121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News: Bitcoin won't be Global Currency on: June 21, 2018, 09:29:12 AM
You understand that Globally all over the world - no, in many countries about him and did not hear, and maybe not hear. Half of the world only learns about Bitcoin.
I think that it will be on top for a long time and will continue to develop and as a result - will become very large-scale (more than now)
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: June 21, 2018, 09:24:15 AM
Among the coins - bitcoin without competition at this stage. If you think more broadly - whether it has competitors - then the biotechnology market may be developing rapidly, high competitiveness and risk that tomorrow something will be more new.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 21, 2018, 09:19:14 AM
In all references, Bitcoin and Blockchain are close by. Technically, you can separate one from another and talk as a new product. Blokchein is applicable in many spheres of life and human activity, therefore its existence will be long.
124  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cant Sleep :( on: June 20, 2018, 11:25:57 AM
This past few months i dont know why but its hard for me to get sleep Sad any suggestion or opinion that would help me to got better sleep at night . Huh my regular sleep 4-5am Sad
maybe it's not what you wanted to hear ... how are you feeling? you just sleep for 4-5 hours? I just recently read an article about how to get enough sleep for 5 hours (because I do not have time to do everything, if you leave 7-8 sleep.) Try to look at it from the other side.

129  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you feel about zoos? on: June 19, 2018, 02:08:06 PM
I treat zoos well if I go there and animals do not cause pity. When I see that animals are not hungry, they are neat, well-groomed, they have a clean and important thing about them. That is only for the benefit of animals. Many species and this is what saves from extinction.
But there are zoos where the situation is bad and then very sorry for the animals, but what can we do?

[img https://www.smileexpo.eu/public/upload/news/blockchain_et_industrie_musicale_quels_sont_des_liens_entre__15293134824721_image.jpg /img]

ICO for startups and EU’s vision of crypto market: results of Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague

On May 17, Smile-Expo pleased Czech crypto community with the fourth annual specialized conference. Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague gathered crypto experts, legal specialists and world-known developers. Participants of the event shared their experience in blockchain introduction into business processes and e-gov as well as discussed the future of the technology.

Among the conference speakers, there were managers at renowned IT organizations and members of the European Parliament who provided their vision of cutting-edge technologies and crypto industry.

What issues did Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague feature?

Three steps to implement blockchain into business

René Bostic, Technical Vice President of Innovation and New Technologies at IBM Cloud analyzed major blockchain trends. According to the expert, successful inclusion of distributed ledger in business processes is possible if three important conditions are fulfilled: safety, data privacy and compliance with high standards of data storage.

Attitude of European Union towards blockchain

Dimitrios Psarrakis, Capital Markets & FinTech Regulation Policy Advisor at European Parliament, shared EU’s stance on cryptocurrencies. As he reported, the most important thing is blockchain standardization. Then, issues related to compliance and scalability of databases. Moreover, general data protection and cyber security regulation has to be elaborated. Dimitrios Psarrakis also pointed out the spheres of blockchain application in the future: power industry, logistics, medicine and art.

 Problems of cryptocurrency legalization

Guenther Dobrauz-Saldapenna, Leader at PwC Legal Switzerland featured close attention of financial regulators to the crypto industry. As the specialist emphasized, financial institutions haven’t come up with a unified classification of tokens and ICOs. However, Head at PwC Legal Switzerland thinks that the future of blockchain directly depends on the legal regulation of crypto industry.

 Combination of AI and blockchain

Founder and Head at Iris.ai startup Anita Schjøll Brede informed how to combine blockchain and neural networks. She managed to implement this idea by developing an assistant for quick search of scientific literature. As the expert said, AI reduces network power consumption as well as boosts performance of a central processor and RAM to support blockchain.

ICO as a way of resolving problems with project financing

Marketing Director and Co-Founder at Iconiq Lab Arabdha Sudhir made a presentation dedicated to common methods of project financing and tokenization of products and services. The speaker also told how to leverage ICO as venture investment for financing of startups at early stages of development.

 Exhibition area

Keeping up with the traditions, Smile-Expo presented an exhibition area with high-end products in the sphere of decentralized databases. For example, KompiTech demonstrated blockchain solutions for logistics, Cleverance showcased software for telecommunications. Moreover, BubbleTone carried out testing of an application for making international calls with no intermediaries while Inno3D displayed mining hardware.

It is the fourth time Prague-based [Suspicious link removed]munity demonstrated its interest in crypto industry development and showed warm welcome to participants and speakers of Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague.

Thanks for joining us! See you again in Prague!

136  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Why Tickets so Expensive for Conferences on: June 19, 2018, 06:55:30 AM
Just a question how come tickets for conferences are so "sell your kidney" prices.
I know there are tonnes of speakers that you have to pay for etc.
but conferences are meant for learning of crypto, how would that be attractive to the average person etc?
Very often there are days when there is an action for tickets, in honor of the holidays. so they can be won by subscription (I know the lucky ones), but I could not do it))
If you start from the price and look for free (cheap), you can also find them. I think in many cities there is a society (a group of people) ready to meet and discuss the latest news. If there is not yet such a group - you can create it yourself)  Wink

Most of these conferences are pretty much worthless, you are not missing out.

Go to Youtube and look for the real movers and shakers.

Personally, I think that they have great benefits, this is networking, communication, new acquaintances. All this can be obtained only at a meeting and live communication. Maybe I was lucky, but I left the conference with a lot of useful acquaintances and I liked it. I plan to visit and see my friends  Wink

DLT platforms for music industry improvement
Currently, there is a big number of blockchain-based platforms for music. Some specialize in content security, others focus on fair transactions, but every network aims at contributing to the music industry.

• Soundeon
It is a French-based blockchain music ecosystem working with all industry features: from work creation to performances organization and selling tickets. The platform makes music accessible for artists providing young talents with opportunities and giving them the ability to control their works themselves.

The network provides innovative solutions by bringing markets being previously separated – ticketing, ticket resells and copywrites creation – into one environment.

• Ujo Music
This Ethereum-based platform ensures fair revenues for artists with smart contracts. The main concept of the company is to make creators being paid automatically while apps and companies get access to their music.

It allows the open sharing of the information and gets rid of the intermediate parties. Decentralized database containing information about rights and right owners allows great transparency in the industry.

Using Ujo, artists can work independently, digitize their data and enjoy the process of art creation and sharing it with fan without any problems.

• VOISE
It is a music streaming and distribution network working on the Ethereum technology. The main aim of the company is to allow creators to find appreciators of their works, interact with them and get fairly paid.

VOISE’s advantage is the possibility for artists to get 100% compensation without any money being lost. Music is also protected against fraud and hacks and is made accessible to everyone from any place in the world.

Trade with the mind involves knowledge and intelligibility. There is also an expression - who is quieter rides, that will go further. I stick to this. Where promising quick interest, large earnings - I immediately consider it a risk. I'm not on the road with them.
