121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 06, 2021, 08:44:25 PM
Innovation is very important in the life of any project and as such any coin, this is because a project with a good and innovative team will always keep growing and the more it grows, the more it comes more valuable; this is just the case with Binance Coin. If you also check closely, you will see that Binance CEO is now more active on twitter, promoting his platform as well as all other good projects based on Binance smart chain, because he knows that, the more these projects under his Smart chain performs well, the more they contribute to the growth of BNB.
Therefore I have the same thought that, as Binance exchange is taking every possible opportunity serious, supporting other projects, BNB coin burn, improving on their services and so on, BNB will reach $1k, it is just a matter of time.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Holo(HOT)? on: May 05, 2021, 07:33:35 PM
Although I have once heard about HOT but I have not seen much news or updates about their developments (although I might be wrong) when compared to other projects which are always in spotlights of the crypto community. You know one of the things that attracts more investors to a project is how well the team updates their community about their developments that is to say how active their social media accounts are.
Also, irrespective of what you have read and seen, do well to check the projects telegram group and if possible engage the team with some of the things  you have read about them to ascertain their level of seriousness towards the long term growth of their project.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Chainlink worth to invest? on: May 05, 2021, 07:20:32 PM
Some people said that dogecoin is better than chainlink. Does chainlink worth to invest?

This is funny in a kind of way, because I see it that people are comparing both coins in terms of price in which Dogecoin is growing bigger because of hype. But when it comes in term of development and features Chainlink is far ahead. Therefore, all I can say is, if you are after hype which of course drives price for Dogecoin and you are as well ready to take risk with since it has pumped well, then you can go ahead with Dogecoin. But if you are after a use case which will last long term then Chainlink should be good. When investing, it's always good to define what you want, hype which goes for quick profit as well as risky as it might dump or good use case which will last long term. So yes, Chainlink is good for investing.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At $7.5 Dogecoin will be more valuable than BTC on: May 04, 2021, 10:33:23 PM
The way most people analyse the crypto space is funny atimes, some will even analyse it to fit their desire or wishes, it's not a crime to dream and wish but it is also good to be realistic so that you don't expect much and ends up disappointed. What I am trying to point out is that, Doge coin has been growing because of hype which everyone understands but comparing it to Bitcoin in terms of growth or even saying it will become more valuable or let alone attaining such high prices is far from being realistic. Institutional investors are busy buying Bitcoin because of its utility and long term potential but such can't be said of Doge. Even Ethereum which is the second top coin can't even beat Bitcoin let alone Doge. So in all aspects or rather to cut the whole story short, Doge coin is far from achieving all these you are saying, because just as Doge is growing so will be Bitcoin, Ethereum and so on.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 04, 2021, 10:09:00 PM

There will be nothing like the next Doge, Doge is Doge and any other that tries to be like it will hardly have the growth that Doge has witnessed nor the type of community Doge has, don't be even surprised that the developers of such "next Doge projects" will only result to cashing out on investors because they will use the hype of Doge to achieve their aims. However, what I know is that, there are a lot of potential coins in the crypto space, there are also a lot of opportunities, but the main question still remains which is, are you willing to hold for long term even if the project faces challenges which might crash the price; this is somewhat the nature of Doge coin.
Therefore, in waiting for the next Doge do well to research the type of team the project have and if at all it will last long term, and if all ticks for you, then it's left for you to hold and meet your target.

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: May 02, 2021, 06:52:31 PM

To be frank, crypto might be valuable than gold not now nor in the future. The reason is this, gold is highly valuable right from time immemorial, many government of the world as well as many top organisations do not joke with it that is to show you how much of a value it has.
There is no doubt, crypto is valuable and as time goes on, the value will increase but also know that, the volatile nature of crypto will always make people use assets like gold to hedge their funds. Don't also be surprised to see people who will make profit from crypto and invest in other offline assets including gold, because most see crypto just like money while gold is an outstanding asset.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning of cryptocurrency on: May 02, 2021, 06:46:35 PM

