121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Blockchain on: September 27, 2018, 06:24:55 PM

The EOS blockchain is a relatively new system that is looking very promising at the moment. In today's article we will discover more about this marvellous Blockchain.

https://blog.amon.tech/eos-blockchain/
if i am not mistaken, some time ago i've came across some topic on this forum where there was a discussion about eos possible overtake of eth, and that they are really similar
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: September 26, 2018, 05:45:26 PM
As a background, NEO is a blockchain platform and cryptocurrency supporting a scalable network of decentralized applications. It bears resemblance to Ethereum at its core but has its own unique features.  Unlike Ethereum, it integrates other cryptocurrencies into its network, which gives it the potential to become a global digital system in today's smart economy.

NEO touts its accessibility as one of the key platform features because common programming languages are accepted on its platform.

How do you think about NEO?
i wonder, can we compare neo and ripple? look how many people are talking about eth possible replacement, is it a provocation or something real?
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth and Ripples In position fight on: September 26, 2018, 05:43:49 PM
Here is my assumption: Any attempt by Ripples to hold the number 2 position will not be sustained, the psychology of investors is such that once ripples grows over eth, it will cause a more buy effect on eth until it eventually sits above XRP.

This was noticed in the last pump of XRP which eventually made Eth to pump for almost 20% before overtaking XRP. The fight could be real but Eth will always win.
ripple is not decentralized, why is it so popular now? surely it is one of the most interesing projects but i guess eth is stronger and, in my opinion, more stable
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be the year for Ripple? on: September 25, 2018, 06:11:23 PM
After sleeping for so long, Ripple seems to be awake now and starts to run. Do you think it is now time for it to grow or is it just temporary? Many people are against it because they say that it is centralized but banks worldwide are pro Ripple. Does Ripple can go up to $100? What's your opinion about it?
i don't know, it's really confusing. yesterday few would want it and today banks are pro ripple all of a sudden. what's the trick then?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto can be less volatile than gold? on: September 25, 2018, 06:09:28 PM
Many people compare crypto to gold, and I see so many similarities as well.

I believe one day crypto can be less volatile than gold. If more people adopt, and address values to everyday items, trading in a daily basis, (like for grocery shopping) then crypto will  be easier to use, safer, fluctuate less in terms of prices, and a lot more stable.

What do you guys think?
the idea is fascinating. it is natural that it can become more stable in case daily basis trading is involved. but let's not to forget crypto is a closed subject for those who don't understand internet at least
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: September 24, 2018, 04:12:56 PM
Hello,

I recently returned to the world of crypto and noticed something wrong right away, I couldn't put my finger on it until now.

Poor people are ruining crypto. so many people just in the game to get rich and buy lambos, posting broken english or poorly translated post like " what coin x1000 this week, I need ferrari countach"

the forum is filled with these people trying to make pennies spamming shitcoins and scam ICO's

these people dont mine or invest in things they believe in but whatever they think will make them rich. Its like giving homeless people GPU's and telling them they print money.

I think this last correction was needed and many more to kill off a lot of shit coins and lame projects as well as get rid of these poor people in the game just trying to get rich.

"my 1070 only makes $2 a day now!" oh you poor baby! try mining years ago when 5$ a month was huge but didn't matter cause you believed in the project.

/rantover lol

people are free to choose in what trick they put themselves. for some of them it will be a lesson, for some of them a chance to learn financial tools. it's all right
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why so many peoples belived in pump 2018? on: September 24, 2018, 04:10:59 PM
so, guys!
why u r still belive in huge green streen or bullish market in 2018?!

for me - it s amazing mistake for all of who thinking so
look at the law, watch at the country titans of crypto - they all blocked openned cryptoway
why u are still thinking- "2018 will be pump year"??
as we can see today, it's not as pump as some of us hoped. yes, there are still three month to go but what is going on now isn't too pleasant. surely there was some growth but, alas...
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: September 22, 2018, 08:36:10 AM
....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.
i was wondering lately, can't such coins as eth or ada stay away from btc influence? and by the way, what holds it from being independent? i think i don't understand something
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: September 22, 2018, 08:32:40 AM
I have joined in this form in November 2017! Before that, I did not know about Ethereum but I had a group for buy - Sell bitcoin! When my elder brother told about Ethereum and he ordered me to keep an eye on coinmarketcap always! That time Ethereum price was 330 USD and after few days, it went to 290 USD and the ln the bull market was started! But after almost one year, I have to see Ethereum price at 170 USD! I am feeling too much bad. What about you guys?
well obviosly this drop makes us feel as bad as you do. nothing funny about that apart from the fact we have something to occupy our mind with
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: September 21, 2018, 04:36:04 PM
The current market corrections are making a better investor, well weeding out the panicky investors that do not do their research. The hype balloon has been pretty deflated lately, making it easier to find legitimate projects to come to the surface. To top it off i don't have to read "when moon! when lambo!" every time i open discord or telegram. I think those are huge benefits.
it might be considered as a benefit, of course. but still there was more money flowing into crypto. doesn't matter hype or not as long as it is supported with cash Wink
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO vs ADA on: September 21, 2018, 04:33:29 PM
Yes I know that have nothing do do with each other and that you cant really compare. But if you had to choose one from the other. which would it be?
though many here give positive overviews on neo, i still would pick up ada. there's something that worries me about neo, it is centralized if i am not mistaken
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: September 20, 2018, 04:05:56 PM
I wanted to participate in the Iagon pre-sale.  I joined what I thought was the official Iagon telegram.  Turned out it wasn't.  I followed the instructions on the pinned message, which directed me to send ETH to a specified wallet address.  Turned out it was all a scam, and I lost 5 ETH.

