cant wait Smiley

are you associated with one of the big payment processors ?
122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Okpay debit card - experiences on: March 12, 2013, 03:57:07 PM
Can you pay for the okpay debit card using bitcoins?

Can I only recieve the virtual card and refuse the plastic?

For as far as i can see you have to have an okpay account with a minimum account of dollars in it to buy the card.
then you can fill it up with bitcoins.
123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Okpay debit card - experiences on: March 12, 2013, 03:34:47 PM
ok, you got my attention.
can you divulge more ?

but what im wondering about:

The whole community has been calling for a bitcoin debit-card for a long time now.
and now it is here, and it seems to pass unnoticed.?
124  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Okpay debit card - experiences on: March 12, 2013, 12:43:44 PM
Hmm except for the part that i have to give them my personal information it sounds great!
but i guess they will never make a anonymous credit-card...

127  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Topic openen voor technische problemen on: March 11, 2013, 09:30:15 PM
helaas, tenzij je een kopie van je private keys hebt gemaakt kan je niet meer bij je bitcoins.
128  Economy / Service Discussion / Okpay debit card - experiences on: March 11, 2013, 03:38:35 PM
Hi everyone,

i just stumbled across the Okpay debit card and for as far as i could see it looks promising. but i have a few questions about it.
- can you fill it up with bitcoins ?
- do they need your personal data ?
- does it work just like a normal mastercard ?

What are the experiences in general with this card ?

ok thanks so much for the getting-started, once i got going it was quite easy!

I am now running a windows client that:
- gets mail out of a pop box
- gets the senders email and btc address
- send 0.001 btc to the sender
- sends the sender an email.

If anyone's interested how i did it, just let me know!

Thanks again!
Roland.

137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Want to send bitcoins from the command-line in windows on: March 09, 2013, 10:29:56 AM
Hi everyone,

i am currently working on a bitcoin-faucet-like script that sends bitcoins to selected people.
I want to let the script send bitcoins from a batch-file at specified intervals.

I have searched for a client that can send bitcoins from the command-linne in windows, but sofar i havent succeeded.
Does anyone know a good windows-based bitcoin-client that can send bitcoins from the command-line ?

Thanks!

138  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Anyone use raspberry pi with armory? NT on: March 01, 2013, 08:04:08 AM
Sounds like you're definitely headed in the right direction. THIS is the chronicle of my endeavor to create an offline wallet with Armory.
It's a tutorial that I'm working on for friends and family that are not so techie.
If you decide to read it, feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ill look into that, thanks!
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Howto ? on: March 01, 2013, 07:43:36 AM
wow somehow i am just not ready yet to get my mind around the whole ripple thing.
If someone could make a "ripple for dummies" video or something like that, that would be great.

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Howto ? on: February 27, 2013, 12:08:01 PM
Ok, maybe 2 stupid questions (because im obviously too lazy to read the ripple faq)
- Why should i use ripple
- Why should i use ripple in combination with Bitcoin ?
