121  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockChain New Scam Site ? on: April 11, 2016, 06:14:47 PM
It's funny since google adsense regime punishes regular users everyday, and things like this phising site seems to be ok.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend had a strange idea on: March 30, 2016, 05:01:43 PM
0.0005 btc is too low to spark interest of any would-be claimer. You should make it at least to the equivalent of 1€ or don't do it at all.

50000 satoshi looks definitely better Cheesy But yes, 0,2$ could be too less for attract anybody. Maybe there could be a program, that would allow people to get some decent portion of BTC under some conditions, like making some amount of transactions or something.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: March 30, 2016, 04:43:26 PM
If Bitcoin goes mainstream that will be a good thing because it will be accepted not only by big stores all over the world but by all kinds of smaller shops like grocery stores, hairdressers, laundromats etc. Consumers will have the choice to pay with their fiat or Bitcoin funds and that will help to bring the prices down and I hope there will be discounts for paying with Bitcoin for example.

More likely Bitcoin goes mainstream if it become common for people to get paid in Bitcoin instead in Bank account. Long way from there, but its fine considering Bitcoin is not readdy yet for any higher usage because of capacity problems.

I think bitcoin has full potential to get on mainstream as it is getting more and more popular day by day and we will see many users using bitcoin as a currency.

I doubt, if majority of bitcoin users treat BTC as regular mean of payment. I'd rather say, that most of people give a try with investing and gambling.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could consume as much electricity as Denmark by 2020 on: March 30, 2016, 04:40:56 PM
4 years for banking system means nothing (or just another crisis), but for bitcoin it's whole era. So many things could happen and there are lot of possible factors to have impact on whole bitcoin ecosystem.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: March 21, 2016, 07:49:38 PM
Usually using mobile wallets but also i like to store bitcoins online. At my opinion it doesn't metter what way people using. It depend of peoples paranoya Grin

Storing coins online only increases risk of loss due to theft aka "hackers attack", but doesn't prejudging anything Smiley Cold staorage has its own weak points, but still is way better.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 21, 2016, 07:45:45 PM
I'd bet on bitcoin would survive - among the 7 billion people there must be a group of people determined to keep it live somewhere in hideaway. As the difficulty would fall dramatically, they could mine tousands of coins, but I doubt if BTC would be worth anything after the war is over.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 18, 2016, 10:30:47 AM
The best way to invest is definitely to go to cloud mining or something like that, a safe, trusted investment website, and eventually get a profit. Gambling/ponzi schemes are very volatile and there is a high chance of just going bust.

I'd rather stay away from cloud mining. It could be profitable ony when trading hashing power, but you can trade bitcoins directly that would be better idea. Especially long term mining contracts look promising only at the beginning.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just invested 300 BTC and 10M NXT in Cell 411 on: March 18, 2016, 10:27:13 AM
There are examples of many services that can be used from the app level instead of phone calling, so why not the emergency alerts? Mobile apps provide many feature, that can save your time and improve effectiveness - that things are crucial for alerting anyone. Good job  Smiley
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 18, 2016, 10:20:58 AM
Yes many people are doing that. And that is very good. I hope that more people will have some profit later in the future after the price rise.
But we never know indeed what is going to happen later with the future, but we also know that the halving is coming.

Halving is the only hope that we have that it will take bitcoin to a higher level, and that is the reason majority of us are holding it for halving so that we can sell at the right time.

It's hard to define "right time" for selling bitcoin. It depends on your goals that you've assumed and your discipline in plan realisation.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 15, 2016, 08:42:06 PM
Just remember, that every income starts from someone's loss. It's not like everyone wins because of low price or any other factor.
131  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 08:38:32 PM
It must be year of bitcoin and price is going higher and higher .might be touch $500 within this year
I'm afraid many people are expecting a full-on halving. they all expect to be able to sell their current bitcoin halving. Imagine if everyone sell their bitcoin. What will happen ? certainly demand will decline. This will impact on the price of bitcoin. bitcoin prices will decrease drastically probably will not touch $ 500
Yeah, the same thing from which I also feel fear. It is sure that halving will increase the price of bitcoin and hope it will touch $1000, but will all the bitcoin holder start to sell their bitcoin? It will affect the price of it.