Burning of cryptocurrencies or token/coin burn as it is mostly called is a process whereby a certain amount of the token or coin of the platform is removed from the total supply of that coin or token in question thus reducing the supply. Normally, most times this is used to drive hype which in turn drives up the price but nowadays it doesn't do much except if the coin or token is from a reputable platform.
About the address where the coin or token is sent to, the address belongs to no one, meaning any cryptocurrency sent there is lost forever. Since it belongs to no one, no one have access to it, because if it's accessible then it defeats the purpose of the coin/token burn.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: May 01, 2021, 09:39:47 PM
By the end of 2020, along with the strong growth of Bitcoin, some people used the trust of many to scam.
For example:
- Create virtual projects,
- Create virtual tokens,
- Create an investment website for the purpose of calling for investment,
- Create an airdrop that calls for people to deposit fees to pay tokens
- ....
Everyone should be careful when participating in projects like that.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for bringing it up again. This has been said many times but most times, people are blinded by greed that they throw caution to the wind and do what they feel is right and at the end, got scammed. Let me start with airdrop, it is meant to be given freely so far the participants have done the required tasks expected of them, but once the team directly or indirectly demands for small Eth or BNB for gas fee in order to send the participants their tokens, then it is a red flag and will possibly be a scam.
Another is investment platforms which offers high reward which are of course very attractive, such that once the greedy person comes in contact with the platform, he will be forced to invest.
Let's just try our best to explore about the right thing and do it always without feeding scammers every now and then.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we create our own Alt coin and what's stopping others from creating it? on: May 01, 2021, 09:32:35 PM
I'm curious how all these works. If I were to create my own altcoin similar to how Dogecoin was created, how do I go about doing so and what's stopping others from creating their own altcoin? Is Legal a factor or are there any other issues that might be stopping others from creating it?

To begin with, there are many articles online or even videos which can help one create a token, but you should know that, creating a token is one thing and attaching value to it is another. Also, many projects which turned out good has been copied by others, in most cases they do well so far hype is attached to the project while in some case they don't.
A good example is Dogecoin; when the hype got much, many developers started creating their own similar coins which of course they likened it to be the next Dogecoin thus creating hype and driving the price up, but what later happens is that, once Dogecoin is up, the others will follow suit and once it's down they will follow as well.
Lastly, one of the things which can stop people from copying a project and creating theirs is the work, coding etc involved.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: May 01, 2021, 09:25:22 PM
as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

so do you agree with me if Binance will be the next Ethereum? or are you thinking of anything else?

First thing first, every project is unique in their own way, and this is what has made a lot of good projects to last long term. Binance offers an exchange platform which has turned out to be the best, Ethereum on the other hand is known as the best smart contract platform, which has made it last till today, and if you check, many platforms are copying Ethereum in other to build theirs. In the same way, when a project have no unique features to offer, it will crash within a short time. Therefore to answer your question, Binance can not replace Ethereum or can it be regarded as the next Ethereum, because Ethereum is unique and Binance don't have what it takes to beat it.
Also, it's true that Binance has been growing till date, but was Ethereum left out? No, as well as other ERC tokens which of course are growing.
Therefore, I believe it all comes down to offering something good to the community which will make them value the platform.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: April 30, 2021, 09:42:50 PM
In as much as I agree with you, but I must say that so far, the market has surprised a lot of people even making most analyst looks as if they don't know what they are analyzing. Most people never imagined the market will grow to such extent but take a look at everything, most coins hitting ATH and so on. Therefore, I think in as much as we are being careful and not to be carried away the market can still go on to surprise everyone. Another angle is, many institutional investors are now involved which is quite different from the past market era, and with more coming into play means more growth will be witnessed. I might be mistaken but I think there are more holders now who believes in crypto more than ever coupled with the endless promotions and adverts thus attracting more people.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wrong? on: April 30, 2021, 09:33:48 PM

First and foremost, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that makes them right in their own sense, and in such case it takes a lot of work and proofs to change their mindset. I believe many were against Bitcoin in the early days but as time goes on, when they have understood how important Bitcoin is as well as the role and place it holds in the future, they tend to change their mindset and started getting involved as soon as possible. Gates is a billionaire and knows what he want and such case it might be difficult to proof him wrong even though Bitcoin has changed a lot of people's beliefs, but I tend to think he might have changed his mindset.  Elon musk on the other hand, is an innovative person reason why it won't be too difficult for him to understand Bitcoin and so on. They are all right because they know what they want.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin high fee has brought dogecoin to limelight on: April 30, 2021, 09:22:46 PM

Well, I beg to differ. I don't really buy the idea that the reason why Dogecoin has been growing is because it is proving to be a more better option than Bitcoin.
Let me ask, who knows about Dogecoin or even paid attention to it before Elon musk started hyping it? Only few people were holding Dogecoin and because hype is very needed and important in the crypto space, people started bagging it because with a little hype, the price grows and they bask in profits; that is to say, people are only holding Dogecoin because of the immediate profit they are seeing and if Elon musk stops hyping it, that might be the end.
No coin can compete with bitcoin when it comes to begin important and/or relevant in the crypto space, Ethereum haven't done so let alone Dogecoin.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt season NOw on: April 28, 2021, 07:42:42 PM
As per the all the researches. Now commenced the Alt Season. Lot of giant youtubers , Websites indicates that alt season started.

