121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: June 27, 2023, 02:55:15 AM
Currently volume is an indicator by which a trader can understand whether it is good or bad to trade here. Before investing, the market should be thoroughly scrutinized. fixing the right time to invest depends on different factors, including financial goals, risk tolerance and market situation. It is difficult to say when is the best time to invest because no one can predict. Adopting a long term technique in investing and trying to time the market perfectly is a challenge. Moreover, investing in short term also has the possibility of losing wealth. So I definitely think it is important to get guidance from a financial advisor before investing.
I don't think that one needs a financial advisor to make a cryptocurrency investment unless the amount they are willing to use is very huge because if that is not the case, one can easily learn how they can evaluate different situations and act accordingly, reading charts using different indicators can help someone predict the next price moves which might not always be accurate but it is most of the times which can be helpful when choosing a point for buying.

One of the best and most effective ways of buying Bitcoin for people who are uncertain about their buying price is doing DCA where you keep buying Bitcoin with a portion of your money for every interval the price of Bitcoin has dropped, this way, you will have a very good average buying price.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 26, 2023, 04:46:48 AM
Edson Alvarez wouldn't cost Dortmund much indeed. If he shows a really high level of performance with Dortmund shirt then Dortmund can sell him for a quite profitable amount later on. This is what Dortmund always do with such players in the end. I wonder if they can find a young talent similar to Bellingham again this summer.

Because I'm sure Dortmund scouts are working actively on finding new talents. Their source of income is the sales of this kind of players for huge amounts you know. Otherwise not becoming the Bundesliga champion would have been a much bigger problem for this team.
When Borussia Dortmund bring in a new player and they are still young, they know what potential this player has. Edson Alvarez is predicted to replace the position left by Jude Bellingham, but on the other hand many people say that the position between Jude and Alvarez is not the same. Yes, that's true, but actually Edson Alvarez has the potential to replace the role of Bellingham, who managed to get an agreement with Real Madrid in the transfer market this summer. I see that too, that Edson Alvarez has good potential in that position.
25 years old Mexican is good in midfield and defence which is good for the Dortmund after departure of Jude Bellingham even reports claiming all is settled for this transfer but still we have to wait for the official statement from the both parties Ajax paid for him nearly $16 Millions and now most chances they will be asked for the $50 Millions but nothing is clear as he is very good and aggressive player which can do good for the Dortmund in coming days.

Ajax was the nursery now Edison Alvarez is having right place if he gives good surely he could be achieved good level here in this club and his future could be also bright as we already have too many players from this club which are now having big name around the European clubs.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: June 25, 2023, 01:45:24 PM
You did well and there is a saying that, what works for you might not work  for others and the truth is that all of this incentives you've mentioned and referenced some casinos  are just some promotional and marketing strategies  for this casinos  and as a person, I've always known that the casino is always out there for business and anyone out for business is also out to make profit and wagering upto 43k to be at level 22 isn't an easy task.
What I do personally is use whatever money I have (spare) fund my account and make my bets at that very time, if I loss, I loss and if I win, I win without having to bother myself with some bonuses that to me seems very hard to achieve  since I'm still battling with financial  stability.
These incentives and VIP privileges are definitely not for regular gamblers and only high rollers and gambling whales can get those benefits for being a loyal and returning customer of a casino, a regular gambler might be able to reach maybe the first stage of a VIP program after a few months of gambling as their wagering amount will keep increasing over time, but that is only possible in some casinos and that comes with very minimal rewards and incentives.

So you are totally right that such things are not for everyone, and those who can't achieve these should simply focus on their own activities with whatever money they can afford to spend on it without having to chase targets that are not achievable for them.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: June 25, 2023, 05:52:22 AM
First, I would not compare trading and investing. These are still slightly different concepts both in the essence of the work and in the style of work. In addition, it depends little on who will work. It is more important to pay attention to precisely such details.
Well, maybe trading and investing are different terms with different meanings in general, but if we talk about the cryptocurrency industry, investing is the act of buying a cryptocurrency with your money, and since once you buy, you will also need to sell it if you see you are getting profits, so when you buy and sell an asset, that is called trading, so investment and trading are to be considered the same thing in the cryptocurrency market.

