Maybe it's only applicable if the last year will really repeat itself to correct itself mostly during last quarter of the year but what if not? What if people start to realize that the volume dragging the price of each crypto is just hype or companies manipulating. And maybe they are afraid of making big investments anymore

No, never. Sometimes people will follow the advice of an analysis that just so happens to come true, forgetting that all of them say different things and normally don't comply with each other. So with anyone making shots in the dark, one of them is bound to be true

Yes yes yes. But I'm afraid that some will only believe in bitcoin if they see it stay around for decades. Bitcoin is already 10 years old right? Idk. But I think that is what needs to happen first.

I also don't see much of a connection really. Maybe if bitcoin becomes a more global currency that is widely used then mayyybe it could but for now I don't see how it could affect bitcoin.

I'm not too sure if ethereum can overtake bitcoin or not but as for 2020, I would place my money on bitcoin. I'm not too sure if 1 and a half years is enough time for ethereum to overtake bitcoin. I know nothing is too stable in this market but it doesn't seem like bitcoin will be budging from the no.1 spot anytime soon.

I've always imagine the future of cryptocurrency to be like those microchips under our skin type scenarios, swiping your wrist to pay for something or making payments by holding the wrists near to each other. Not too sure these ideas excites me though :x
