I think it is still not too late for you to leave signal groups.
participating in the signal groups is too risky. Why not learn
trading by yourself?

I am using Binance Exchange right now
and I'm satisfied, low withdrawal/trading fee,
great web design, and great btc/altcoin daily volume

Currently I'm taking a break in day trading
since the market is still unstable,
I'm focusing on my alternative investments in
the meantime.

Agreed, discipline is the key.
Relax your tits(lol), if the market turns bloodbath
and you find it hard to make a profit, then search
for some alternative investments, be flexible.

For long term trading, agreed.
But I prefer doing short-term trading, but as of now
that the market is still unstable I'm taking a break
and switching to long-term.

Some may and some may not, take note the prices and demand of some
altcoin doesn't relate to bitcoin's. depends on their uses and seasons also.

If day trading/scalping doesn't suit you maybe long term trading is for you.
just control your emotions, be active to the crypto community and be updated
to the mainstream news.

I am focusing now to BTCTC/Altcoin trading pairs,
but not full time, I also take my time researching

If you want to earn passive income then long-term trading is for you.
Be sure pick those hidden gem coins.

Pump means the price is going higher
Dump means the price is going lower

Good news that the groupchat has been removed, Pump and Dump groups causes chaos,
many traders specially newbies has been FOMOd because of P&D groups, so never participate
in any P&D groups.

I don't think that you need a professional trader,
if you need some help bitcointalk community is always open.
don't underestimate the power of a community.

Rather than spending money and time in hiring a prof. trader to teach you,
you need only to sacrifice time and effort in searching for tips, you did great by
posting here.

Regarding trading tips, I don't recommend using candle stick reading in
your trades, rather spend all your time mastering Technical Analysis.