I also personally believe that April for ALT. What is your experiences and view about this ?

The fact is, Bitcoin keeps having a field day with the market and thus making it somewhat difficult for altcoin season to be in full effect, that is, Bitcoin always shows it's the king, dominates the market and so on. But however, it is also good to know that Bitcoin dominance keeps reducing which then point to the fact that sooner than later, altcoin season will be in full force. Also, it is good to bear in mind that, one needs to be careful of the altcoin he bags as scammers won't fail to use the opportunity to bring in scam tokens and if proper care and due diligence is not adequately taken, many people will likely fall into their trap. Therefore, in as much as we are waiting for altcoin season, let's endeavour to hold good coins.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens all the way on: April 28, 2021, 07:37:58 PM
It's a good time to take some risk with exchange tokens, remember that exchanges tokens are more capable too when bull is alive, last month WazirX, a crypto exchange project that no one is talking about was at 0.08$ and now it's 4$, some are already underestimating ToKOcrypto, another exchange token from binance again, though this isn't a financial advice but how can we change our lives for good if we don't take some risks?

That is true and I agree with you. Exchange tokens are some tokens which shouldn't be overlooked because of what they goes with, that is, in as much as the exchange in question is a good exchange whose team are really ready to move it to the next level, then buying and holding it, will be a good idea. At the same time, it is very good to know what not all exchange tokens are meant to be held for long term, that is, there are exchanges which lacks what it takes to last long term and through holding such tokens, the user will only end up wasting his time and money. So in all ramifications, holding a good exchange token is very good and a good idea as well, Binance and Kucoin coins are good examples.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: January 30, 2021, 07:01:09 PM
This is just one country and therefore I do not think it will cause a big problem because more people are now interested in Bitcoin and the growth over the months has shown more institutional investors are highly interested now. However, one can still recall that for a long time now, they have tried passing some bills, they have created different scenarios which still at the end didn't work out, therefore it might not still work out again, although one cannot really predict the future. Also, in my own opinion, they might only bring more regulations as banning Bitcoin will not really help them not now that many people are seeing how outstanding it is and the potentials it offers.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 20 oz of Gold today on: January 30, 2021, 06:50:26 PM
Gradually Bitcoin has successfully created a lasting impact in the world, such that when people sees it, they liken to other valuable assets, and who would have thought that one day, Bitcoin will be worth such price, and with a brighter future ahead still have more room to grow even more. However, irrespective of the value of Bitcoin, Gold will still continue to retain its value and worth in the sight of people and government, that is, most people don't joke with their gold materials and the government don't joke with their gold reserves, this is to show the extent Gold has reached over the years. However, holding or investing in both is still a good idea, as both of them will continue maintaining their worth as days goes by, although Gold seems to have an upper edge owing to its price stability.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has been targetted once again? on: January 30, 2021, 06:36:46 PM
I think this is part of the market now, that is, we have seen all these for quite a number of times, both the Media and government etc, can spread any news they want just create an impression which doesn't make sense, and also, from time immemorial till now, they have been sharing all these bad news and yet Bitcoin was  able to reach a new ATH that is enough to tell them that Bitcoin value is far beyond what they can just bring down or control. In the same way, I think people who have gone a long way with Bitcoin should understand by now that Bitcoin has come to stay and no matter what anyone says, or do it will still be here and will keep surprising them.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $50k by the end of 2021? on: January 29, 2021, 07:40:12 PM
To be frank, a lot of people are still yet to understand what happened and how Bitcoin was able to grow to such price despite the pandemic and the more they wonder, the more it keeps getting better. Nevertheless, no one can say or predict correctly the price Bitcoin will reach by end of the year, it could be more than $50k or less, but I think it would be hard to dump badly mostly now institutional investors are still Keeping their attention on it, and even the price range for some days now can also attest to that fact.
However, my own opinion is that, there is every possiblity we will witness another ATH for Bitcoin because so far, the crypto space has been booming with more investors, more attention, more activities, more growth for many coins and so on, that is to say, Bitcoin being the top coin will most likely continue to grow.
