Oh god dammit, the price did end up dropping. I could have sold at a higher price but I didn't want to risk stuffing around with that 18k fake sell wall.

So I went away for an hour or so, come back to see how the new difficulty is going, and I went from 3 unconfirmed CAT to 7.4 and counting. And the hashrate isn't totally out of control this time.
So far so good.

One question: what's the best exchange site to sell/buy mooncoins?
I'd say CoinedUp. CoinEx was the first exchange to add it, but CoinedUp has trade partners for MOON other than BTC. |

I'll probably mine Livecoin for a little while then switch back to CAT. I just hope Team Catcoin's PPLNS doesn't screw me over.
Actually screw it I'll come back to CAT for now. Livecoin's difficulty won't be changing for ages anyway.

Well my wallet isn't syncing for some reason. I set it up just like you would any other wallet, so not sure what's going on. yeah the dev is active said he'll raise some nodes later, I didn't get it to sync either for 3 hours. I can't even get my miners to connect to RPC. Not sure if it has to be synced for that or.. |

I know. I went to bed around 16 hours ago thinking that it would be done when I got up a few hours later, but nope, we're STILL waiting. Hashrate has tanked over the last day or two. |

Well technically I actually lost about 2 CAT lol, but yeah I'd much rather that than be stuck with less than 200 CAT total. well whenever I see a lowball sell wall I never sell because I assume that person is driving the price down for a reason and that's to buy everything bellow that price then dump higher ...
That was also my first thought, but since I'm new to 'real' trading I guess I got a little bit too optimistic. Odd, I'm normally a pessimist. But with CAT I'm actually optimistic for some reason. new ? I started mining mid-december and started to mingle with trading after cat was born ) so I'm MEGA new Same. I started with DOGE just as it hit Cryptsy, and didn't really start properly trading until CAT started taking off (and I realized how quickly I could gain - or lose - money compared to mining). Thankfully I haven't invested any fiat into this.. yet. did this get owned by multipool, re: difficulty?

We think it's a solo miner(s) with a lot of hashing power, there's an address that racks up the CAT during the lower difficulty periods and leaves even the largest pools high and dry. Multipool seems to be leaving smaller Altcoins alone for now (though that could change at any moment) and Hashcows agreed to leave us alone for a while. |

That was also my first thought, but since I'm new to 'real' trading I guess I got a little bit too optimistic (in that I thought I could benefit from the wall). Odd, I'm normally a pessimist. But with CAT I'm actually optimistic for some reason. Though I'm still worried about those huge walls closer to 60000. |

That asshole had a fake wall. I put in an order at 40000 for everything I had left and he canceled right before I could buy his coins.
I don't get it, how is someone able to stop a sale like that? Just pure chance? Man I sold at just under 37000. If I buy back in now I go from 215 CAT to a measly 198 or so. CAT will be the death of me I swear. I think from now on I'll just assume all huge walls are fake. At least I won't lose that way. |

I don't think anyone expected an 18k sell order this low.
I still think it's that ass that's been fucking up the difficulty. I mean it could just be someone that wants to get out of CAT while they can or something, but I dunno.. the timing is too perfect.
Suddenly the sell wall is gone and a 5k buy wall appears at 40000. Great, there goes 30 CAT or so. I really have to stop gambling.
Fuck it, the price will just keep dropping at this rate anyway, especially with that whale with 18k to sell. May as well just keep a buy order up in the low 30's.
