More sanctions the harder the Russia become on Ukraine, the sanctions should be redress on Russia, Russia is 80% independent, they can actually do without any support from USA and others NATO nations.

NATO should stop stop interfere in the the dispute and allow Russia and Ukraine to hold a Peace talk, that's the only way to stop the aggression.

Mbappe has refused to negotiate with Al Hilal, he's possibility to join the Saudi Arabia league is slim. i don't know why he turned down such huge amount of money fo just a year contract. Mbappe will be chased out of Psg if he has no buyer this summer. and that will be embarrassing to him an his family.

Al Hilal should bid for another player, Mbappe seem to be difficult to sign this season.

Previously Napoli had said that they would be ready to release Osimhen at a high price in this transfer window. Thus, if a team wants to bring in Osimhen in this transfer window, they have to spend more money to bring in Osimhen.

Indeed, there are rumors that say Osimhen refused to sign a contract extension with Napoli. I think his attitude is most likely to want to ask for a bigger salary in the new proposal put forward by Napoli. If Napoli are unable to comply with Osimhen request, it is very likely that he will not sign a new contract and will relatively stay with the old contract until the end, he will leave on a free transfer. Well to maintain his best form next season it will be a big factor for him if he fails to shine in next season I think his release clause will drop significantly in next season.
Napoli are not ready for him to leave the club anytime soon. They'd be willing to increase his salaries, and offered for the extension of his is contract, which would be great news for the Nigerian-born attacker. He has a lot of work to do next season, and he is always eager to put things together in the club, no matter how long it takes. Victor Osimhen has personal decisions to make, and whatever decisions he chooses, he will most likely suit up for himself because he is a solid player with complete backup growth from his teammates and his personal abilities on the pitch.

I enjoy watching Osimhen in Naples. I hope he stays at Napoli and plays well. I would love for him to show his true performance in the champions league under the blue jersey. He was one of the players who had the biggest share in last year's Napoli championship. I would like him to stay at Napoli for a long time, but the Premier league must be more appealing to him.
No Gain saying, Osimhen will be Napoli player next season, regardless of the countless offer from Manchester city and the rest elites club around Europe.
The Napoli president is keen of keeping him for more season, and he uses high tag price to chase others away from coming for Osimhen this season.

Osimhen has to develop more to be able to compete in Premier league Incase he found himself there next season. He has this season to prove his consistency.

...therefore Pep Guardiola still needs Kyle Walker's services at least until next season.
Of course, but the problem is that Pep wouldn't need his services throughout the season, he will be picked specifically for certain games, just like what happened last season. I'm pretty sure Walker doesn't want that, he wants to move to a team in which he can start nearly every game, and he knows City can't give him that and this is why they are offering him just a one year contract. If kyle Walker leaves City, it is because he knows that his game-time at the Etihad would be quite limited next season.

I'm guessing Walker will have trouble playing backups because he's a big player. Manchester City will lose power by losing him. The fact that he is 33 years old seems to keep him in the team as a substitute. He may not be able to show the old performance due to his age. Still, he can make a transfer where Saudi Arabian teams can make money with their big salaries.
The fact remain that Pep Guardiola will sell Walker this summer, it may look impossible but by the end of the deadline,he will surely go to Bayern Munich, it's seems Coach Tuchel take Walker as his priority side two this summer.

Pep Guardiola, has many potentials in that wing, if he sell Walker out this season. It won't be a problem to the Manchester city treble team.

I'm taking Molde ML @1.72. Also, over 2.5 in Servette - Genk game. There is no favorite in this game, but I expect to see some goals there. What else, odds for Copenhagen looks attractive, but I skip this game, it looks a bit tricky for me.