Trading does carry great risks, especially if you are trading a cryptocurrency or any asset that is highly volatile because volatility can go both ways, sometimes it goes towards the positive side but sometimes towards the negative, so one needs to be careful about which cryptocurrency they are trading and how much money they should risk on it.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 24, 2023, 08:52:52 AM
The problem is that PSG always fails to reach the final Champion League even in the last 2 seasons their steps stopped in the last 16 obviously this is not an achievement that can be proud of, so it is normal if PSG is looking for a new manager. When compared to Manchester City clearly the achievements were different because they go to the final 2 times until they finally became champions. Actually when a team like PSG has many star players it will be more difficult to manage it, there are always obstacles related to egoism and other things.
Here most of the time in past few years PSG management try to win Champions League after investing huge funds and having long list of big players now they need to bring changes in their mindset as well because only money can't give them win they also need to have soccer heart as well which will surely helps them for having better results now first time we have too many stars are out of the team new coach is well experienced and understand all conditions which will helps them to win, but main thing is now they need to give him time which is also important this can take two or three years as well because without this it's not possible wins been never came in overnight it's mostly takes time like we have in case of Manchester City hopefully if they will understand this all win will be occurred soon for them in all competitions.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: June 24, 2023, 03:33:48 AM
Investing in different altcoins is a way to diversify your portfolio and reduce risk. Diversification does not guarantee effectiveness in all cases. Choosing the right coin and market to invest in is important. When investing in different types of altcoins, you should carefully learn about the projects, upside potential, possible risks and other factors of each type of altccoin that you are interested in. This will help you make smarter investment decisions. It should be noted that the cryptocurrency market is very volatile and unpredictable, so you need to think carefully before investing any amount and always keep a close eye on the market movements.
Though investing in different cryptocurrencies bring diversification to one's portfolio, I wouldn't recommend buying a lot of different altcoins especially if they are not very old and trusted. If someone is having to sell their Bitcoins to buy altcoins, they should go for the most trusted ones like ETH, LTC, and a few more that are ranked at the top in CryptoMarketCap along with Bitcoin and ETH.

I would personally never sell my Bitcoins only to buy other altcoins because I trust Bitcoin way more and I know that even if I don't have other cryptocurrencies in my portfolio apart from Bitcoin, I will still gain enough profits if the market goes up.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We the Bitcoin Enthusiasts, How can we Safequard our Holdings in Turbulent Times on: June 23, 2023, 03:30:49 PM
The responses that my question have received so far have been all filled with positivism that is coming from a true community of real enthusiasts. Now my horizon have been widen up with a better understanding of the true power of what it really mean to be your own bank, the true power of decentralization. Of course with these fundamentals, BTC can only react to any eventual news of Binance exchange closure but overall, it will not be affected, quite a technology! Hodling my positions, no shorting for any centralized team!!😎

Cheers to the future with you all Bitcoin enthusiasts🥂
I hope you didn't short any coins or tokens in the last few days because that could cause you a lot of money as the market raised up pretty high in the last couple of days which wasn't even expected. And you shouldn't be worried if you are holding coins that have trust within the community such as Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, and some others that have been around for quite some time and have always performed well in good times.

The disturbance in the market caused by the cases of SEC against exchanges might have affected the market initially but it isn't affected at the moment, but we should still be vigilant and always take trades with extreme care and make sure to have our risk management at place.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things that still make feel awkward with some online casinos on: June 23, 2023, 05:09:22 AM
I think the biggest reason I feel awkward using online casinos is the difference in regulation from one place to the next. It’s hard to stay on top of when you are in new places. In the US it varies from state to state even. Some states I can bet on games, some I can bet on players, some I can use slots, some I can’t gamble at all. I think if there’s one place that a global standard of regulation would be helpful, it’s the gambling space.
I never knew that is the case, or maybe it's not the case with every country and the United States has different regulations for every single state, I used to think that anyone from any corner of the world could access all the features of a cryptocurrency gambling platform as long as their license allows players from that particular country, so for example if I'm from Japan and there is someone from China and the license of the casino we both use to allow players from both countries, we would be able to access the whole platform without any restrictions.

I never knew that they have different regulatory rules for every country or state, or if that is not the case, it should be for the US as well, people from there should also be allowed to access all the areas of a casino, but maybe their government doesn't want that.
129  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: June 22, 2023, 11:22:19 AM
I don`t read the thread but i`m sure that the members gave all interesting casinos. I have another question. Why the OP don`t want to spend 10 minutes and make his own research? It would be easy to find information himself and don`t believe unknown members. And it would take more time to read this thread.
Some people don't want to give it their own time but want to have a better experience with tangible outcome, there's nothing needed on earth that has no supplementary response or answer to on the internet, the time he could have actually use in making his own research is lesser than the one required for him to to through all the replies on this thread and check through various offers mentioned to him, but the only advantage i see here is that he will have more available recommendation in their varieties to choose aside the ones he might get from the internet search base on user's experience.
He will most probably ignore most of the messages because his purpose behind creating this thread was not to start a discussion but he needed some assistance and I'm pretty sure that he will find the answer to his question within the first 3 pages of the thread, and he wouldn't even bother reading other responses, or he might, but he will ignore most of them that don't have anything for him.

