121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token on: July 26, 2019, 08:55:59 AM
you are right that in every dump, the bounty hunter is the target they will blame, even though they know and see that the percentage of token sales bonuses is greater than the bounty allocation, sad. unfortunately developers cannot prevent this dump, even though they can avoid it by buying back, locking reward tokens or delaying the distribution of reward until the first listing on the exchange.

bounty selection must be done well, not only by seeing high reward allocations, but who manages the bounty or BM is one of the important requirements in selecting each bounty.

Your last paragraph really caught my attention and it’s a salient point to always take into cognizance the bounty manager and not just allocations. Is there any way some tested and trusted bounty managers can be posted in order for us to always look out for projects they handle? Because these ones already has projects they handled before with good success rates.

The reason why everyone wants to get paid in bitcoin or ETH is because they don't want to wait when bounty is over, they want quick rewards,i prefer to get paid in tokens because it will be a lot profitable than getting paid in ETH or btc

There are times it works the way you have talked but on many cases as well they turn out to be decorations on our wallets. Not quick reward as such but being sure that your effort will not be a waste at the end of the bounty.

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token on: July 23, 2019, 09:47:45 PM
For the fact that many projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem doing bounties pay bounty hunters in their native tokens thereby blaming hunters for the dump in price most at times. I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily. I took part recently in a bounty (ANYONE project) and the payment is in btc though still awaiting payment but we're saved from unnecessary bickerings relating to price.
If on this bounty space we can get rewards in these currencies (btc or ethereum) it will do more good because after payout everybody faces their business and it will be left for the project team to see to how value could be added to their token or project as I can term it.

It's quite glaring and painful at the same time, bounty hunters are at the receiving end. In some cases, bounty managers change the rules with utmost disregard to hunters. I partook in a bounty just recently, where the BM was looking for a different excuse to cut down the rewards in their own native token seeing that price of the token skyrocket after their IEO and not allocating the agreed percentage to those tagged successful thereby denying hunters of what should have accrued them.

Any suggestion on the way forward that could be of help to bounty hunters having fair treatment and not be treated as a piece of rag after successful project campaign(s)? I want to learn from others experiences on the forum.

128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: July 20, 2019, 08:09:43 PM
In my country, no legislation stopping it for now though few persons have raised issues concerning its usage. As long as you come across any platform accepting it here, it's very okay as no one will embarrass you for that. Though one financial expert in my country already told the central bank to open fronts for technological advancement because he sees cryptocurrencies as the future of financial transactions.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mutiply the BTC with your own gains?? on: July 20, 2019, 04:46:07 PM
In my opinion if you invest in Bitcoin it's better to relax and not think satisfied with what you have now because I believe Bitcoin will continue to grow, if you make a decision to sell, I'm sure you will regret selling it, but all decisions are in the hands You, how you think about it yourself and you also have to look at the global market price situation so you don't lose your investment.

If you have the holding power, then you should not sell your bitcoins now. Even if the bitcoin moves down, just do not sell and wait for the prices to rise near the all time high value.

Trading is the best way to multiply your BTC besides that holding it now is the convenient way for those who don't have time for trading.

Trading is risky and if you are not a good trader you can end up losing the money also. If you are not a professional trader, i will suggest you to keep the bitcoin with you and do not involve in trading.

You are very correct, without proper trading rudiments, one can get burnt easily and lost all invested. As advised if you are not grounded in trading or if you don’t wish to learn it well then stay off trading.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mutiply the BTC with your own gains?? on: July 20, 2019, 04:42:42 PM
For me I will say take your profit out if you are not in a hurry to use your capital. No matter how small it looks, profit is profit. Also, if you have trading skills you can as well study the market , get some good tokens trading on btc pairs instead of trading on btc alone.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan reportedly pushes "International network for cryptocurrency payments" on: July 19, 2019, 06:07:07 PM
Japan raising this issue is a welcome one but cryptocurrency is already serving the purpose of payment. No middleman is needed like the way bank operates. The anonymity bitcoin is known for seem not to be enjoyed if some of these regulations comes through.

133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Form of Anarchy on: July 17, 2019, 09:02:36 PM
Its true, anarchy rejects the authority so bitcoin rejects the economic authority so we can use anarchy for bitcoin.my answer is no, bitcoin doesnt need a government support, its based on this.

It will be quite difficult for bitcoin to attain the widespread adoption we so desire without regulations from governments of different countries. Where there is a ban you cannot fully have a functional bitcoin or blockchain activities.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One week in Bitcoin July 2019 on: July 16, 2019, 10:46:57 PM
It's an interesting moment as we watch to see where this will all end. Trump's fears are clear and he is not alone on this, many countries think the way he is doing right now. They felt bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will cause major harm to the financial institutions cum banks and tend to label it as an easy front to launder money or push drugs but they failed to also let the world know the massive corruption going on in those banks.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: July 15, 2019, 05:21:44 PM
It's a measure to control spamming and unnecessary posts, though I think there are some good giveaways but differentiating them becomes the problem. The decision has brought about sanity to the forum because it is meant to increase knwoledge and information regarding the clockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 12, 2019, 07:53:29 PM
The points you raised are quite interesting and of great importance but it can never guarantee how successful a project will be. We have seen projects with renowned team and all you mentioned above but still failed and went away with investors money.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can bounty hunters reclaim their respect? on: July 12, 2019, 02:33:45 PM
It will be difficult for the majority of bounty hunters to be on the same page otherwise some of these low paying projects might be thought a good lesson. These projects have no regards for hunters, already trading projects if seen should be promoted more than some of the ones offering low payout. Reclaiming respect will be almost impossible.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Blaming Bounty Hunter! on: July 12, 2019, 10:51:07 AM
This is a very good topic and something I have been pondering about for some time now. The percentage allocated for bounty most times is insignificant to have real effect on prices when they list on an exchange. Projects as you rightly stated, should look into huge percentage allocated to early investors which they use to woo them. In some cases, bounty hunters tokens are locked for a period and that still doesn’t stop the decrease in price. Investors are real dumpers mostly when they think the team isn’t that strong and lack focus.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anthony Pompliano and Peter Schiff to Debate over Bitcoin and Gold on: July 11, 2019, 08:46:09 PM
It's not going to be an easy debate because convincing Peter Schiff about bitcoin as another gold if I should put it that way will be an uphill task, but I look forward to the outcome of the debate.
