121  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: would you consider 0.08 Cent per kWh cheap nowadays ? on: May 11, 2015, 10:20:07 AM
would you consider 0.08 Cent per kWh cheap nowadays ?

0.08 cent is really cheap compare to the average, but not cheap enough to compete with the giant mining company. Need to be lower then 0.05 cent per kWh.

What is with the quark mining so profitable all of sudden? Also anybody can share wolf0's program please Sad.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: The $250 barrier may be broken this month on: May 03, 2015, 12:29:40 PM
What do you think guys. Bitcoin has been going strong at pumping itself into the 240s and 250 is currently a target for the month which may see a rise eventually to higher figures ...

Another dead cat bouncing, I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped back to $220 level tomorrow. It just repeat too often.
124  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: April 28, 2015, 01:14:06 PM
Definitely want to offload all or as much BTC as much if it hit $1000. But the good question is when? and will it really go up to $1000 again?
125  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer S6 speculation on: April 25, 2015, 12:47:57 PM
When are they releasing S6 and S7? we need bigger hash rate and compact to reduce the shipment charges per Gh/s
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who sold at 450$ ? on: April 12, 2015, 01:25:57 PM
I never sold my BTC, and now when price is 230$ I have to think that I've done a mistake to not sell my btc  Angry

But it is really low now, its time to buy not sell, perhaps average down when you have the chance and sell when its 300$ and above?
127  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Got my ROI some days ago... on: April 12, 2015, 01:24:15 PM
Hi there.

I reached my Bitcoin Mining ROI some days ago, which is pretty fantastic.
So these guys who are saying it isn't a profitable business, they're mostly wrong.
Always depends on power fees, mining rig costs, etc.

I personally mine on BitcoinCloudServices, but i don't know if they are really scam.
I just made my ROI with BitcoinCloudServices, which is a good sign.

Someone else already reached the ROI? It just interests me..

# if this is the wrong section for this, please move.

Greets,
jstyler.

ROI on cloud service is all about luck, there are a bunch of ponzi cloud mining site and you are lucky you are not into one of them.
128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Requirements on: April 12, 2015, 08:02:51 AM
Hello,
recenty i got 64gb dedicated server
i want to run mining on that . is it possible ??

any requirements ?

The requirement to mining is ASIC, search for S5 Antminer to get more details about real mining gear.
129  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Watch out for FRAUD listing on ebay BFL MONARCH on: April 12, 2015, 08:00:02 AM
I recently purchased a bfl monarch for 1.75BTC(Nothing I know but its the concept here) this was the first and only time I will have ever trusted someone trading in BTC on Ebay. Anyway he refused to ship and never confirmed my payment.

He has multiple user names and accounts but they are all from: Montgeron, France

Just a heads up to everyone!

How did you pay ? By Paypal?

Well, he said he paid 1.75 BTC. Do you mean that Paypal now can do transaction in BTC instead of just fiat only?
130  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: April 10, 2015, 10:51:50 AM
suppose you sign in many faucet websites, stay online for approximately 15 hours a day for a week. raping the faucet cashout and captcha solving MANUALLY. no bots involved.

how much will you earn at the end of the week?

i have been trying to understand faucets. how much you can make out of faucets a week. every person will have a different answer since there over a dozen if not more faucet websites that you can earn.

taking into consideration that we are spending 15hours on btc and ltc faucets altogether for 7 days in a row.

I would say about $50, you need some bot to save a lot of time. You basically just need to type in capcha if you use bots.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is really going sideways...? on: April 10, 2015, 05:09:43 AM
I believe < ~245 is a strong buy.

Buy $245 and sell when it reach $300 good idea? I hope it doesn't drop below $200 like what happen few months back.
132  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How About This Mining Rig? on: April 10, 2015, 04:13:51 AM
When I look at this, it makes me rethink on getting actual physical hardware and just go win something for cheap on ebay and exchange it to sell here on the forum.

And then get 1 sold bitcoin, instead of getting a massive electric bill and energy to maintain all of these things.

Its cool to look at though, but just doesnt make much sense to me esp when I know the coin can go down at any time of the day.

You forgot the hope that the coin can go up anyday. Many miners are in BTC for the long term, as this is still considered the early phase for BTC.

Just buy bitcoin if you think it has a bright future, buying miners are a bad idea even for short term or long term.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: which is better for x11 amd or nvidia on: April 06, 2015, 01:45:23 AM
so you guys think i should ditch my 280x for 2x 750ti?

Yes you should, but the performance and efficiency increase actually doesn't worth the time you spend selling and buying. The profit is so low actually I did advice you to sell it and stop mining.
134  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Antminer S6 and S7 Speculation on: April 04, 2015, 02:27:28 PM
Was hopping S6 to be really compact and have really high hash like 10Gh/s for each. Compact is awesome!!

If Bitmain comes out with another compact unit, it would more than likely begin with the letter "U" like the U3 is presently.  The U3 is at 63 GH/s.  I could see a U4 at 100 GH/s with approximately 1/2 the power of the U3.

I actually have a typo in my previous post as I actually wanted to say 10 Th/s. U3 is good but only if it can deliver higher hash so the total hash per space is small.
135  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Came across 20+ miners, help? on: April 04, 2015, 02:24:38 PM
I was recently given 20+ Butterfly Labs 500gh/s mini rigs (Bitforce 500), and I was wondering if they held any value?
They each have 2 1500 watt power supplies I could scrap and sell individually, but are the units as a whole worth anything, or are they too obsolete?

Dont scrap it yet, sell it on ebay as a whole. There are still people buying Butterfly Labs ASIC due to its historical value.

138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I mine with my y510p Lenovo Laptop? Specs given in post on: April 04, 2015, 03:57:07 AM
Hi. So I have a Lenovo y510p laptop. I recently learned about bitcoin mining and i hear people are making a lot out of it. especially when their electricity is free. which in my case doesn't really matters because my laptop is already running pretty much 24/7. Therefore i don't think I'd be adding to any costs.

The specs of my laptop are:

Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.4GHz
NVIDIA GT755M 2 GB Graphics Card (Pretty decent graphics card as it smoothly runs most heavy graphics games).
8 GB RAM
1 TB Hard Disk

So what do you think? Will I be able to pull it off? Can i earn any money using bitcoin? An estimate on how much would if my laptop stays on roughly 20 hours a day would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Yes, but it is not worth at all, you would also shorten the life of your laptop a lot. Also if you want to do some real mining you need ASIC.
139  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: April 03, 2015, 05:15:59 AM
