Are you still buying via bank transfer?
122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitSimple. Looking for a dozen or so beta testers who want early access. on: January 17, 2014, 01:37:20 AM
I wish you luck. If you offer a legit exchange, it'll be nice to have another "fast" coin trading option.

By the way - your UI menu items are pretty awful. The focus effect on mouse click whites out the entire tab.

Also, your log in view is pretty bad looking, and you should probably toss a <br> or some margin-bottom beneath those H3s.

I would have just used a dialog, but I'm a dialog fan.

Front page looks very nice. Smiley

This site is a waste of time for currency trades.

No it isn't. Not at all. You just require specific forms of trade, and not everyone can meet those requirements.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any escrow service? MM? on: January 13, 2014, 02:02:26 PM
escrow.ms, TomatoCage, John K(MIA) are all popular choices.

Bitpop has been around since before there were computers on the planet, so he would be another choice.

If you feel like rolling dice, I can escrow up to 1 BTC for 1%. I'm not comfortable with amounts higher than that (until I gain trust).

I don't know what other escrow's policies are on PayPal transactions, but I don't accept them. Anyway, good luck.
125  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Want buy 200 usd worth of BTC for Paypal on: January 12, 2014, 04:25:32 PM
Your bold font is annoying.

Teamviewer is commonly used for scamming people.

PayPal is a horrible payment method unless coming from an established member of the community.

Nothing about your post is attractive to a BTC seller. I suggest withdrawing your PayPal balance to a checking account and offering a bank transfer.
126  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] Bitcoins on: January 12, 2014, 12:56:18 PM
Isn't escrow and middleman the same thing?

Don't want to be an azzhole, but.. Your reputation is negative as hell.

You can claim back money from WU.
Yeah, im badly turned when it comes to trust. THose people calling me scammers are scammers themselves most of the time.
Anyways about WU, thats why I gave options.

What middle man do you intend to use for your transactions. I'm interested.
Tomatocage

Well... That's an escrow. Smiley
127  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] Bitcoins on: January 12, 2014, 01:46:17 AM
I'm still interested in where this potential shill middleman is coming from. Because frankly, anyone who doesn't use a legitimate escrow (if they demand escrow) is just... off.

Hey guys, I am looking to buy some bitcoins.
I can pay via Western Union, Amazon Gift Card, MoneyPack, PayPal, and US Bank Transfer
I currently want to buy 10 BTC and I am looking to buy it in as little batches as possible <10 transactions

Terms: I will not go first, you can be the freaking president, I dont care, I am not getting scammed... Not again
All sales a final, no refunds.
I do not use escrow, I use a middleman.

What middle man?

Also, you realize that your Trust is literally all red, right?

You guys realize that all you have to do is dispute the PayPal transaction and/or file a Chargeback. They'll close his PayPal eventually.

This is why I don't send payment first. Ever. EVER.

Please advise how I am a PayPal scammer? You are the scammer - you have NO trust on the forum and expect me to send first? I offered to use Escrow for a different payment method? How very childish you are.

see? he calls me a scammer when he wants me to send first, that is typical scammer talk.
MODS NEED TO BAN HIS IP OR I WILL REPORT TO THE CYBER POLICE!!

I mean, there's nothing wrong with not sending first to someone in a deal. We all agree with that. But a reputable escrow? You DO send first to those people. That's what they are there for.

Also, let's say that you don't trust ANY escrow (which basically means you won't do any business with anyone serious). You get so pissed off and start saying random nonsense about mods banning IPs. That's just... off. Tongue
138  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JBWashington scammer on: January 10, 2014, 12:05:28 AM
Okay.

There is no blockchain transaction of 0.2 BTC (Or any number near that amount) in the lifetime of that wallet address.

Now this is the part where you blame BTC-e.

139  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy BTC,LTC -Paying Neteller,Paypal,Skrill,PM,WMZ,WU. on: January 09, 2014, 08:54:57 PM
Do not do any business with bank24h.vn or dr.exchanger (not to be confused with dr-exchanger). He is a professional scammer and is going around scamming community members. I learned it the hard way!!

User was reported to board admin with the proof of his scam. Waiting for him to get the scammer tag

Please report any new thread created either to me or put a scammer mention in the newly opened thread to protect others.
dont spam my topic. pls show proof

Believe me I will spam all your thread until you get the scammer tag or refund my BTC. There is no way I will allow any one like you to get away with stealing BTC from others.

You know what you did and I gave you multiple opportunities to come out clean and refund me. You preferred not to follow up and continue scamming others!

You are the very worse type of scumbags and do not deserve to be part in the bitcoin community!

Most likely he won't get a scammer tag. I've been reading that they don't really give those out any more (unless it's an extreme case).

Your best bet will be to make a scam accusation thread and post all relevant information you can find on this person. Any alts (Along with proof or evidence pointing towards alts), docs, usernames, e-mail addresses, etc.

And for the love of God, don't send BTC to some random person with poor English up front. Escrow or work out another method of doing a transaction (like with another person).

How can we get him the "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" trust tag?

That tag is due to someone on in your Trust network (or one of the default Trusted users) giving him negative Trust. You can contribute to that by giving him negative Trust as well. Any one who has you in their Trust network will see the negative Trust you've provided as more pronounced (purdy font).