Which team will be the Ferencvaros of the second round, disappoint in the first leg and shit the pants in the second? Galatasaray, Dinamo Zagreb? Something's got to give... Grin

I'm a bit surprised to see what odds are given for Galatasaray win - 1.55. I expected that it will be much lower as they are huge favorites. Though, they have some missing players like Icardi, they newest signing Zaha also not included in their squad list. I would like to see different scenario, but I expect to see Galatasaray win.
The games are unpredictable, have tried all odds isn't working out, have lost money today. Galatasaray has just scored two goals in the die minutes to win the game. It's surprising.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 25, 2023, 04:46:11 PM
Some teams in the Premier League do have almost the same opportunity for next season as long as the team coach can take advantage of players who have talent in certain lines and I think not only Liverpool can do that, but there are several other great teams who can also do this as long as their players don't suffer injuries next season. Nunez and Mohammed Salah are pretty good players, but they still need to make Liverpool look stronger next season with a level of hard work that isn't easy.
It's true that all clubs have the opportunity to win trophies, the main requirement is to consistently earn three points in every game. The player injury factor will be very decisive because the squad will lose balance and depth of play, if no player is injured it will be very profitable. I think Liverpool are entering a period of transition and fit is well aware of this, after being abandoned by their captain Henderson who moved to the SPL, Klopp must be able to find the right formulation to concoct tactics so that it makes it easier for players to adapt more quickly.

Looking at Liverpool transfer market movements this summer, they have revamped the midfield sector which was considered a deficiency last season, and the three defenders who have been withdrawn from loan periods will add options to defense next season
To win the title is  not about starting well by going on 8 matches unbeaten, its about winning your last eights matches. and you can only win your last matches if you have a quality bench.

your quality players on bench will determine if you will win it or not, Manchester city has been dominating the league for long now, because of the quality of their bench. one has to have a good coach and money to buy good players first.

however, they're many clubs emerging to an elite club because of rich owners. next season, Manchester city can not win the treble. they will have so many contenders.

The league is getting more attention  daily, more players are coming through. and by the end of the transfer market, the league would be full of potential from Europe.

mbappa parents should disown him if he reject such huge amount of money for just a year contract, its insane to reject it for trophy and personal recognition. he should go for the money, football is now a business for more money. no passion again, he could get the contract and sign for Real madrid next year. than to stay in Psg where there is no more love for him, from the fans down to the management.

Manchester united interest in Rasmus Hojlund is good for the future of the club, but not immediately result, i think Manchester united needs to define what they want to do with him. he's a good striker and fit to play both top 9 and wing. But i would have prepare Harry Kane than him, because Kane is used to the league, while Rasmus Hojlund will find it hard to settle in.

if i was Erik Ten Hag, i would have get Kane now , then by January i bid for Rasmus. its all about the team plan.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 24, 2023, 08:01:21 AM
It is definitely going to be a tough season for everyone and that includes Chelsea and Liverpool, although both teams has actually had a good transfer market and the market hasn't ended yet meaning that they can still get more players into their team.

I am still looking at Manchester city, arsenal and Manchester united this would be the teams to actually drag for the English premier league and I am still going for Manchester city to lift the league but it would be heavily contested.
The English Premier League would be extremely competitive, with only the most outstanding team winning the championship. Gamblers have already begun to formulate their betting strategy and forecasts for the next season. A competitive season for everyone; we know which clubs will rebound and who will continue to have dismal records. Chelsea and Liverpool were in dreadful form last season, but they will undoubtedly improve this season. Manchester City and Arsenal, perhaps I can't guarantee that the Gunners are still in condition following their pre-season loss to Manchester United, Mikel Arteta has a lot of work to do for his team.
Honestly next season will so tough that even the underated clubs will challenge the top team, clubs like Tottenham, Brighton, Newcastle, Chelsea and Aston Villa will prove their mettle when playing against those top clubs in fact will make the season to the most competitive season ever, of course many pundits and analysts will tip Man City as the likely champion based on their pedigree and consistency in the league, however they also face a stiff competition from Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle respectively because many of those clubs had also strengthened their squad with quality players.
Meanwhile Arsenal loss to Man Utd in their last preseason match shouldn't be a yardstick to rate the club until the league start properly.
i watched Aston villa game against Newcastle today and you could predict how tough the league would be, there is not average and top team in the league any more, every team are strong and are favourite for the title next season,

Liverpool and Arsenal wil give Manchester city a tough fight for the title race, Manchester united preseason records are something to worry about, they have improved and another club that will do well too.

