First off, I'm not sure if you actually know buff. However, your ban reason was initially 24 hours (now permanent). Your ban was due to asking the same questions over and over again, even after we had informed you multiple times what had gone on. You have since been paid (hours ago), and yet are still complaining and bringing up irrelevant information.

Also, it seems you have teamed up with Buff as you were both banned and wish to spread FUD. I know you were a slightly active miner. We've informed our community that they should not trade with others due to security reasons as well as not knowing the value of the price based on supply/demand. However, if you were going to buy coins - there's a ton of people selling 1M UPX for way cheaper than $3,000 in #trading. It appears as though you have tunnel vision. You don't take well to criticism. When we politely ask of you to abide by the rules, multiple times.. you instead insist on continuing to disrespect out teams time and effort.

As for buff, he was knowingly (and admittedly) exploiting a vulnerability (since patched) with our difficulty algorithm. I think these images speak for themselves:

After being banned, comes back with a mature response:

My response: You try DDoSing the NSA, or hacking a bank and stealing money. Once you get caught, explain to them how you only did it to show them they had a vulnerability, and that you helped them fix it. You abused the vulnerability on four separate occasions with precise timing. You knew exactly what you were doing.

And lastly,

Cheers

Beta mine closes on the 24th, its 25th now. It's still ongoing?

As per our announcement on Discord, Facebook, Twitter, and Bitcointalk: We have extended the beta mine up until December 1st. We decided there's no reason to put a pause on the mining momentum for 7 days. So we will transition straight from the beta mine to the codebase release.

Cheers!

I got the same errors when i tried to use my original keys.
So now i have two addresses. Please provide a way to send money from
the first one to the second one or to unify them somehow.

The keys generated via the airdrop and the webwallet use the exact same code. As long as you have a 25 mnenomic keyphrase provided from the airdrop dashboard, you will have access to your airdrop funds (and mining funds if you pointed your miners towards said address).

For those running into any errors logging in, I would recommend trying a different browser (Firefox, or worse case scenario: Chrome)

Regarding the sweeping, yes - we will need to add a sweep_all function to the webwallet for those with significant amounts of UPX. We may also use transfer_split. As for now, you will have to send multiple smaller transactions instead of singular transactions > 100K UPX.

Thanks for the info. This time I managed to enter my original wallet.
However, when i tried to send all to a new one i got:

Something unexpected occurred when submitting your transaction: Error: Something unexpected occurred when submitting your transaction: Error: Reason not given by daemon. A guess is 'Failed to check ringct signatures!'.

That's currently a small bug we've not quite had the time to work out yet. If you receive that error, try pressing send again - and the payment should go through.

Cheers!

While I understand, that mining is only beta, and thus it is difficult to answer without delay such an easy question, if our mined coins will be safe, now I see another glitch: for several hours, pool blocks are adding up, my hashes are adding up, but my "total due" stays the same. This is probably the reason of total network hashrate drop, isn't it?
I am burning my electricity and capacity to this and I am not sure, if I should continue mining now.

The total due takes time due to the PPLNS system. You should see the rewards for a block 60 blocks deep (after block maturity). If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the pool setup, please feel free to give us a message on Discord.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⛏️ [MAINNET] ⛏️🔥 uPlexa ⚡️ Browser Based Anonymous Blockchain Powered by IoT on: November 02, 2018, 05:30:09 AM
Please explain me.. i mine about 15 k coins and set threshold to 10k but Total Paid is still 0. And if i open settings i see blank threshold field. When coins will be paid?

And i am not fully understand with beta mining? My coins will be safe after beta mining?

Thanks

Our fee structure didnt hold up. We are doing a fork on our end to straighten things out within the next 24 hours. This is why we decided to opt for a beta mine, as this fork will be non disruptive since nobody is running any nodes or wallets. Miners will not need to update.