Really sucks.  The lesson is be careful out there.
whenever i read something like this it makes me wonder how long such story could exist. can't those scam understand it all comes back in the end? and there's no religious hint, it's just basic laws of energy
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am going insane on: September 20, 2018, 04:03:28 PM
I think thatch am slowly becoming a paranoid person. There are so many sites and articles, different magazines, information is coming from everywhere. From friends, from people on this forum, from my own head sometimes. And the more time passes the more I feel that can not cope with it any more.
From time to time I notice that the stream of this information is too fast and too wide and the facts are usually opposite ones that were told about lately. Magazines usually write contraversary articles and people... everyone is telling something that is opposite the opinion you believe. How do you manage to keep a balance in this? How to filter information if it all seems to come from a reliable source, but pieces cannot click together. Stop reading and listening to everyone is not an option, you can miss something important. Continue listening will make me a sick person Smiley What do tounusually do in such situations?
usually when you have a clear focus of you want the flow of information kind of brings only what you need to hear, that is, what will be essential in your situation
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your cryptocurrency news? on: September 19, 2018, 07:07:51 PM
Other than Bitcointalk could you recommend me your favorite sources of cryptocurrency news? I mean news sites, blogs, twitter accounts, subreddits and those kinds of places.
well, i just type it in the search and see what it has to offer. usually i get news from people i communicate during the day as they are deep into this stuff
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / what affects crypto prices??? on: September 18, 2018, 08:55:00 PM
Hi there! So many people say that btc and alts are connected, and some of crypto participants even suggested that there are other things that affect the course of crypto. I am not that smart or experienced so I ask you guys to help me. Is it possible that prices for gold, silver and crude oil are connected with crypto somehow? I've noticed that that price for silver has dropped and it usually means that some changes in prices for gold and platinum will occur too. What crypto has to do with it or there's nothing in it? Am I imagining things? I feel some kind of panic, I know it's different fields - silver and crypto currency, yet after witnessing such crash I strat being paranoid about any drop of prices. I half expect btc crash even lower. So what's your opinion, is crypto currency independent and can't be altered by anything or is it still has some ties with another trading values?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto going strong! on: September 18, 2018, 04:26:16 PM
Hey guys, what do you think about today’s market situation? Market is growing really fast. Will it keep going like this?
i think that crypto was just preparing itself for this dive at the moment you had write about it. today's market situation doesn't look as pretty as it was some months ago
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many think crypto is dead. It is not. on: September 17, 2018, 10:27:18 PM
I keep reading some really desperate people on a forum (other than this one) and they seem sure that crypto is dead, because it is scam etc.

Crpyto is not dead. Don't be stupid. HODL.
well imagine those people made a mistake and invested money they needed and couldn't afford to loose. and now all they see is how it all getting wasted. despreate indeed
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO on: September 14, 2018, 09:07:52 AM
I know I have responsibility for my money. It's my choice and I don't hate anybody, I just hate myself
i'm sorry for a psychological topic here, but your feeling towards yourself transfers to others as well. so you hate others, too if you hate yourself
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will replace ETH! on: September 14, 2018, 09:02:24 AM
The CEO of Cardano has an obsession to put ETH into the gutter!

https://ambcrypto.com/cardano-ada-is-planning-to-replace-ethereum-eth-marlowe-to-take-over/

Cardano has the technology and capabilities to destroy ETH and some other coins in the top 20: Make no mistake Cardano is a giant slayer!
i have read loads of stuff about cardano and there were many positive reviews on the subject, but i guess eth isn't going to let go that easily
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be contented with what you have on: September 13, 2018, 09:56:21 AM
Slow and steady they say wins the race. Do not be in a haste to make it big in the crypto world. There is never a shortcut to success. Be contented with whatever you gain at every point in time.
Do not look down on yourself because you see others make it big. A drop of water makes a mighty ocean.
Your gain might seem to be small today.
Your portfolio might not look so big.
Just in a moment and with little more patience, your portfolio will see the brightest light and be filled above your imaginations.
yet how difficult to remember that when you have some nasty situation. you're right, one step at a time is better. unless you posses millions of dollars, that is