And to be honest, he wouldn't get a good response from Google for this question and he would need to use a lot of platforms himself only to find out which is actually a good alternative to Stake, but asking it here will help him better since he knows there will be a lot of people using multiple platforms and they can easily assist.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better to have a trading knowledge than depending on signals. on: June 22, 2023, 07:02:53 AM
As a trader that relies on buying signals, how confident are you about the continuous availability of those signals. Would they always be accurate and dependable?  Heavily depending on signals is parallel to same thing as someone else trading for you with your money. How ironical!

Don't get me wrong. I am not condemning buying of signals perhaps it would be more accrue-able, profitable and less vulnerable for you if you're knowledgeable in crypto trading and  decide adding up with buying of signals if need be. Learning about crypto knows no boundaries.
Learning is still necessary even if someone is buying signals or joining a premium group to get signals for trading because you will always need to know if the signals are actually authentic or not because most of these signal groups and crypto gurus are fake and running their businesses only to get money from poor traders who are not knowledgeable about the market and how things work.

I myself am not in favor of buying signals or joining these groups, it's your money and it should be you who would decide how it is used and which tokens and coins are traded with it, even if you face losses, it won't be an issue because you can recover it if you have learned how you can manage your trades.
131  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: June 22, 2023, 03:56:53 AM
Same as other sports. An AI can always check the previous statistics of each horse based on its record online. Horse racing usually uses the same horse or producer in every race. But an AI has limited use in this kind of match because animals condition is very hard to rate compared to human players.

An AI can be applied to almost any sport as long as there's data available for analysis.
This is why those thinking they can somehow let an AI do all the work for them and earn a fortune while they gamble are just dreaming needlessly, however an expert gambler could in fact improve their results significantly as they could be able to notice details that are impossible for the AI to find out on its own, so combining an AI and a human can produce better results than just using either of them, a combination which is already taking place in other fields and which is proving to be the most efficient way to move forward on those fields.
That sounds interesting, only that when an AI is trained with a human and with human logic the AI learns much more and faster, so all those teachings can be quickly digested by the AI, and if so the AI thinks much faster that the human being and once the AI has learned human logic is much better, I think that for an AI to learn something like this it takes hours, or the time that the human being teaches the AI, there it depends on the human being that I try to teach everything I can to the AI, of course in a very logical way and only in this way will the AI be able to overcome human logic and abstract thinking considering the risks and errors of the human being caused by emotions.
I don't understand what you mean by a human teaching an AI about how human logic works and how can an AI model be able to feel or understand emotions, an AI is created with coded algorithms and is trained using data that is also available in written or coded form, so I don't see any possibility in that for a human to teach the AI how human logic works and how it can read and detect or even understand human emotions and stuff.

An AI model can only act like a robot because that is what it is, it cannot go beyond that, and even if we find a way through that, we are not yet there, and it will still take a lot of time for us humans to reach that time when we can include emotions in these models.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 22, 2023, 02:46:45 AM
land is just becoming more scarce. due to explosive population growth, many people want to own a piece of it, building skyscraper might be a short-term solution, there ain't many tall building in every civilization, but I strongly believe a tall building mark the peak of a civilization, ancient people build pyramid, temple, tower during the peak of their time, lastly they would migrate to a new land to do the same again. Why is it a best investment? That is strange, it is just the most usual thing to do for a person, it is best investment might be for someone else to flip it at higher price, front running anyone else, to next buyer for exorbitant huge sum of money.
What is so strange about real estate being one of the best investments? It's something normal in an economy that when something starts to become scarce and its demand keeps increasing, it rises in value and people will start bidding higher prices for a small piece of it. The land is one of the scarcest things on this earth because once the whole land in the world is covered, there is no more coming into being unless we migrate to another planet like Musk suggests.

So it's natural for the prices of properties to increase exponentially as time goes by because everyone wants to have their own home, their own land, and they want to have it as quickly as possible, so the ones buying today might not have to pay as much as someone who wishes to buy the same land tomorrow.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: June 21, 2023, 04:44:09 PM
According to Investopedia,

Quote
The term poverty refers to the state or condition in which people or communities lack the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of living.
Based on this definition,  poverty can not be restricted to the financial wellbeing of a person, it can also boarder around the lack of basic needs such as food, access to education, lack of access of good healthcare etcetera.
Not having access to good education, proper and good healthcare, a good living standard, and much other stuff probably falls under the category of poverty. Those who only have their basic needs fulfilled are not out of poverty unless they have access to all the things I've mentioned and many more that a poor cannot have access to, and none of these things can be accessed without money these days, so directly or indirectly, lack of money should be considered poverty.