Manchester united win against Arsenal was not just a win, but a message to Aresenal and rest fo the club in the league that they are back to winning way.

It surprises me to see this news. I can't even expect how totenham owner was sending a requestion to the levy to give an ultimatum to the harry kane regarding his transfer. Mbappe and Kane are both on an equal footing when it comes to what they are receiving. I could not describe it but this is crazy.
Totenham was also in the same situation as PSG. The club is still waiting for kane to decide his future.
If Kane doesn't renew his contract of course Tottenham will have to sell him in the transfer market this summer because otherwise Kane will leave at the end of next season for free, I think that's something teams are taught to do so they can take advantage of the sale of the player.

I think it's quite difficult to be in Kane's position right now, on the one hand he wants his career to be more brilliant and on the other hand his love for the team he has defended for a long time, namely Tottenham, with Tottenham not entering the UCL I think greatly influenced Kane not wanting to fully play in this team again.
Bayern Munich are still confidence in signing Harry Kane this summer,  Tottenham should just free him and kook out for another player to replace him, Kane has tried for the club for many years, and his decision to leave now should be respected. he needs to win a trophy and he has none with Tottenham in his prime time. Harry kane should just leave regardless what the fans will feel, at the end they will be okey without him.

Tottenham would no want to let him go for free, if he do not sing the new contract, then they have to sell him to Bayern Munich and gain more. Manchester united is also interested in him, but lets see how it goes.

when things are hard on me, i do think of how i used to enjoy when thing are well with me and see t as part of life. There is no smooth sail in life, you must pass through tough and good times. But your ability to scare through and never fall is what make you a complete man.
Some people can not go through tough time, some commit sucide when they faces hard time. But that should be speak against, people must learn how to endure tough because there are not permanent, it will surely come and go.
132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: July 24, 2023, 07:29:00 AM
Tourism is a people's means to life and wealth. Its one of the major sources for Dubai's wealth as they've invested deep in the system.

The continents are shaped differently and have got unique features and landscape hence, a need for exploitation by those who desire beauty ina nature and what the land has to offer. Africa is no exception to these opportunities to amass wealth and develop its nations.
We've got unique features that would be worth seeing and weather conditions that are worth experiencing.
My guy, its Terrorism the Op is talking about not tourism. know the two conceerts first, there not even close in meaning. always read a thread before contributing.

terrorism has taken over the world, especially in Africa and Arabia nations. they have destoyed all source of revenus. The are dangerious to national unity and peace. most of these group are form base of religion sentiment and through agitation. like in Nigeria, the Boko haram as terrorist group has killed so many lifes, they are religion base terrorist group. They were formed by top notible men in the country who uses them for their political and seflish guy.

Terrorism, must be deal with any one found funding these group should be brought to book. thats the only way to reduce these group in the world.

If Mahrez leaves, Manchester City may pursue Raphinha. [...]

He already left City to join Al-Ahli and regarding pursuing Raphinha, I don't think there is a need to sign a right winger as there is Foden who can play at that position as well and there is Bernardo Silva as well who are adaptable to that position.

David Ornstein reports that Chelsea has made contact with Ajax regarding Mohammed Kudus [1]. Chelsea are getting close in personal terms with the player so that's a very good progress for Chelsea.