As bitcoin reached 1000$ once, people expect bigger hype IMO. Of course, some of them would sell @1000, it's kind of psychological border.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 08:32:25 PM
Getting involved with gambling and gambling around 1 BTC when it was worth $100

Getting involved in gambling is a bad thing no matter if you are loosing bitcoins, USD or any other valuable asset.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: March 15, 2016, 08:29:52 PM
To be honest, standard wire transfer between different banks in my country are confirmed 3x a day, that can take even ~10 hours during the night. People just don't give a f.. about bank transfer confirmations, as they trust banks, while with bitcoin the situation is rather opposite.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People mocking of me for using Bitcoin on: March 14, 2016, 06:22:49 PM
Seriously, talking about going moon and claiming that bitcoin will make any bagholder rich in one night sounds like fanatic Tongue I'd rather show bitcoin as really usefull thing, and talk about it's future in terms of adoption and usefullness.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach Bitcoin on price charts, or even replace it? on: March 14, 2016, 06:13:40 PM
There were few other coins pretending to be game-changer, that have faded to oblivion or went nowhere: BlackCoin, NXT, WhiteCoin, NEM (did it even launched?), Ripple and so on. No technical novelty will make any coin defeating bitcoin. Just no Smiley
136  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 03:13:31 PM
why should women be more or less be motivated than men?
And why should they be motivated otherwise?
if I talk about bitcoin...it is not a gender talk...(lol)

Right. It's rather a question: if bitcoin could be treated like daily mean of payment or still have to be some techy tidbit, with speculation potential.
If first option, everyone could be convinced to use BTC.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2016, 12:58:27 PM
Once I've dreamed about extreme price rocketing, when I had some bitcoins stored. Anyway, at the end of that dream I had a strange and sad feeleing, that something is wrong here and it could be unreal  Cheesy
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2016, 12:52:49 PM

tell these women to spend the coins by buying swimwear and some girl stuff. they'll like it. they don't even wanna know what bitcoin is all they want to know is how to spend it. at least they use it which is the point.

This is true. They love shopping also. Take them to a mall where there is a lot of stores that accepts bitcoin . Let her find what she want then buy it for her. Now she will ask how are you paying it and why is it different and you dont need cash. That way it will spark and give her an idea that she want to do it also.

Tell also that you can earn it just by doing this and that.

Yeah, most important is to teach them how to earn bitcoins rather then just spending it  Grin as if they will continue to spend then sky is the limit and you will have a feeling that why I told her about bitcoins  Angry

Well that is just for the start. Spend for them to see how good it is. But the next one should be earned by them. They cant spend all my bitcoin just for their own leisure. I would tell her that you have to earn it and it is not that hard to get some.

exactly, if you want to spend you need to earn it first, you will not get everything ready on your table, you need to make efforts to earn it, and if you earn it, start spending it.

Main source of Bitcoins will be still buying them in exchanges. Prices and whole ordering process have to be so attractive, to convince anyone to get bitcoins on exchange and spend them in on-line store.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 25, 2016, 09:14:43 PM
My biggest problem with the bitcoin is that its pretty unpredictable, you never know what may happen with it these days.
I totally agree. You have to think twice, if any payment you've made today wouldn't be more/less profitable when done tommorow/yesterday etc.

Quote
I also find very annoying that the bitcoin has a very bad name because of the media, people are not using or accepting the bitcoin because of that, I think the bitcoin needs a better name to have a better future if you ask me.

IMHO biggest problem is, that most of people haven't heard anything about bitcoin. It keeps growing, but still is somewhat niche.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 25, 2016, 09:07:17 PM
Bitcoin its virtual money that can be exchanged into fiat or into some product or service we wanna to pay that workwih bitcoin, this yearbitcoin will become more popular and more  real money with openbazar.

You are right, the bitcoin is real money for me because you can do everything with it today, its not limited anymore.
Also if you think about it there is something like a credit card for the bitcoin its called e-coin you guys should look it up, you can use it for payments directly in a store, I'm not joking.

I cant pay bitcoins in the grocery on my street, nor I can't buy tickets in vendor machines in my city. Is bitcoin really not limited at all in place where you live?
