It it surprising for me tha blockchain & art events exist. I read about this Summit, this is a great opportunity for project to make people know you!

Well it shouldn't be surprising, obviously they have to promote project and meet collegues too, also they can find more investors, etc. on such events.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Codex Protocol - Decetralized Registry for Art & Collectibles on: July 13, 2018, 08:47:07 PM
Will new events dates be added? I'm interested in august's dates or later.
We don't have dates yet for August but there is a full list of events on the https://www.codexprotocol.com/ website

The next ones are

July 17th
Christie's Tech Summit: Exploring Blockchain,
London, GB

July 17th
Beyond Blocks - Summit Seoul,
Seoul, KR

July 21st
Blockchain Partners Summit,
Seoul, KR

July 24th
Nifty,
Seoul, KR

Nice plans though. Will the whole team visit events or just ceo?

I suppose part of team should stay in office to keep developing Smiley

Guys what do you think, how safe is it to store so many data on codex base?

After reading WP I'm sure my data will be good protected. What data are you talking about exactly?

First of all I should care about identification of rare items ans financial data.

Some questions still don't have answers, maybe new version of whitepaper come soon and help me Smiley usually projects update it several times.

Quite right, they might update it. However it's better to check website ans twitter for getting news and updates asap, don't wait till new wp is here Smiley

There is button named REWARDS in the first post from admins, but it doesn't work. What is it?

Hmmm. Maybe something special is coming  Huh
I got new  question. They say Codex is for art and collectibles. I would like to know is there anything special in case of buying full collection or smthg like that?

Maybe. Do mean some bonuses for the full collection? I suppose merchants will decide will you get some bonus or even discount or not.

I think it's too early to talk about discounts, I like them very much though Cheesy

Guys, what's new about mainnet launch? Is development done?

Codex Viewer is designed to enable users to register and manage assets using the Codex Protocol. For now, all assets in the registered are created manually by collectors but in the future assets flowing through auction will be provisioned automatically at the time of sale. Assets registered in the registry are called Codex Records. Each one is a unique ERC-721 token that can be created, traded, and curated all in a decentralized manner.

By default, metadata about assets registered on the protocol are private, but collectors have full control over the permissions. If the user is managing assets on behalf of a museum or gallery they may want to make everything public and available to others. The user instead could be a collector that wants to consign permissions to an auction house for a piece they are looking to sell.

Over the next few weeks of the beta, we’ll have themed days to get feedback on specific features of the application as we continue to iterate on the functionality.

Check it our for yourself here: https://beta.codex-viewer.com/#/

Great news! I'm happy to see the team follow their plan successfully. The model is very interesting, thank you for explanation!

Good afternoon, people. What do you think is the most likely to be sold on this project?

Hi there. I guess it might be books, postcards, old trinkets, painting etc. It should be Smiley
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Codex Protocol - Decetralized Registry for Art & Collectibles on: July 10, 2018, 08:14:26 PM
Hey. You are not the first to be interested in art regarding this project. What is the question?
Is it possible to trade on the platform of the project with old musical plates, guitars? What about the paintings?

Of course they can be sold. Especially if they are rare and antique Cool This is one of advantages of Codex - different types of cool things.

I think that unlike most other projects - Hashkon team prepared properly. First of all carried out research - and they will be able to make what they promise. I really hope so.
What do you mean saying about preparing?
I respect team because they chooosed this way. I heard about some projects with similar ideas, but they didn't attract me enough so I don'n follow them anymore. One more time: good luck!

As a finance project... will you collaborate with financial authorities and banks? What is your vision on this collaboration?

Of course they will, is it possible to do such work without support of authorities. Interesting what counries will support this project.

I think it will be (as usual) some european and asian countries. It's about time.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]Hashkon! World's Ist Hosted Staking Platform with Withdrawal Trust on: July 09, 2018, 02:46:04 PM
Looks interesting. I would like to read more about hosted stacking, I hear this word for the first time  Embarrassed
Same, dude Grin
I don't see what countries the platform works in. Is there list of countries? What about Asia and Australia?
Nice question. And what coutntry is Hashkon registered in? I'm glad to see some of countries register good projects through thick and thin.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Codex Protocol - Decetralized Registry for Art & Collectibles on: July 08, 2018, 08:53:58 PM
It would be great, man. Even if there are no plans for desing such option they should add it

Yeah, but remember you can meet there some old art lover lady =D It's interesting, btw, is there limitations for age of users?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Codex Protocol - Decetralized Registry for Art & Collectibles on: July 08, 2018, 08:40:08 PM
Hi all.
It is really great business. Faultless job, watchful results.

Yeah, in my opinion it is so great founders decided to work with art and antiquity. There is a big potential in this sector.

Give five, man! Some friends of mine say antiquity is so boring and anti-investment, how can they say such things... thank God there are many people who agree with you and me in here

Really? So sad. Well that means art lovers can ger more cool things via Codex Cool

I don't care though.
This made me wonder one thing. Codex's potential users (many of them) are art fans. Will there be any social net for them?

I see people start to buy tokens. How many tokens do you recommend to buy, guys? I hope they will be popular

I  mean this area (making business with arts) is cool, Art is very old, and many people love it. I think many of them would be like to join platform and buy some shares.

Yeah. I saw wonderful old piano in the house of my friend's granny, I wish I could buy the same piano (even I can't play on it Grin) on Codex.

I wonder what share options will be available for every type of item, for example: how can both of us be share holders of one piano?

I can be mistaken but maybe every owner of items can list possible variants of shared ownership?

Hi, I think there will be strict limitations and list of variants. Just imagine if someone will sell some small thing to hundreds of users.

Haha, right, it would be a weird situation. I'm pretty sure team will design the platform as customer and murchant friendly as possible.

According to unconfirmed sources, I know that half of the amount for the hard cap has already been collected

What sources? It's very promising... I prefer to trust ofiicial sources only though.

Well it can be true for sure. Wait, are we talking about hardcap, not softcap? Wow, I hope it's true then!

WP says that project is going to collaborate with hundreds of auction houses. What plans do the team have about museums?

Imagine: in few years they can collaborate even with Louvre! Although I don't know does Louvre sell items or not, but if platform will expand it could be true.
