The changes sound interesting, although I kinda liked the format in its current state - you could track who the good gamblers are and maybe go through their picks while assembling your tickets. Anyhow, an extra element of risk is always supported. - What did you like most?
It was fresh and required some strategy and planning instead of just dropping random numbers hoping it hits. - What did you like least?
The 'no risk' YOLO thing. YOLO is great, but should come with risks. Having 80% of the pool out of the competition and aiming for the biggest surprise without a downside is something I didn't really like. - Did you like Rollbit.com's promo?
Of course, but I consider it your promo. If you mean the insurance promo, it was a nice one as well. - Any other suggestions for next season if there's one?
Team tournaments as a part of the pot? We create teams and collect points as a group? Sounds like fun and would probably lead to more interaction between the players.

My lucky prediction on Italy put me on a good start. I blindly picked them as I didn't see any pre-live odds on flashscore's match page and only found out just now that they're the slight underdogs in this match. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) We only have two questions left before my round against cryptofrka ends, and my hunch is that we'll end on a draw. I had Italy to win, switched it at the last second. Silly call, Italy was the best team in the tournament so far and these U-17 games rarely finish as draws. Kinda felt you'd go for Italy and was searching for differentiators that made sense, decided on this one and now I'm in a really bad spot. I don't think Croatia will score against Portugal and NBA is a cointoss. Boston is the best team in the league but they have a lot of mismatches against Dallas. I placed a 2mBTC bet on Dallas to win, meaning Boston will probably win without covering the handicap ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hey fellas,
thanks for considering me but I'm not really interested in being an arbitrary.
First off, I surely lack experience for such a role - currently time as well. Secondly, considering my position on the forum (promoter, campaign/competition manager) I'm more interested in a potential long-term cooperation with Fairlay than opposing them here - which I'd morally have to do.
That being said, I want to help you because you're clearly in the right. Even if you were a scammer whose brother is a player on the team you bet against, you're right until they prove it - and I haven't seen any proof yet. We should not tolerate withholding winnings based on hunches or '99% certainties', and the betting pattern you use is used by my friend who professionally gambles so I'm familiar with it and I don't think it's that uncommon. Professional gamblers don't bet on the Champions League, they bet on Japanese 2nd league handicaps and table tennis where it's easier to find an edge.
I've seen Fairlay's markets - for example, yesterday there was a 130mBTC pool for women's 2nd tier Brazilian football -7,5 handicap. Such markets are clearly allowed, so a player taking bets on them should never be punished.
In any case, I believe arbitration isn't the best approach anyway. Instead, I’d prefer to demonstrate to Fairlay why I feel they are in the wrong here and why I feel it's important for their long-term reputation on Bitcointalk to resolve this quickly and amicably.
I think that, if this isn't settled soon and in the right way, Fairlay risks a flag being raised against them. In the current state of events I'd have to support it and it's something I'd rather avoid.

To tell you the truth I think we were spoiled with sponsorship amounts across all pools last season. It is not realistic to expect that much ever again unless we get some new player willing to sponsor serious money on the scene.
Yep, with BTC rising significantly all pools brought huge rewards in USD value. This will again happen every few years but should not be something we take for granted. PL pool alone had something like 0.3 BTC reward pool - which is over 20k$ at current prices. ____________________________________ Let's concentrate on playing for fun and the sponsorship money will probably come - it always does one way or another.

And now for something completely different, I am gonna trust you all and put code to join the league right here in the post. You are gonna pay the buy-in fee, send me PM with your tx id and Fantasy name, and only then proceed to join the league.
You won't have any issues with this, considering that I'm trying to find how to join the league for the last 5 minutes. Yep I'm tired, yep I'm not the brightest light bulb in the room but fuck me, there should be a big red 'join leagues' button screaming at my face, right? Well, I don't see it anywhere. ______________________________ I'm usually for more paying spots, but in this case I actually support the rewards distribution.

