why the site closed down?

It's not closed down, it's just down, as in server crash or something like that.
Has happened before and all we can do now is wait and see how long it takes jamboom to get it back up, which mostly depends on how long it will take him to even notice it's down.

@jamboom, one small suggestion.

First of all congrats, you got the map to work on mobile, that helps.
Now on mobile the buttons to move the map incl. the button to remove the houses is missing and on PC it's quite annoying having to click that button after every 1 field move of the map.
Could you make an option that sets houses visible or not visible and remembers that setting?

Thanks for the info @jamboom

Silent updates happening, or a new bug?
Just for the information, did I get it right that

- Game Tokens you get per hour has been reduced from 1 per hour to 1 every 2 hours?
- Energy found in crates has been reduced from 1-2 in bronze and 2-4 in silver crates to 1 in bronze and 1-2 in silver crates?

Another thing where I'm not sure how much that used to be, I just did a Game Token mission level 20 and I found ONE Game Token ...... how many Game Tokens does one find in a level 1 mission now and if that's still one, what's the point of the higher level other than wasting 19 energy?
What about other missions (where I haven't paid attention yet), have the rewards of ALL missions been reduced accordingly?

Is this on purpose, or is this all a bug and needs fixing?

I think it's a good start this rating system ... honestly , i miss another rate_button ... the *fair* one, when the average price setup by members for a mining boost = 40 sats and someone put them in for 45  or 50 .. i still should say *fair* instead of *good*.

I couldn't agree more, the system is good and useful and a "fair" button would be great.

Not sure where you get the numbers from or why people would rate something a scam, but let me put my personal experience in between your numbers, obviously eliminating the numbers I have no experience with.

Gold crate = 80 sats

.... sells for 350 sat usually within an hour

Game Token = 2 sats

... I can't get more than just over 1 sat, usually 20 tokens for 30 sat already takes 6 hours or more to sell

Trade Token = 5 sats

.... 2 sat already doesn't sell, I usually put on sale 200 tokens for 400 sat and it fairly often takes a week or longer without a buyer, until I delete the offer and put it back for a lower price

Crystals per 10,000 = 250 sats

.... 20,000 crystals for 350 sat is the borderline and that frequently takes a day or two to find a buyer

2 stars = 2 sats
3 stars = 3 sats
5 stars = 4-5 sats

..... on that one there seems to be a WILD difference in opinion.
I'm putting offers up that consist of 1x 100 gold cards, 1x 100 silver cards, 4-7x 100 bronze cards, by your count worth between 900 and 1200 sat, I'm offering them for 950 sat, I'm getting almost exclusively scam ratings and they sell within a couple of hours anyway.
I'm guessing that's because the ones rating the offers are not the ones in need of cards.

For a fun fact aside, check card <--> sat offers from both sides, offers to buy cards for sat and then check offers to sell cards for sat.
You will see the SAME offers being rated scam from BOTH sides.
Like selling x cards and offering x sat = scam and buying THE SAME cards for THE SAME amount of sat = still scam.

This is here to help rating the market offer. It has been updated yesterday and is still under test. Anyway, the purpose is simple: Find out how any kind of offers are considered by players in order to get an idea of average "good" offer stats and regulate the market against bad and scamming offers.
Be aware that as some players are "playing" with scam button, this one might be removed and only thumbs up/down will remains.
Offers with too many thumbs down might be cancelled automatically while offers will lots of thumbs up might be push up to the list.

Hi @jamboom and thanks for this feature, I like it.
I did notice that some users seem to downrate offers not based on the offer, but just because they don't like the name of the one offering it or something like that.

Since these "unfair" ratings will mostly be out of line, meaning for a good offer there will be like 3 thumbs up and one scam rating, and since these out of line scam ratings will mostly be done by the same users, I would suggest keeping track of who gives out of line ratings and if the same user does that a given amount of times, exclude them from rating offers.

There's still a bug in it, an old one though.
If you look at "all offers" and go to page 2 or 3 or so and then set the filter to "just mine" where the list has just one page, it will not show my own offers, it will show "1 offer found" but an empty list.
I have to go back to "all offers", switch there to page 1 and then switch back to "just mine".

Just to tease you a bit ....... try putting up offers in the market as they are offered in your shop, like 1000 crystals, a chest and 8.9HP for 13,000 sat and see what kind of ratings you get for that.

So we think for today this is manipulated...

You mean after all this time you still haven't figured out how they do this?
It's related to time of the day.
Try running a set of rolls between midnight and 1am and then run a set of rolls between 1am and 2am, you will see.
Midnight to 1am comes out even or on a slight plus, 1am to 2am comes out on a gigantic loss.
(Other times of the day I don't know, I run the multiplyer exclusively midnight to 1am)
If you observe how your win/loss statistic evolves, you can even tell when the server switches, because the difference is visible within 10 or 20 rolls and since this happens every single day at the precise same time there can't be a coincidence.
129  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CRYPTO MINING GAME, Earn Satoshi, Doge and Litoshi by playing to mine on: March 15, 2020, 07:52:10 PM
@jamboom
Here's a little bug report you might want to take care of.
Recently you have implemented some kind of auto page refresh or auto update and it has real bad undesired side effects.

When moving the map (with CTRL + mouse) and the auto update kicks in, it locks the moving, meaning even after you release the CTRL key, the map keeps following the mouse.
Even if you move the mouse completely out of the map, when the mouse returns to the map it still scrolls the map and doesn't allow clicking anywhere.
The only way to get out of it is reloading the page (with F5), meaning your auto update requires and additional manual page refresh even if neither of both were required in the first place.

