It is dangerous, because you can literally lose all your money in one day. Not like it could not happen in other investment types, but happen more often here I guess.

There are different factors, you need to consider. If you are a newbie, than it might be better to buy stable coins, like Bitcoin, or other TOP10 coins, and do not be afraid, if the prices go down a bit, it is a volatile market.
I realized sometimes in myself as well, that when prices are going up, it is hard to get out, because of the feeling, what if it even go upper. Typical FOMO in the crypto market.
It was definitely a good idea to wait until Bitcoin fell to 6000$. This might be the time to not get too greedy, in the hope it goes even lower, and buy some now.
We could not trade Bitcoin than, so it probably would be the end of Bitcoin. But I guess the whole ecosystem would crash than, so we crypto fans would not be the only ones, feeling the negative effects.

There are some good websites, where you can look for the bounty campaigns available. ICODROPS is a good alternative. Try to find nice projects, and than consider which tasks you could do.
You learned the lesson, some people may not be that lucky. We have to find the right time, when dealing with cryptocurrencies, and probably the job, or a holiday are places, when we should avoid it.
Daily trading is for real fanatics, while long-term holding is for those, who want to focus other things, but still want to put the money in a nice investment. Understand both sides.

Not too difficult to realize, that in most cases, it would effect negatively to the price of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not "global disaster friendly" IMO
Ethereum is still the cryptocurrency, which is used by more than 80% of ICO-s. Just because the price goes down a bit, it is not even close to dead.
My country is not restricted in any ICO, so I do not mind to do a KCY. I know they are not doing it just for fun, it has legal reasons usualy.
Both of them are nice, and stable coins, for a newbie however, I would recommend to buy Bitcoin, as that is the most widely known, and probably easiest to buy.
The number of ICO-s are growing rapidly, there are about 4 every single day, while it was "only 1" daily a year ago. So sure, the number of worthless projects are increasing too, but neither should we forget about the new technology innovations, which are also keep coming.
When you choose a bounty campaign, it worth to take some time to compare, how much you can earn from the different ones. I know, it is not an easy task, as there are many information missing, such as how many participants will be, how much the ICO will be able to raise. But an even more important factor is the qualty of the ICO IMO, you can calculate a good earning according to the ICO price, but if the price drops immediately after hitting the exchanges...

I am very bullish in platforms, such as Cardano, IOTA, and the fresh ones, Zilliqa, and EOS. Surely, we will need a significant market sentimel change for these to outperform Bitcoin.
It is positive, that there is so much freedom in this market, and competition has also nice effects. On the other hand, surely for people got scammed, it can be very negative.
According to your calcualtion, you would make a 3,5X, within 1 year, which is totaly possible. But to calculate as a stable, monthly income, I guess you should forget about this. There was Bitconnect, and other scam sites offering this earnings, now they all dissapeared with the people's money. Crypto market is nice, promising, but not that much calculable IMO.
You have written good points in favour of taxes. But on the other side, we are all from different countries, and I can understand people getting dissapointed in their governments, the level of corruption is just crazy in some parts of the world.
It may worth to wait a bit more, to see what happens. But the signs are good. Just like the chance of some price growth as well. Hope 6000 become an "all time low" level from now.
I actualy saw the exact opposite too, borrowing money from bank, with a real estate coverage, to buy Bitcoin. Risky idea, would not dare to do it personaly