Sorry to be dumb but what's LMS?
It's the Last Man Standing format. Will be fun, will be risky, will probably be implemented into next season's BSFL. What I meant to say that all of these make you lose interest if you start slow because you play for the top number on the screen and in BSFL the bigger joy is slamming Igebotz to Division 3 than anything else. So even if I'm out of everything, I'll still play for that joyful feeling. ________________________ I usually go for over goals, tonight's game screamed under. What to say, another wrong choice ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

You guys won in both pools, so I have to begrudgingly say you deserve it. Except cryptofrka. He doesn't deserve anything.
This was like taking candy from children. Hhampuz surprised me with that crazy pick but other than that it was mostly smooth sailing. I'll be here next year again to bully you kids around. ___________________________________ Fellas, I'm just gonna hijack buwaytress's thread a bit considering many of you are here. Trofo and myself created a Last Man Standing competition for the EUROs we think might be fun so take a look at it and join if it is something you think you might like. It uses BSFL's format which 50+ people are having fun with for over a year already, has a huge main prize and there will be good banter in the thread. We are already almost 50 players strong so come to the dark side and let cryptofrka take your moniez.

Really a shame for Djoko, he came back 2 times in a row to win in 5th set. Seems that even his body is aging after all. I think he would have won against Ruud - and then it would have been only Zverev between him and another final.
Olympic games are coming soon, I hope he fully recovers. Last time for him and Nadal?

My problem as a participant is to stop thinking like I'm betting. You look for value in betting, you look to outthink your opponent in BSFL. Not the same thing.
Yup, exactly. That's why although I feel LMS will be a huge success, I think no other format can match the longevity of BSFL. Playing for the best overall total is fun, but needing that 3 points every week in a H2H duel brings a whole new layer of randomness and suspense. 3 different answers between me and ralle14 in a game in which we both badly need the win. Considering the significance, I'll hedge my answers with some real money bets. ______________________________ All VAR's have been inserted, ping me in case yours isn't there and I'll recheck.

@cryptofrka, Koal-84 has the same answer. Since "The closest/quickest prediction wins!", I think you should edit/repost.
Will delete the post later, wasn't sure if an edit pings someone.
Thanks man! 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Under 4. Boston 5. Boston 6. Dallas 7. Dallas

@cryptofrka no need to submit anything except for fun for me right?
Yup, no need to do anything until the start of next season. You can still play for fun or challenge other people of course. Congrats on your promotion!

Well that is a pleasant surprise, so now I only have to beat B1g4udge in order to reach Division 2. I beat him earlier in the season so hopefully I do it again.
Not really, 4 of you play for 1 promotion spot so the winner goes against the winner of the entebah - Dittoup matchup. Only that one gets promoted. Previously you'd need 1 more win, so 3 in total. Tbh, the way you write those questions you don't usually have any advantage as most of them can go either way and I can only imagine how much effort is needed for something like that.
Yeah, for example bookies had Boston at -5,5 handicap. We felt it's a bit too low so went with -6,5, I would have went with them covering if it was -5,5, now I'm not that sure anymore It's just 1 point and it does sound silly, but even in these 50-50's people will think they have 5% edge somewhere because they will investigate in their way and maybe have a different conclusion. For me it's mostly always right at the 50-50 line, without that 5% edge to be found.

With the Novak Djokovic vs Francisco Cerúndolo match I hope you were able to cashout after the third set because after that it was the samething he did in the Musetti match
I did cash out, after Cerundolo's break in the 4th set. It did reduce my winnings by ~17%, but turned out to be a fantastic call considering what happened afterwards. He's got Ruud next, I think I'll be skipping that one. Đoković had 2 consecutive 5-setters and betting on Ruud might seem like a good idea, but I didn't like the way he played on RG so far. Besides, the odds aren't attractive at all - Ruud is a slight favorite.

Kraj priče. Pametnom dovoljno.

What direction do you think I programmed and where do you think I'm headed?
Bottom of the ocean? _____________________ I honestly hate that we're writing the questions. We try to find the middle ground so there are no obvious answers and most of the time I don't know what to pick because in my eyes it's all 50-50. If somebody else wrote it, they would probably change some of them so I could find an edge - but this way it's impossible. I changed my answers 3 times already, a hugely important round for me and I simply need to get it right.

I already joined the EURO 2024 Last Man Standing competition ofc. I just thought there would be an additional "regular" betting pool. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) There will be one, just not sponsored by Sportsbet. It remains to be seen who we get as a sponsor, if anybody. Considering the significance of the competition, I think there will be takers.

Make it 0.001 BTC and I'll join ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Would have supported this as well, it would make it a bit more interesting ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) This way we might get more players though, which would result in a better chance of finding sponsors. So, whoever wants to apply, do it soon. I'm in, will pay today/tomorrow.

Doesn't the autopilot usually take you to where you wanna go?