Manchester city has a good replacement of Mahrez beside. He was not in Pep Guardiola first team, he prefer playing him in tough matches. Now he has gone to the Saudi Arabia pro league, Foden Will be a good replacement to him. I never expected Mahrez to leave so soon, he had contact with Manchester city and he cut it short just to join the Saudi Arabia pro league side Al-Ahli. It's because of the high pay or he wants to join to develop the new league. Football is play for money not passion again
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 22, 2023, 05:01:30 PM
Yes and also, it seems that it is not something new nor is it something strange anymore about the many players who will play in the Saudi Professional League next season. Big pay without a hard target to win the title, so it looks like it will be a comfortable task to undertake to play in the Saudi Professional League. But yes, even though it is rumored that there will be many players who will join, the reality is that there are still some players who reject it and still choose to play for clubs that play in Europe.
The fact is like that, especially the players who are still young. Surely most of these players will prefer to play in Europe. Because they will definitely think about their career for a longer time, and for a better playing experience. Because it is undeniable that the quality of football in Europe is indeed very good so far. Whether in terms of coaching or in terms of facilities and player quality, the leagues in European countries are indeed the best.
For the time being, it will definitely stay that way.
But that doesn't mean that all of that will rule out the possibility, that there won't be young players who want to play in the Saudi pro league. Because if the Saudi Arabian League remains consistent, it wants to advance and popularize its football league. For the next few years, maybe there will be more young players who will be willing to play in the Arab league.
Saudi Arabia pro league is developing very fast, you can see the level of quality players leave European countries to join the Saudi Arabia pro league. Just within a year the league came into public notice, both young and old players are considering Saudi Arabia pro league over the Other European leagues.

I just believe they continue like this, within a few years, they league will be top five league in the world. They have go facilities and good player welfare
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 22, 2023, 04:54:48 PM
I agree with you. Even in the last season we have seen many such clubs, despite having a lot of star players, they cannot perform well. For example we can look at Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United teams. On the other hand, Newcastle and Arsenal had very few star players in their teams. However, Newcastle and Arsenal played well because of the bond between the players. Especially the Newcastle team. This team was not very strong. However, they remained consistent throughout the season and also qualified for the Champions League. And so it is a misconception that only star players are needed for team success. Good results are possible even if experienced coaches and players are confident.
And how Newcastle did it, because they also had updated team, which was formed from players who had just arrived and they did not have much time to play. But Liverpool didn't need time for that, they sold a few players, Nunez came, but the main team was the same. By the way, a lot of new players also came to Arsenal and they played great, so it’s not clear what exactly this connection depends on, most likely the mood in the team also decides a lot.

A good performance of a team requires an experienced coach first. If the coach is not experienced, the team will not get the expected performance even after having a strong squad. Liverpool's squad was strong. But their coach had several tactical mistakes. Hence Liverpool's performance was erratic. Arsenal and Newcastle, on the other hand, performed well with average teams. I expect a better performance from Newcastle next season. But it doesn't seem like this team will be able to continue such great performance in the next season. Because the Newcastle management is still not taking the necessary steps to strengthen the team.
That's not 100% sure, the strength of any team depends on the finance of the club. You can hire a good and experienced coach into an average team and they will still lose and flop. Every coach are good untill you hire them into an elite club.

Team, strength also depends on the quality of players in the squad, if a team have s good number of quality players, they will have a good results and performance. Not absolutely coach experience. Club finance and players qualify are most important things to strengthen a team performance.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 22, 2023, 04:48:55 PM
If you are someone who is active in gambling, then you will feel how difficult it is to do self-knowledge to minimize defeat. For someone who is deep in gambling, the self-control factor will not have much effect and they will even forget about it.

Truth, Self-control is just a myth if you are already gambling. Only few person manage to control their emotion when they are on the influence of gambling while the majority of gamblers usually don’t mind control themselves in actual.