We can see a lot of people who earn a very minimum wage, but with that wage, they get the basic needs of their household fulfilled, can we say that they are not poor? When someone in their household gets sick, they can't go to a good hospital, their children can't get proper education, why? Because they don't have money and all these things are only accessible if you have money.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 21, 2023, 03:46:30 PM
Patience, my friend, is indeed a bitter plant but it bears sweet fruit. Your lack thereof seems to be the cog in your wheel when it comes to gaming. Casino bonuses require the tactical approach of a chess grandmaster and the serenity of a Tibetan monk. You need to strategize, hold your nerves and not just throw your hands up when the going gets tough.

Sometimes, playing for more than 3 minutes might just be the key to unlocking those pesky winnings you've been after. Quick gratification is a millennial myth that's been ingrained in our psyche. However, reality check - it doesn't translate well in the casino world.

Slot machines are designed for entertainment, sure, but they also reward patience. So, while you're not wrong in using it as a de-stress tool, try to approach it with a bit more patience. You might find more joy (and maybe winnings) in your gaming experience.
You are obviously right that patience can most of the time be rewarding even if it's not doable all the time because it needs a lot of willpower, but when we talk about Slot machines, I believe someone needs to have a clear understanding of how they work if they don't want to lose a lot of money since we know how quickly they can finish our bankroll, that's why we need to keep a target and be focused.

Generally, when you are playing on a slot machine, you should be able to know if it's going to pay up or not just in a few spins, but still, one should do some more just to be sure. Doing 50 or maybe 100 spins should give you a clear idea if you are going to get something out of it or not.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management on: June 21, 2023, 06:09:10 AM
If you want to reduce risks, then you need to not participate in risky trading transactions on the crypto exchange and understand the consequences of risky transactions.
But in less risky trades, there is little profit and a lot of time spent on trading. Classic traders do not use more than 3% of capital for risky trading, and those who use more than 5% for this are already trading incorrectly.
We trade in order to profit from the market's prospective, and I have no doubt that not all traders have settled scores with their risk management. Some greedy traders are always looking to acquire everything, but they forget that things don't always go as planned in the space; the market has a way of shocking everyone who is expecting much more, especially addicts. Risk management governs our trades and compels us to consider how much we are willing to lose and gain. Knowing both is a delicate balance, and the risks are well worth it.
Patience and consistency are the most important aspects and one should have these two if they want to be successful in cryptocurrency trading. Greed is something that will always take you towards the negative, when you need to close a trade and take a profit, your greed will stop you and tells you that you can gain more from it, and if you listen to it, your trade will most probably go into negative and you lose the profit along with a part of your invested capital.

In very rare cases, you might get more profits if you don't sell at your target price, but it is not recommended at all. You should always sell when the target is reached, especially if you are trading in altcoins because they move so quickly and if they can go up quickly, they can come down at the same pace as well.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: June 21, 2023, 04:23:03 AM
Day by day increase in prices of goods is making people's lives miserable. The goods which were earlier within the purchasing power of the people are now beyond the purchasing power of the people. A father from a middle class family knows how to manage his family. Apart from managing their own family, children's education expenses, parents' medicine expenses, a middle class family has to live a very difficult life. Cost of goods may not be a big issue for those who have very good monthly income but for a middle class government employee or officer it is a lot of concern. Once the price of a commodity increases, the price of the commodity never returns to its previous level. Everything was fine if the salary of every employee or official increased with the increase in the price of goods then there would be no impact on anyone in running a family.
If only governments were that much responsible to think about those who are living in hell due to the inflation and economic crisis, governments should try and earn enough revenue through different business models and exchanges of goods and stuff with other countries, making tourism easy and risk-free for the world so that more and more tourists come within the country which greatly increases the GDP of the country.

But unfortunately, most governments don't really care about all these things, they know that people from lower classes are suffering from all this, but they barely try and solve their issues, increasing wages can only be possible if the country produces enough revenue to sustain that.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 21, 2023, 01:54:19 AM
Even though Iceland will be playing against Portugal at their home stadium but it will be extremely difficult for Iceland to keep a clean sheet against Portugal today. The quality of the Portugal national football team have certainly improved tremendously in the past few years and I think even when Cristiano Ronaldo were to retire from international football, the current squad of Portugal players will still be able to perform at a high level. I think Portugal will be able to beat Iceland easily today.
50 minutes played in the game and Iceland didn't received a goal yet vs Portugal which are dominating the game. I doubt they will resist until the end of the game.
Meanwhile Bosnia are 1 goal behind of Luxembourg, that was quite surprising! Otherwise the other games are running as expected with the favorite team dominating and leading their matches.
Portugal were completely in control of this match with having 12 shorts on goal but still they were able to score their winner in 89th minute thanks to veteran Ronaldo which give winner to his team with this win now they have four consecutive wins in this event and not concede any goal which is impressive from their side now we will have next match after three months.

