As you will notice, the white paper has a version number. It is my intention to update the white paper as new specifications are finalised. There is a lot of on going development and we're rapidly expanding our dev team.
With new developers we all learn better (more secure, anonymous, private) ways of implementing features. As these are defined, I will update the white paper

i wonder why so many people are waiting for deeponion whitepaper. i understand it's just a piece of information describing deeponion project, it's technicality and plans. some whitepapers is just 1 page, while some have hundred pages. for deeponion, how many pages do you think the whitepaper will have?
Its in the best interest for any serious project with a long term vision to have a sound whitepaper. This will give much insight into to the project as a whole. Investors and technical experts normally refer to the whitepaper to see if the project has a valid foundation for growth based on whats presented. So yes the whitepaper is basically DeepOnions technical manual, its for this reason everything need to be done to the point and be perfect so it does not appear or come across as mediocre. |

What is about DeepSend and why the release was postponed? I understand you are currently working on DeepVault. But is this more important than DeepSend?
Deepvault is going to have its own market place and web presence as an online notary service, nobody in the crypto space has done anything like this, it will basically become a product on its own. DeepSend is still in the works and still a core function of becoming a pure means of obfuscation over the TOR integrated blockchain, we probably looking at release after VoteCentral has been established. |

prices are still too low, remember that the last high was 100.000 sat and the market will find a way to reach that value again.
But remember BTC was trading at only 4.6k USD when we reached our ATH at 5.20$ , Btc is trading at 14k USD as of today, a better metric will still be to gauge against USD. No doubt we will reach that high BTC value but only time will tell when atm its doing really well. |

There are people who cannot resist the temptation and already selling onions at this price, but I am glad to see the price is still above $5. Don't sell your precious onions at low price, you'll be surprised in the future!
You have a point, but experienced traders would have sold ONIONS at 7$ and bought back more ONIONS for 5$. True if you have a knack for the markets you can easily increase your holdings, but I caution newbies to rather hold onto their onions and not get burnt playing the markets. I hope we can sustain a new floor at 5$ and propel in the next rally. |

I'm checking to re-invest a part of money from another project in ONION and watching that the price has risen from 3 to 5 USD within few days.
I'm a little bit confused because I want to purchase +- 10000 Onion and need more time for:
- to create a cryptopia account will take about 1 week of verification (because Onion is not tradable on Poloniex)
- also I'm cofused about airdrop terms/comditions : first , I cannot participate because I was not registered on Bitcoin talk before 1st of December; second, I was not able to register on DO forume - confirmation was not came to my e-mail; third, I do not know amount of airdrop to be granted if I cope to register (if I earn 10000 ONION)
Pls comment with assistance, it will be highly appreciated.
if you're going to invest 10000 onions (approx 50k as of now), do so and contact devs team. they might accomodate you and put you in VIP list. but it seems there are many who have 10k onions now and they might ask you to invest more. 50k to be part of a vip list, never heard of it but link please. |

Anything under 100$ is pretty much undervalued, so if you think its too late to get some onion you sadly mistaken its never too late, any entry is a good entry. Onion are set for a huge breakout in 2018, brace yourselves ladies and gents.
This is currently on the Horizon to be released, I'm pretty sure it will be Q1 2018 but we have been surprised in the past with early releases. Woocommerce web plugin, Vote central, android wallet, DeepVault api/web market and the whitepaper. The whitepaper is the most anticipated release thus far, this will give much credibility to the project, its being polished as far as I know.

Guys I don't get one thing - how large is one airdrop?  Next one is 300k. Ah and it is % divided to all accounts depending on the holding correct? So can you calculate around how many coins you will get lets say per 100 onions? Rewards has been been between 5-6 % since the new rules has been implemented, this week will be a big drop of 300k so you can expect a bit more onion pending on your holding balance. Guys can we please vote for DeepOnion on Mercatox ? At least we can try get listed on small exchanges till the time we are searching for big one.

Cryptopia is all good on my side, Both Mobile and Desktop. Although Cryptopia is not mobile friendly but still usable for trading when you on the go. Thanks xsinx. I think with such a serious proposal about buying, you can try to contact the developers directly. I think they can meet you as an exception. At least you do not lose anything from such a decision. Unfortunately Devs do not entertain selling coins privately, this has been the case from the very beginning, only way is for someone to sell their onions via escrow service or the Exchange, good luck in getting the amount of Onion you wish to acquire. |

Is there any commission in process of buying tokens?
You get round about 5-6% for holding and being part of the airdrop, your wallet requires a minimum balance of 100 onions, be active on Bitcointalk forum with 5 post 30 character minimum and be registered and active on the official forum with minimum of 3 post 50 character. You also need to be a jnr member atleast with registration before 1 November 2017 to be eligible for the main airdrop on Fridays. If you cant meet the minimum of 100 onions you can earn onions on the official forum in the form of bounties, contests, article writing or earn deeppoint which is converted to onion on Sundays by participating in the domination tasks. Just some small correction: On the last airdrop (December 15th) the amount of DeepOnions you got was around 4.9% but yea it varied from week to week and I think there is a higher amount of DeepOnion distribution soon (300k weekly instead of 250k) Well in my case it was 5.06 % but thats probably because my balance is over 10k which earn slightly more if you hold between 10-30k Onion. |