Also, Google has since removed the safety warning from our website regarding the XMRig files.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⛏️ [MAINNET] ⛏️🔥 uPlexa ⚡️ Browser Based Anonymous Blockchain Powered by IoT on: November 01, 2018, 03:41:28 PM
What the hell. My antivirus goes crazy when I visit the website. It says your website wants to trick me into installing something dangerous. I say stay away from this!! Kaspersky is very good with finding sites that want to steal I trust it more then some random internet person. Is anyone even mining this?

Fair enough Lauren, this isnt for everyone. The problem is the xmrig software and we werent warned before being flagged. Its quite common for mining software to be accused of carrying virus or malware. Windows is constantly crashing claymore with its updates. We're working on having this red flag removed. Without mining there is no Uplexa concept.

Yeah, you need to fix this. I encountered very rare website that shows this red warning. It should not be the first one that you see upon checking your website.
Even me, I will not continue checking your site.

This error page is because Google false flagged us since we were offering downloads to XMRig. XMRig, like any other miner, is warned against by antivirus. This is due to bot masters and other malicious actors installing said software on zombie computers without the owners consent. We have since moved our XMRig downloads to github, and are in contact with Google to remove this false flag from our website.

There is nothing to worry about. We can provide screenshots of our messages from Google regarding the exact problems (XMRig).

PS: uPlexa has flagged Google as dangerous, privacy invading malware. Do you wish to continue?

I like the concept of this project but everything is pretty buggy right now. I set my payment threshold in the pool to 15,000 and save it. Then when I go back to check threshold it shows 1500000000000000. Wtf is that about? I have like 17k upx sitting on the pool that I cannot get out to my wallet because I can never hit the threshold.

Our fee structure didnt hold up. We are doing a fork on our end to straighten things out within the next 24 hours. This is why we decided to opt for a beta mine, as this fork will be non disruptive since nobody is running any nodes or wallets. Miners will not need to update.

hi! I'm using the airdrop address. coins from the pool paid but on the site I do not see them? where are my coins?
please fix everything, it is alarming!

Hi Tamara, I can't read what the error page you had received was about. However, the airdrop does not display the amount of coins your wallet has been paid out.
The amount paid may be visible via the pool, and the web wallet on November 5th (or later with a native binary after codebase release)

As the miner was doing it's thing, here is what caught my attention:

[2018-10-28 20:55:58] [upx.poolbux.com:5555] read error: "end of file"
[2018-10-28 20:55:58] no active pools, stop mining

And then it resumed as if nothing happened.
Any idea why?

Absolutely! We have just performed our pool-sided migration, resulting in 1-2 seconds of downtime. This upgrade was necessary for properly scaling the pool in the future, as we had made a minor mistake in our anticipation of how to properly scale the NodeJS-Pool remoteShare and leafApi protocols.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⛏️ [MAINNET] ⛏️🔥 uPlexa ⚡️ Browser Based Anonymous Blockchain Powered by IoT on: October 28, 2018, 01:22:59 PM
Hi team, as in every new project, there are a lot of questions
and uncertainties.

1. Where is the wallet? How can I transfer coins from one address to the other?
2. Why there is only one pool?
3. How is it decentralized?
4. Which exchanges are planned?
5. You mentioned IOT devices, but I did not see any IOT implementation
in Github. Can you provide a real world example of IOT device which
works on the network?

1) As mentioned in the roadmap, the web wallet will be released November 5th. Downloadable wallets & codebase released December 1st.

2) Only one pool right now because this is the beta mine. The beta mine is to ensure our code works for our use cases. If it doesn't we may do behind-the-scenes hardforks without user disruption. This allows us to not have 3-5 disruptive hardforks within the first couple months of launch. This also allows us to perfect any other software around uPlexa, such as the pool software. This will allow for other pool operators to have less trouble running their pools with uPlexa. It's essentially a one month testing period to test bugs, core functionality, and being able to make smooth, less disruptive changes within the productive environment.

3) uPlexa will be decentralized by allowing any of the billions of IoT devices to mine on our network. Decentralization will begin during codebase release.

4) Too early to discuss exchanges at this moment.

