you are paid enough according to your effort but it will take time.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US State Georgia next in line to accept cryptocurrency for taxes on: March 08, 2018, 10:23:10 AM
At the end of the day, the adoption of cryptocurrencies will continue to increase day by day. The new always beat the old one. Conservative behavior and protective measures against development have never prevented innovations for a long time.

There are many Countries already open for cryptocurrency. Japan and Philippines are one of the example they welcome the cryptocurrency though not yet in the law.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: March 05, 2018, 06:42:38 AM
Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation.

I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible).

So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world.

This is not an advice. It's simply a shared idea.

How about you? What do you have in mind? Undecided

It's okay to be regulated than ban. Government have all the rights to regulate the flow of currency in their territory to preserve the economy for the benefit of it's citizen.

Besides, the regulation that  I read mostly in news are the mode of payment (tax, etc) but the system it self still the same.

If SEC halted several ICOs it will give favor for the existing coins/tokens. The price will hike.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ripple (XRP) ever go back to $3 again? Can it recover? on: March 05, 2018, 06:09:22 AM
Ripple is still 3rd most popular currencies in the world of crypto after Bitcoin and  Ethereum. MIT recognized Ripple Labs as one of 2014's 50 Smartest Companies for its creation of the Ripple protocol (RTXP) and the Ripple payment network. It was creating so much fuzz that people speculated it might takeover Bitcoin during this time Ripple hit its peak $3.65 and reached to No.2 above Ethereum.

But then... crash... crypto crashed and as of today Ripple stands at:
XRP = $0.92 USD (coin market)

It has dropped -75% from its peak value of $3.65

It's ok whole market was down but they recovered at least some level like Bitcoin from peak of $20k to $6k and now at $9.5k (-50%). Same to all currencies famous crypto currencies but Ripple did not come close to its original position since than.

Here is $36 billion dollar question will Ripple will go back 3$ again?

Ripple has been in the news with so catchy titles like

"Western Union Confirms Plans to Experiment With Ripple"
"Ripple extends partnerships to India, Singapore"
"Saudi Central Bank to Test Ripple Payments Tech"
"Cuallet’s Money Transfer Service Integrates Ripple’s xRapid"

Also its over heard "Starbucks Will Accept Ripple (XRP) in 2018" but to be honest I guess none is helping Ripple to recover to its previous state.

Reasons it has been criticized for not being truly decentralized also, Ripple distribution of the original limited amount of XRP currency has met with a fair amount of controversy too.

We can't predict the future but Ripple team is working hard to get partnerships with Banks and with exchanges which might result Ripple as another fiat money dressed up like crypto. (That's my opinion)

What you guys think of Ripple (XRP) does it have potential to shape the crypto world? Or will be merely another crypto currency?
Can Ripple go back to $3+ again?

It is possible the ripple will reach to price again. There are lots of entities (banks, governments)  using ripple net. Though there is no direct involvement in XRP but still can promote the ripple (XRP) in the market.

135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be AWARE. Mobile payment is coming our way. on: March 05, 2018, 06:04:38 AM
I watched a video earlier about Chinese people using mobile payment. I don't know if it was a practice years ago, but that news has caused me so much thinking.

Do you like the idea of paying using your mobile phone? What if it is Bitcoin? Can you track your daily expenses with the price changing every minute? Do you think this will be a good idea to give your child his/her allowance? What if the price went down fast in a sec? Will you use it while in a down price or will you choose to forget about buying your stuff instead of making a transaction with your funds in a low market price?

Are you prepared for this? Because the future has so much to offer. We should be more aware and ready.

Phone now a days is a computer in you palm using your phone to pay something there no issue as long you're using a legit medium.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monthly income and Bank account statement for a KYC on: March 04, 2018, 03:12:44 PM
Just recently I saw an ICO that asking a monthly income and bank account statement for a KYC. It's said on their KYC form that it is important for them to know the financial capacity of their token holders or buyers.
What can you say about this requirements?
Somebody here did it before?

Giving information to an ICO KYC is normal but asking like this that they need your financial capacity and bank statement is too much.  It could be they want to make it sure that you are financially stable just in case the token fails or they don't want to engage in an illegal source of money.

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: March 04, 2018, 09:42:10 AM
Hello everyone!

Today I've read a couple of articles and I've noticed that the most people are used to label each ICO as a scam. That is not fair, I know. Especially when you work in a startup launching ICO and do your best to make a project successful. However, having worked in ICO industry I learned how to recognize a scam just from one conversation with a Founder. I don't know how to explain this feeling. Probably, my subconscious translates knowledge, but I could not say a have a large experience.

So I decided to make a list of scam signs: (and this is just my own opinion)

- A founder and a team are not open.

Talking with a founder is always nice. They are usually full of energy and ready to talk about their project for hours. No matter how tired he/she is: when one is asking about a project, a founder starts talking about it with eyes burn with a fire. No matter who you are. When a founder deflects, tries to escape and avoids it makes you think that he/she just can't tell you anything important. What is more, it is crucial talking to a team. When a team member doesn't know how to answer a simple question about a product, it is also a bad sign.

In case of the lack of opportunity to visit an event and to talk to a team, you always can contact a founder and a team online. They should be open and answer patiently all your difficult questions. Even if you ask it every minute.

- Spending a lot of money on marketing isn't always show professionalism.

Just think. A company needs ICO to raise money for a company development. Isn't it a little bit queerly when an unknown company is too fancy. How? And Why? Why do they need ICO if they already have money on expensive advertisement? I don't know too  Huh

- You know nothing about a founder. And you cant find any information about him/her.

Always google the founder. Always. And now I'm not talking about his/her FB page. I'm talking about his experience, education, photos, events he took part in. A founder should not be a mysterious person who came from nowhere. His background should be open to everyone.

- They don't have a readymade product.

Let's make a sober recognition. The competition is high. In the end of 2017 - the beginning of 2018 you just can't appear with an idea and ask for money. You need to develop your product before ICO. It should not be an amazing one. It could be just prototype. But investors need something real. They need to touch and try your product. However, just 16% of all ICO has a product.

And what do you think about it? What are your signs of a scam?

Thank you for this information dude! It really help. Because if we fall to a scam ICO it will not only suck our money but Time, Effort, emotion as well. And those three cannot cannot be back.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: March 04, 2018, 07:45:36 AM
I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

I think it's difficult to identify the fake one unless the KYC asking about 3 identifications in minimum and also a bank statement. There's always a risk in both side. Fake KYC could frozen your account and True KYC could stolen your identity.  How to avoid it? it's all up to your judgments.
139  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT SYSTEM PROBLEM on: March 04, 2018, 05:35:00 AM
One month is enough to conclude for a case study.  I don't think so admin here doesn't know what's going on in the forum as the Merit System implemented. I believe they are already in the process of improving it.

All of the Systems have always a loophole and prone for abuses. Good thing is that those abuses are already came to light.
