The motive of this thread is for us to discuss what will be you stands if online casinos charges you fees on each game you play on them, same way excahges charges you on each trading position you open, and why should excahges charges fees and casinos not charging such fees, First of all the First objective of every business is to generate revenues, so at first I wasn't curious about this, but recently I began to wonder why the difference between excahges and casinos when both have similar features which are licensing and KYC.

Something happened earlier yesterday in my area and I would like to share it here so we can discuss about it to see if something similar to this has happened to anyone here.
Earlier yesterday a dude won 15 million naira on sport bet from a betting shop closer to my area.
How it happened was that the dudes friend gave him a betting code on sport games and the potential winning amount is 15 million naira and the dude played it according without removing or adding any other games.
But what surprised me was that the guy that predicted the game would have played the game exactly how he predicted it but he added some more games and he lost his while his friend won his own (to increase the potential winning amount).
What I want to say is that it's greed that made the predictor of the game to lose his chance of winning 15 million naira instead of winning along side his friend. So have you given anyone a booking code and he won then you lose?

Well in itself, things are very Important to see from the fucking good point of view , if that's how you say, you have to maintain a Balance , but personally I am a person who will always say, some entertainment doesn't hurt, however When we are seeing that things are in a war or something, it is Obvious that there will be no Danger of them Becoming addicted , because their Mind is Something that plays very much against them, the fear , the routine , well , what a Person can go Through when they are in the army , if you have Weapons and waiting to Attack or what to do or how to defend Yourself, I think that games of chance are an outlet sometimes Necessary.

I was discussing with my friend that works in a physical casino yesterday evening. He lamented that his work environment has exposed him to gambling excessively that he hardly saves enough, if at all at the end of the month although he sees good funds from the tips he receives regularly from his clients that clinches wins. He also receives a manageable salary at month-end, but almost everything goes back into gambling.

He stressed that working in a casino exposes you to irresistible desires to gamble and you can do little about it.

I told him that it's possible to save part of the money and gamble with the rest and this was my strategy.
I asked him not to gamble until it's 6pm in the evening and by then he should divide his daily tips into five places, then go straight to a money collection point tho deposit 4/5 of the funds, then come back to gamble with the rest, he agreed to try it out from today and I'm yet to hear of his success as at now. We also agreed that he'll open a fixed deposit account where his salary goes in and remain untouched until every 6 months as his main savings since his tips are enough for his daily expenses

This got me thinking and I decided to share it here, is it not possible to work in a casino and not gamble?

I have seen this happening in at least three recent movies where main characters are refusing payment in crypto and additionally calling it scam/bullshit.
In one of the movies (can't remember the title) "hackers" told they don't want any crypto bullshit scam, they want payment in gold (LOL).

I had an argument with a friend just yesterday, who seemingly believes that Bitcoin is being controlled by a single entity and Bitcoin is not secure.
He said a lot to back his claims which although I can't remember his pin points though.
I knew once that he doesn't really know much about Bitcoin so I decided to back out of the argument.
Misconceptions like this are merely caused by lack of education (Bitcoin related) and sometimes education in general.
There even might be people in this forum who have similar misconceptions, the question is how do we tackle this misconceptions?

Buying gold is very  easy. But the problem is when it comes to selling. The process of selling gold appears to be much more complicated.
You have to find a buyer...then you have to find a buyer that will give you a good price for it. Good luck with that.

Then you have to deal with the logistics of physically delivering the gold to the buyer, how to receive payment, etc.

You and the buyer have to meet to make the exchange, which can present security issues.
But if the buyer isn't near you then you have to deliver the gold by mail or shipping service.
But does the buyer pay you first? Or do you send the gold to the buyer first? The risk of getting scammed is very high for both buyer and seller.

The risk for the buyer is how does he know he is getting real gold and not fake or diluted gold?

In the US the fastest and simplest method of selling gold is to go into your local pawn shop but who will give you less than half of what its worth and you end up losing a lot of money.

By comparison, bitcoin is extremely quick and easy to sell with a few keyboard clicks on your computer or phone app.

Many persons here never believed that bitcoin would ever go back to $50k however to everyone's suprise it didn't turn out that way (like $52k damn ) everyone seemed to have been thinking bitcoin was already past the $60k mark unfortunately it hasn't I was able  to confirm this from a couple of users including  The Sceptical Chymist (lol)

For persons who trade many would check out on charts and be of the opinion that the market is dipping to likely mitigate some fair value gaps and Order blocks left behind from the most recent bull runs.

Although the details are still sketchy (which is how they do everything), it's clear that Trump is making a big push into crypto personally.

I have sometimes been called "alarmist" in these forums because I have made predictions about what Trump would do if he wins the presidency. I predicted that Trump would introduce a competitor of Bitcoin, and then use his control of the US government to prop up his platform and pass laws to denigrate existing crypto platforms like Bitcoin.

Well, it looks like my first prediction is about to come true.

Trump already has built-in excuses to come after Bitcoin: he promises to criminalize abortion in the USA, which will require the largest police state created in the USA since the Prohibition in the 1920s (which is how the FBI was invented, for instance). Since Bitcoin and other cryptos can be used to pay for illegal abortions, it will make sense that Americans should be forced to use his "trusted" platform instead of "untrusted" ones like Bitcoin. I would like people to think about what a Trump presidency would mean to Bitcoin and crypto generally.

I shared my thoughts on this thread yesterday. And I said I have another bet is on, and I will also share it if I won the bet. Though there was a cashout of 29k on the ticket yesterday but I didn't cash it out, and I was tempted to cashout the game.