On mobile, where the map doesn't work either way, but you can move only by typing coordinates into the control panel, you can't send drones anymore.
For a short while one still could, but the program would double all commands, meaning unless one did a page refresh in between, from the 2nd drone on, it would always send two drones to the same place.
Since yesterday one cannot send any drones out anymore, it gets stuck at the message "sending ...", but never sends any.
Only moving your player still works and even that one requires a manual page refresh after every arrival or else it will attempt to move the player twice resulting in an error message instead of moving.

So imagine if the one man show got the coronavirus or has been hit by the tornado in Tennessee last few days ago, it means that the site will discontinue at anytime.

Correct and that's why I NEVER keep my money at Coinpot, I always withdraw as soon as I reach about $5 of value.
131  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: March 06, 2020, 03:59:50 PM
From what I was told, the whole sites are being run by just a single person. So that's why maintenances come without warning whatsoever.

Not sure if anyone else did as well, but as far as I know I was the one who first pointed out this could be a one man show.
132  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: March 06, 2020, 03:14:11 PM
I guess it's the usual cycle they have had for many years.
They let the system run without any maintenance, without anyone ever checking it, then sooner or later something breaks and the system goes from lagging over malfunctioning to plain offline.
From that time on (where I believe that will be in a few days) it still takes them a day or two to even notice and then they finally fix it and the cycle starts over.
133  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CRYPTO MINING GAME, Earn Satoshi, Doge and Litoshi by playing to mine on: March 02, 2020, 07:24:00 PM
@jamboom, here is a suggestion:

First of all let me say I appreciate the recent addition in the market that allows manual input of a number for the amount of cards one wants to sell, but then this addition is setup pretty badly.

- The input field disappears from the screen in the middle of typing, not sure why, I'm guessing if during input the mouse moves a millimeter or something like that.
- On mobile the input field has default type "text", meaning I have to switch from text to numbers every single time and it has a default value of 10 which means that I in 99.9% of cases have to erase the default number before I can put in the desired number.

Furthermore, with the latest banner ads that appear on the bottom of the page not only when loading a page, but out of the blue at a random time, it happens frequently that when done setting all the numbers of all the cards, instead of submitting the exchange, one clicks the ad instead, which doesn't open in a new tab, but redirects the current tab, meaning it closes the CMG page, all the clicking and setting numbers for the exchange is gone and one has to start over.

Last but not least, even with the option of typing numbers, setting up an exchange for cards still means A LOT of clicking, so my suggestion would be:

When setting up an exchange, how about a simple input field below the choice "card" where one can choose between "sell ALL my cards" or "click cards to choose amount"?
That would mean if I want to sell all my cards one single click would do it.
Alternatively maybe a user defined default value of how many cards shall be sold and/or how many the programm shall add for every time I click a card?
Increasing by 10 per click would already help a lot, personally I sell packs of 100, so for me adding 100 per click would be nice.

Houston, we have a lag, a big one.
It has piled up over the last 2 or 3 days, the site got slower and slower and by now we're at a stage where every other click results in a connection timeout, or a "bad gateway" message.
135  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CRYPTO MINING GAME, Earn Satoshi, Doge and Litoshi by playing to mine on: February 02, 2020, 09:29:16 PM
@jamboom, since you said you sometimes forget a few things, here's a little list of reminders

- level 21 missions still missing, I'm almost 15% into level 22 and there isn't even an avatar for level 21 (my player in the map shows just a transparent square), without any level 21 missions it will take me 5 years or something to get to level 22.
- the bug of missions failing on first attempt but success on 2nd attempt is back in massive amounts, seems to depend on time of the day and sometimes it can be over 50% of all missions failing, where the mission icon remains in place, the mission can be done a 2nd time and then succeeds.
- the bug of free cards in the shop frequently not resetting every 6 hours is still there and now even the time indicator is wrong, it resets at a time different from the time indicated.
- site still sometimes switches language after a shortlink.

Here is one ...... well, not really a bug, but something that bothers me.

I always have 10+ tabs open in my browser (Chrome) where most of the sites have some timer(s).
All of these timers manage to match real time, no matter whether I'm on their tab or on some other tab, except of the timers at CMG, where ALL timers lag behind real time BIG time (like 1:9) as soon as I switch to some other tab.
At CMG, whenever I have looked at some other tab for a while, upon return to CMG I have to refresh the CMG page to see accurate timers.

Thanks for the report,
It has been fixed about 10 minutes ago

I'm glad to confirm, it seems to work now.
138  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CRYPTO MINING GAME, Earn Satoshi, Doge and Litoshi by playing to mine on: January 22, 2020, 03:20:34 PM
The "new" second antibot to beat doesn't work correctly.
When doing that one and afterwards trying to refill energy, it won't let you refill energy until the 2nd antibot has less than 20 mins waiting left.
Furthermore the two timers are messed up, jumping around with the time they display when refreshing the page.
Even when not refreshing, the timers count down 2 seconds per second.
139  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] CRYPTO MINING GAME, Earn Satoshi, Doge and Litoshi by playing to mine on: January 21, 2020, 01:22:36 AM
What happened to the game tokens? I had like 300 and now I have 24?

Here's a suggestion:
Could you make the page remember the setting of show/hide buildings, at least until a page refresh, it's really annoying when scrolling through the map having to hide buildings again after every 5 fields shift.
