Hi milthon, do you remember what pair you changed? It usually happens when you modify the API array. Anyway, try to compare your settings with the original (the one that comes when you download the miner) and see what's missing. Or just replace it with the new one and just add your customs.

Yes, consider that Webchain didn’t have any ICO or crowdfunding campaign. Our chances to keep developing this project come from those premined coins. We’ve set lock-in dates for those premined coins, have a look at the time distribution:

5% - available in 2018 (part of it might be used as airdrops in another project to promote Webchain);
20% - available from early 2019;
30% - available from early 2020;
45% - available from early 2021.

Your question can have two answers,

1) If you mean whether webchain-miner is the CPU miner to mine WEB, then it is. Just install the right version according to your OS.

2) If you are asking about browser-based mining, our devs are working on the integration with http://coinimp.com so WEB can be mined via websites.

We have never said it is GPU-resistant, we always say that there are no GPU miners for the coin and that it won't make a big difference to use one, considering the proficiency of CPU mining.

We've discussed before how unnecessary it is to create a GPU miner for webchain. It's not profitable compared to the CPU mining results.
