hey guys, is the Mac OSX wallet broken? LMK thanks, downloading for the first time & it keeps going between 1 to 0 connection and stuck on block 0

Downloaded Mac client 45mins ago and I have 1 active connection and it's syncing, about 1/4 done so far.

Was a little confusing since all the download links from their website have been removed from Mega, yet the links in threat OP seems to be good (and where I downloaded mine from).

Ethereum Wallet blockchain data is taking up nearly 60GB on my system SSD which is becoming a problem. How do I move it to a different drive or is there a lightweight wallet comparable to Multibit HD?

I have coins in a v2.0 Mac wallet I haven't touched in a couple years. Unclear if these are "v3.0" coins or what. Wallet won't sync.

How do I move them to v4.0 wallet before deadline?

Hey AdamT - I responded via PM. Thanks.

Great thank you, and yes that is the correct balance.

Trying to get my old coins onto the new blockchain/wallet...pls help. I have my old Noble wallet (Mac v.1.0.0.0) up and running for the first time since mid-2014. Out of sync obviously and not syncing.

I have 947 transactions.

Trying to export private keys to move coins into new wallet. How do I do this?

Is there a Mac wallet with latest version? Couldn't find it and emailed Noble website contact last week with no response. Devs active?

Also, what is PoW vs PoS regarding the wallets? like I said, haven't been around here for awhile. Thx.

Do we have an ETA on v3.0.3 Mac wallet? Tried running v2.0.0 and nothing is syncing "no block source available". Last time I synced was March 2014...

Just so that you people know I was owed $40,000 by bitmine and yesterday I got my mining contract (36 TH/s) and have my account setup.

LOL. Sounds like a paid Bitmine shill. These scammers don't return emails AT ALL. Paid for a miner ($5k) received nothing whatsoever. No refund as requested. Zero communication. Fucking scammers.
131  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: October 02, 2014, 10:51:38 PM
Finally Bitmine admits to me that they have serious financial problems!

I accepted their offer just to get at least some of the BTC back that I have paid to them...

Hello

We have not forgotten you!
Due a huge amount of e-mails we beg your pardon for the late answer.

As you maybe already noticed the Bitmine AG remains in serious financial trouble and can not continue the repayments. The registered Refunds are too numerous to treat all requester equivalent.

At the moment we are trying to achieve an amicable agreement with our customers and hope that it can be accepted by most of them.

In this regard, we kindly ask you to take in consideration to convert the refund amount in cloud mining. Essentially, 1 USD paid by you can be converted into 1 GH/s of the new product, the cloud mining.
This for the chosen mining period as mentioned in our link http://bitmine.ch/product/cloud-mining-hosting-plans-bitcoin/.
If you do accept the offer, we will set up and enable the cloud Mining for you.

The product of cloud-hashing replaces the formerly offered / supplied Miner and will help you not only to get more than four times the power originally purchased, but also the running costs will be much lower.

More information is available on the website: http://bitmine.ch/product/cloud-mining-hosting-plans-bitcoin/

We ask that you inform us about your opinion.
In the meantime, we remain

Best regards

Thanks for your interests in our products.

Customer Service
Bitmine AG

I can't even get this out of them...  I send a polite email every few weeks asking for an update and asking to resolve the issue by a cloud contract.  Emails sent in the last couple of months have been completely ignored.

Asking and asking to work with them to resolve my order, like you I would settle at this point for a cloud contract to try and recoup as much of my ass as I can.   But they won't even respond to a reasonable person trying to work with them...  All the while difficulty sky rockets and my returns continue to diminish by Btimines actions/inactions.

Same here. These muthafuckers don't give me any reply whatsoever. I hope these scammers burn in hell, complete damn amateurs on the lower level. God damn, we were idiots for sending them our money. Consider it gone forever. "A fool and his money will soon be parted." Out $5k here.

Has anyone received a refund recently ? via bitcoin or wire transfer ?

I would like to hear if Bitmine is actively trying to refund customers money.
I received a letter acknowledging my refund request on June 6th , 2014 for order #4036

They owe me approximately 6 BTC

Your 6 BTC are forever theirs and you will never get it back. Sorry to break the news. I've been waiting since April, with basically zero response from them. No emailed returned at all, no updates on my refund, nothing. Called many times, finally got annoyed being blatantly lied to over and over again. "2 weeks" and "2 weeks" it's just all bullsh*t. Worst company ever.
133  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: August 08, 2014, 02:13:28 PM
I was promised refund by mid September the 30th of June and this is the latest info received 30th of July

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

all refunds date given are holding their schedule, as the datacentre is still on schedule and the BTC value keeps being over 500$ I have no sign or reports that the refund dates given should not hold.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

Lol there is no refund "schedule" it's all just made up. Sept will of course come and go with no one getting refunds (I've been waiting since APRIL). Then they will spout off some new nonsensical future date that will come and pass as well. Liars period. No one's getting refunds, they stole all the money and did god knows what with it. Probably strippers & hookers.
134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: July 28, 2014, 05:05:10 PM
83 weekdays... since confirmation of refund request.

