I tend to agree with you, this bull run is a long ways off yet. No point thinking otherwise. People have been calling bull runs for the whole year, stating every bit of "news" is going to spark some kind of reversal. If it was that easy we would all be millionaires. I think latter half of next year!

I think they are only really profitable in the long run now, as many are struggling to reach softcaps even. Still some amazing tech being released

I just dont see the confidence in the market as there was this time last year, not out of the woods yet

If you were not afraid you would not be human, just ensure you use a cold storage wallet such as a ledger. I would avoid trezor as I have heard of bad updates which have resulted in people losing crypto.

They fluctuate based on the volume of sales and purchases on exchanges, when there are more buyers the price goes up and buyers battle for prices and the reverse occurs for selling when there is a high sell volume the price goes down. Markets are fluid and constantly change, this is natural

I am extremely selective when it comes to ICOs, there are far too many scam projects an/or bad projects out there which will never succeed. Research is your friend in this space

I would say there is a degree of bias, but in general, they do some great reviews and give great detail. I personally like to do my own research and steer clear of them as to not be "influenced" so it depends on what kind of investor you are really. I would not dump 10k into a project based on a review of somebody else, I would have to check out all the details myself.

Everyone made money in 2017 when they invested in ICOs because good gains were possible, then naturally everyone jumped on board and wanted a piece of the pie and now we are here. Only the good projects will succeed and it is becoming hard for projects to raise capital.

This is only the beginning of crypto, we are a long way off mass adoption, but we are very lucky to be part of this at an early stage. The technology advancements occurring in this space are evidence enough that this is here for the long haul

I agree 100%, what a bounty hunter does with their earned "money" is their own business. People need to stop blaming others for their investment mistakes.
|
|
|
I think a lot of people just had no option but to hold, as most were caught off guard, its a hard thing to sell for a loss especially if you are long-term minded on the projects you invest in. Not everyone is here for short-term gains

|
|
A strategy which has worked very well for me is to just buy coins I like and hold and don't watch the markets. I have held a huge portfolio through this year and still don't care as I see the long-term potential
|

I would stay away from them like the plague. Always only a very few winners in such schemes. Even in this space the risk does not justify the potential reward

Being honest with you, I don't think bitcoin will ever be used. I do agree that other cryptocurrencies with more scalable blockchains/transactions speeds will work but these will be a few years off yet. I think blockchain technology appeals more so to platform use for now, and in time will make the transition to payments on a large scale.

Hey there, I would suggest Binance or Kucoin. Both have a huge selection of altcoins and both have very high trading volumes. They are also very easy to use. Just make sure whatever you use has a high volume as you dont want trades taking ages to go through

Large scale roll out of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will occur in these kinds of countries first, just look at south America-Venezuela. I believe these countries will benefit more

Bitcoin was originally conceptualised during the world economic crash as a means for transfer of value between people of all classes, without the need for a central government. However as we all know now, "whales" or large investors control a lot of the bitcoin supply, so an argument could be made it has not worked

Most of these airdrops are little more than worthless attempts to derive value into a token. I don't see why I need to provide personal information to be awarded free tokens. I value my identity over most cryptos

You can lead sheep to water but cannot teach them how to drink. Unfortunately, this space is not suitable for novice investors, the masses will come eventually, but not until regulations are in place

Looking at this comment now, you must be happy with your prediction, however not quite dead just a nice natural retrace from a parabolic growth wave in the latter quarter of last year. All natural market movement