Bosnia lost their match at home which is their third defeat after having first win in their first game and Luxembourg were really at his best throughout this match after taking lead in just four minutes of the game and after this missed penalty was also big disappointment for them Luxembourg have just three shots on goal and these were enough for them to score two goals and have another win in this campaign.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: June 20, 2023, 03:14:54 PM
I believe that one of the main factors that makes gambling more widespread is that in recent years it has become really very accessible. I recently watched a video where a man addicted to gambling accused the casino that they released an application, because of which he did not even need to leave the house to place a bet. As a result, he lost everything. And earlier he had to go to the casino and perform some actions, and this contributed to the fact that he thought 10 times about whether he wanted to make this bet at all. And now any bet is a matter of two clicks in the application or on the website.
Lol, I feel pity for those people who blame the casino for making gambling more convenient and accessible once they lose money, they wouldn't praise them if they win a significant amount of money though, I believe it's one's own responsibility to take care of their gambling activities and their money and not to spend everything, casinos will obviously do everything they can to get more and more gamblers because they are running a business and gamblers are their customers.

Such people need to learn to accept defeat because it is not the casino that forced them to gamble, they only provide them the option and if they are reckless and can't gamble responsibly, it's not the casino's fault at all and they need to assess themselves and make the necessary changes.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 20, 2023, 10:22:21 AM
The last line shows how important it is to have a sustainable way to earn money so it makes sense not looking gambling profits as income.

I don't know why people think gambling as a steady source of income.  Are they for real or just fooling themselves because they are lazy to look for a real job?
It is popular among third-world countries for a reason. These countries suffer from poverty and every $ makes a big difference in their lifestyle, they don't fool themselves but look for ways to make extra cash by doing some online activities. The same is true for surveys of pay-per-click websites. I can't blame these users but as mentioned before this is not the proper way to look at gambling as a side income.

I am from a developing country (third-world) and I find people addicted to gambling making excuses that they are gambling to earn so that they won't be pressured to look for real jobs.  All they care about was the entertainment and peers having fun in gambling and often times spend way more than what they earn.  I do not know how they can call it a source of income when often than not they spend more money than earning.
I know a lot of people from that category living around me, they simply can't resist it. Such people start gambling casually only for fun or some maybe start directly to earn money, as time goes by, they start becoming addicted and trying to make it a way of earning money, and this thing starts when someday they become profitable, so they assume that they can do that every day ignoring the fact that it is gambling.

Some people even take loans only to gamble because they don't have a job and they become so lazy because of gambling that they don't even try to work on something else to earn some money, they take loans, lose the money at gambling, take a loan from somewhere else and repay the first one, and they continue doing this until they get totally stacked up with the interests from those loans.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 20, 2023, 05:40:39 AM
It will be interesting to see if Salah can actually win the European League competition with Liverpool. Because I think that is very much achievable for Liverpool. I also think that he is going to achieve some kind of individual thing in the Europa League. He generally plays in the Champions League where the competition is a lot more fearsome and intense. He generally performs really well in the Champions League. So I think it is needless to say that he is going to perform very well in the Europa League.

I am actually more interested to see if Liverpool can actually perform better in the English Premier League compared to what they did in the last season. I am expecting an improvement from them in their performance in the English Premier League.
Salah ability is no doubt in finishing but we're not going to say in a hurry that they will achieve it easily next season due to the many tough attempts to reach the final. Well all the other teams can surprise us that it's so sevilla beat manchester united this season and it shows that a small team that is not seeded can make their run stop.

It's a bit strange if Liverpool fail next season because they are a team that is quite strong at the moment. Salah can make achievements in the European league if he can bring Liverpool to win a trophy in the European league.
Liverpool was doing impressive but due to one poor decision they faced trouble and not able to have spot into top four which is surely concern for them with now they are having good targets for this season and things are looking better even nothing is predictable because now Premier League is going more than competitive league which needs toughest strategies and quality players right now we have top six teams at the same level which can bring interesting competitions for the fans with their performance.

Mohammad Salah is surely best in business but after exit of Sadio Mané we have some decline in his performance which is natural but hopefully now he will be also adjusted with new setup and things could be improved for him and his team for staying back into top ranks.