And still no sign of a refund..

Every time I have called Kerim he keeps telling me 2 weeks later..

I'm a September order /facepalm.

I called two weeks ago and I was ~#12 in refund queue...

Huh

Same here, requested refund April 1st! Anything they say via phone "support" is a lie and a pathetic attempt to buy time so customers get strung along as long as possible.

Kerim is a bold faced liar, and being paid to lie with our money, nothing he says is true.

They give ZERO updates to customers waiting for refunds, no answers returned via email. How can you run a business like this?? Scum bag fraudsters.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DOPE] DopeCoin - Heartbleed conquered! Digishield performing perfectly! on: July 24, 2014, 04:55:18 AM
Just checked Dopecoin price first time in awhile. 3 f'in satoshis??? Wtf happened? I bought some at 400!
136  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: July 22, 2014, 07:12:07 PM
After all the scam bitmine did to me (late delivery, reduction of the compensation, selling my hardware to others, ...) I finally rejected all hardware from them and asked for refund. They told me I need to wait 30 days to get my money back .. wtf .. no matter what, 49 days are over, still no money back. They even do not respond to any email any more. Really bad, seems like my money is lost. Again (Virtual Mining Corp did the same thing to me)!

for those who care:
order-numers: 3339 & 4645 (payed with bitcoin)

30 days lolololololololz, been waiting since April 1st STILL no wire refund even though promised "you'll get it in 2 weeks" 2 weeks later "you'll get it in 2 weeks...blah blah" rise & repeat. Scammers keeping our money, lying on phone when you call. F*ck these people seriously DO NOT buy anything from them.
137  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: July 09, 2014, 12:58:38 PM
They wrote everybody to be refunded in September and October. This is bullshit again. They will say in autumn that you have to wait again (they will cry a river also and bla bla bla) or you can change to the bought price for the new machines. BFL did the same scam last year for their clients.

Dear Bitmine.ch!

No client asked for your investment (warehouse)! Nobody cares of this! You hold our money for your project which you break the law in many points.

We didnt buy in your warehouse project we paid for the machines which you havent even shipped in time nor send back the refunds according to the contract what you agreed as well.

How many more rules do you want to break?

Who do you expect to buy your shit in the future? Why do you think if you will establish a new company in the future to try to scam the ppl again in another name nobody will check its background?

and why do you think that your current company is in secure...?

This. Just refund my damn money like you promised. I did not agree to be an investor in your data center or whatever the fuck you're doing.
138  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: July 07, 2014, 11:09:04 PM
Bitmine is one of the WORST crypto "hardware" companies ever. On the same level as BFL. Scammers, whether deliberate or forced into it by bad business planning etc, they have stolen my money even though I filed for a refund APRIL 1ST! No refund wire ever received.

Blowing smoke up my ass via phone support, "You have been submitted to the refund pile, blah blah blah...." Just completely lying to my face, "your refund will be in 2 weeks" then 2 weeks later "Just 2 more weeks" blah blah, just complete bullshit. Karim, yes I'm calling you and your overlords out....telling you to lie to customer's faces. Why lie when you could just be frank and level with me? Then give ZERO updates, basically just leave people hanging in the dark with no answers whatsoever. If you knew about blowback, you'd know that lying and hiding in the shadows just antagonizes and pisses off the customer more.

You DO NOT treat customers this way unless you have absolutely ZERO concern that your pissed off customer will come to this forum or where ever and tell the facts, painting them in a aptly deserved bad light. This is not the way you run a business and retain customers, much less get new ones. Scammers, liars and thieves period.
139  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 29, 2014, 12:19:22 PM
Not that it will do any good whatsoever, but has anyone been able to get through via phone? I sit on hold burning money 10 mins or more then hang up with no answer. Beyond frustrating. Order #2833 send me my god damn refund, it's been 60 days since requested and approved wtf!

Does anyone know which police department resides over Bitmine's location? http://polizei.ch/en

140  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 28, 2014, 01:42:14 PM
My refund is now 60 days from when it was "approved" (whatever the f*ck that means...). No wire. No emails returned. They do not answer the phone. How goddamn hard is it to send a wire? I sent my wire to them back in Nov and it went through the same day.

Never delivered a miner, not even close to being on time. Stole my money.

F*ck these people, seriously. Anyone have lawsuits filed yet?