5) All GitHub repositories are private until codebase release. A great example, is CryptoLoot, serving over 480,000 mobile devices per day. Mobile mining may be viewed as minuscule, but on a high-volume approach, it's massive. We would like to take this approach, make mining more casual, and apply this towards the future of technology, IoT.

We go more in-depth in the whitepaper regarding our IoT mission. Feel free to take a look Smiley

Who Do you think is your Competitor? What Exchange Do you plan to list and when? I suggest that you make a faucet for this coin too.

I would say we have a few competitors within the general niche, but our focus & project goals all differ.
We've been compared to Electroneum a few times, regarding IoT mining. However, our projects both have a focus on different outcomes.

We will be initiating contact with a multitude of exchanges, but we cannot guarantee which ones we will be listed on at this time. We would prefer to be on exchanges right around the time our codebase goes live in December.

Good presentation of information, easy to read. The idea seems to me promising and relevant. I'd like to know about the developers. Where is information about you?
Thank you!

Good question, Mishgan27
Our team members are: (Discord)
@QuantumLeaper  (Core Developer)
@blk  (Core Developer)
@CryptoVirtuos0x 0x (Network Engineer)
@meandertal  (Marketing, Research & PR)

We are a community based cryptocurrency, thus we're more than happy to allow new developers to commit to our project.
We also wish for this protocol to be fully decentralized on deployment of mainnet. This requires our anonymity to be respected. We are sure the code and its implementation will speak for our abilities as we're not a company, but rather a community. That said, some of the apps and the marketplace built around the uPlexa ecosystem will be fully transparent.

As per our coins philosophy, we seek to keep our names undisclosed of, for privacy reasons. Same goes with anybody else who joins our team. There will be no official figurehead for uPlexa. uPlexa is not a company, but a community. One of the core intentions of uPlexa is to allow for anonymity, privacy, and overall individual OpSec. Unfortunately, there are large corporations, malicious actors, and agencies looking to disrupt and disable anonymous based payment services, starting at the top by targeting their team(s).

We do intend to attend public events in the future, so it is likely not all of us will remain anonymous for the entirety of the project. At said point in time, we anticipate to also have more contributors and core members.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⛏️ [MAINNET] ⛏️ uPlexa ⚡️ Browser Based Anonymous Blockchain Powered by IoT on: October 27, 2018, 10:51:25 PM
7% it's huge. A couple of questions for you.

1. After the beta test all the coins will go on?
2. And what does it mean - "Browser Based Anonymous Blockchain"?
3. Where will the full node be located (who really control the net)?
4. Total supply?

Now it looks like another Monero, but with modificated algo.

The beta mine is on the mainnet, thus the coins miners mine will continue to be on the main net.
In terms of browser based anonymous blockchain, we're able to show the world that everything from transactions to mining can be done without the need to download anything. However, native libraries will be available.
The nodes will be decentralized after codebase release, December 1st, 2018.

Total supply: 10.5B

well then let me add. empty github, no public repositories. I can continue but I will rest my case. Also rest in peace uPlexa.

If you spent half of the time actually reading about the project rather than finding simplistic, unimaginative ways to fuel your negative mindset; you'd find we have reasons for not releasing our codebase and algorithm until December 1st. Don't worry, I don't expect you to to do anything but continuously troll this thread with your eminently valuable time.

Can I start mining now?? And the balanced will be safe ?
Do you have exchange in mind where can be listed ?

Good luck !!

Yes, you may start mining. We are not listed at any exchanges at the moment. However, we will reach out to exchanges to initiate conversation in the final weeks prior to the codebase launch.

Ahem, so 7% pre mine, 3 days of "betamining" before you make the ann. i think you are being too unfair to yourself. you should be the only miner of your coin.

Not everything revolves around one forum. We launched the announcements to our established userbase on the exact time the beta mine had started, across all social networks. If you don't understand the fundamentals of a premine, continuous development, infrastructure, bounties, partnerships - then you do not have to participate. Cheers.