this defeat has indirectly provoked them to do it further with high spirits and with extraordinary confidence for a victory.
Same with profit, Losses is really serves as the key factor on why gamblers keep comin back. Either chasing losses or chasing profit. Either way, that’s how gambling works and you will only understand it until you run out of money.
The kind of spirit that controls Gambling is so strong powerful, and it has made so many persons go insane.A story that a guy confessed about what gambling did to him, according to him when he came to church to make testimony of how God delivered him from the spirit of gambling. He said he had about 5 million in his account and his friend introduced him to online bet in his phone, sportybet precisely,he started staking with high amount in their virtuals,he won the first and second time, and ever after then,he has been loosing,he lost to the extend that he finished all the money he had in his account, and he said most of his lose were cut one.He had to run to a pastor to deliver him after when he almost comited suicide in his house as a result of depression from the loss, but was rescued by a friend who came to visit him that day. The pastor prayed for him and took his phone from him,and gave him back after a month, and ever since then,he hasn't thought of doubling his money by playing virtual.
This is funny, I think no spirit controls gambling, it's just a mindset and the ability to know when to stop as king, I started gamble in 2012 I never won a day, I quite in 2013. I just started again this year I, have won more than have lost. It's just the ability to know that you can only stake with your spare money. Depending your income on gamble is dangerous thing to do.

It  all depend on tribe and individual, some tribe has certain age for a man and woman to settle down, regardless of the economic and situation, you just have to pick a wife and start a family.

while, some people have to plan on certain things first before settling down, some needs a build a house, buy car and be fully employed before thinking of starting a home. its all based on what one need first.

Thus, Onana debuted for Manchester United in a deal until the summer of 2028. This deal costs Manchester United about 55 million euros, including surcharges. Onana did not choose the number 1 shirt left by David de Gea. Instead, he will wear the number 24 shirt at Old Trafford. The number 24 he wore at Ajax and Inter was his lucky number.
After making several offers and almost 3 times being rejected by Inter Milan, Onana was finally released at a cost of around 55 million euros to Manchester United, this figure was indeed feasible because Onana's performance last season was so good. He will become an important player in Erik Ten Hak's squad after David De Gea leaves, his appearance will be highly anticipated by fans and hope he can help Man United face the competition next season.

So there's no reason to choose another shirt. Onana expressed excitement at reuniting with teacher Erik Ten Hag and can't wait to be dedicated to MU's success
An extraordinary purchase was made by Man United because Onana's ability under the crossbar could help the game scheme and strategy implemented by Erik Ten Hak. Now the pair will be reunited at Old Trafford next season and it will be great to see him in action next season.
Now that Manchester united has been able to get a new keeper, they should focus on the attacking line, that's their weak side. Onana is one keeper that Erik likes and confidence in. know he has resigned all his best players in Ajax, let's see what he will use them to win this season.

Guys Saudi Arabia league is full of Premier league players and more are still planning to join, is this not weaken the English premier league?there should be restriction. I'm scared, the manner big stars are joining the league from the premier league.

Beside that, next season will be very tough regardless for the stars that are leaving, Arsenal and Manchester city are the favourite for the title, while Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham will makde the top four, Manchester united willl struggle, because they have no good attacker

Liverpool Football Club has reached a preliminary agreement to sell their esteemed captain, Jordan Henderson, to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq. The deal, which amounts to £12 million with potential additional payments, marks a significant shift for Henderson, who has been an integral part of Liverpool's success for over a decade.
https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/1092323-farewell-to-anfield-hendersons-departure-to-saudi-club-al-ettihadconfirmed

Finally, henderson's transfer process will almost come to its end. So many people were posting how he has been contributing a lot to the liverpool. Another great player from liverpool was joining in the saudi club after firmino has become the first liverpool player who joined in al ahli.
The next must be fabinho. I dunno his progress. I may try to check it later. We are still a long way to go till the end of summer transfer season. I expect there will be so many players to join in saudi pro league.

More superstars, more viewers will be watching this league next season. Even some unpopular club in saudi pro league was also starting to approach some european players.
This league gonna be crazy next years. I wonder how much money will able to be spend by saudi club till the end of summer.
Money is nothing for saudi club.
I new this deal will work, Henderson can not resist such offer, beside he will be working under his former teammate Gerrard steven, this is a good news to the Saudi Arabia league, more players are coming in so fast, and the leageu is as popular now than some leagues. Next season, will be interesting to watch the league.

Yesterday, Telles Alex agreed a deal from Manchester united to Alnassr club. The league is growing so fast.
