Hi,
This coin died because nobody is mining it?
There are peopleo mining. In which pool? I tried Forkpool, but am the only one. Solo mining I guess.

200 MH/s net hashrate and diff almost 6 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I was doing some calculations and infact when GRUMP would be trading at 0.00000002BTC then you can earn pretty good money, now that they find out that it is only 20B coins, it will certainly help this coin moving up!!!! They didn't lie, so no need to do any fork, early coin owners will be a little richer then they thought, and people like me are entering this one because of less coins. We'll change to 50 Billion. I no longer think it is a good idea for our reputation to change Max amount of coins. We need to respect the original amount. I agree.

More than 100 MH/S and 4 diff.
Keep it low please, just start mining it:) Maybe mine 5000kh/s did the trick ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I donīt control the network xd

I would definitely keep it 50 billion as it was stated in the initial coin post.
But let's keep it long term, so the coin won't die.
How about such solutions (10 or 20 years of mining):
~ 10 years of steady mining
1/ 500,000 20000 10 000 000 000 2/ 250,000 20000 5 000 000 000 3/ 125,000 20000 2 500 000 000 4/ 62,500 20000 1 250 000 000 5/ 31,250 20000 625 000 000 6/ 15,625 20000 312 500 000
19 687 500 000
And after reaching ~ 20 billion coins stop halving process and keep it 15625 coins / block.
With 2.5 minutes blocks we have 576 blocks / day.
576 blocks x 15625 coins = 9 000 000 coins / day x 365 = 3 285 000 000 coins / year.
-------------------------
~ 20 years of steady mining
1/ 500,000 20000 10 000 000 000 2/ 250,000 20000 5 000 000 000 3/ 125,000 20000 2 500 000 000 4/ 62,500 20000 1 250 000 000 5/ 31,250 20000 625 000 000 6/ 15,625 20000 312 500 000 7/ 7,812.5 20000 156 250 000
19 843 750 000
And after reaching ~ 20 billion coins stop halving process and keep it 7812.5 coins / block.
With 2.5 minutes blocks we have 576 blocks / day.
576 blocks x 7812.5 coins = 9 000 000 coins / day x 365 = 1 642 500 000 coins / year.
-------------------------
Keep in mind that with today price of 1 satoshi / GRUMP one block (initial 500k coins) is worth 0.005 BTC and 250k block is worth 0.0025 BTC. But the price for GRUMPY should rise, so with ~ 25 satoshi 7812.5 coins / block would be worth 0.00195 BTC, so it should still be a good reward for new miners.
What do you think??
I like it. 10 years is enought, I guess.

Yes, I think 20 billion is even better xD, but I just want you to know this is a small issue and we can change it anytime to whatever you like.
How did you manage to count 50 billion instead of 20 at the start ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ? I think we've established that this guy is no Einstein. I'd be a lot more surprised if he had gotten it right! It's like the blind leading the blind in here and this thread is constantly in my face due to endless bumps - could you guys make your own forum or something? I really don't think you guys want people reading through this thread anyway - it's pretty embarrassing for all involved and I don't think you're attracting anybody new at this point. I'm only frustrated because the pollution in this forum is staggering and it's impossible to navigate as-is. Itīs very easy. If you donīt like this thread, donīt enter, donīt read and donīt write. We are free to talk what we want here about Grumpycoin.

I would like to know how I can buy a VPS and configure it for Grumpy
But do you want to configure at this VPS? This should be interesting for you: http://www.kimsufi.com/en/index.xml. The cheapest one should be ok. If you need help with linux PM me. I am not sure about ipv4, need to be checked. I guess I have to install Linux and run grumpy daemon. Right but SSH hardening, firewall, dedicated user for daemon will be good idea for start ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . I am a software developer so systems are not my best xd
