Maybe you could look at MintPal, there is a voting for the new coins to be added. You can buy votes for BTC, you can just look at the top of the list and write to the currency's forum, that you can add them. They usually need somewhere dump their fresh newly mined coins.

Or what is your plan? Will you focus to the famous crypto or you will adopt every new crypto?

Hi, my testNXT balance is 474 and I have tried to buy 2 VitaminXT. Total price 51 and my NXT Wallet is saying "Not enough funds".

Then I have tried to send mesage and again, "Not enough funds"

What is wrong?

Leased forging would solve all that.

Personally, I don't feel guilty for not forging. I own ~12k Nxt. I'm a poor shibe, could only afford to buy into 4.3k of it (at~250USD), the rest I received through helping out around here (thanks again everyone!). And if all I can afford is that amount, I definitely can't afford to run a public node, protect it against DDoS, upload lots of data, keep everything running, etc, regardless of any social expectation/ostracism. I'd be perfectly happy to lease my forging power though (but not actually send the nxt). Let someone who runs a service using Nxt and who can afford to do all the above forge in my stead. Personally, I'm happy to subsidize them a little by letting them keep my (likely small) forging gains. Or maybe, as Nxt develops, it'll be the other way round, they'll want to compete for my Nxt forging power and offer me incentives for doing so.

[...]

I do not think that Leased Forging is a good idea. We do not need pools to achieve fair fee distribution. Have a look at Shared Forging instead.
This approach uses less resources and no pools need to be controlled. I think it is a much sleeker way to solve the problem.

"Shared Forging" sounds to me much more better then "Leased Forging" too. Would it be possible "Share Forging" to thousands of accounts or more?

Today's forging person with small NXT amount will wait 50 years to see forged block.
Shared Forging person will see progress every day or week and get 0.001 NXT and not 20 NXT every 50 years.

In case we don't want to use forging to earn money then we should stop promote it in that way. Todays forging / earning situation is disappointment for new people. And then they will talk bad about Nxt.

I won't make any change to the principle of 1 account/ 1 share which is the basic stone of NEM's fundraising/ principle.

For some news, here is the preview of NEM's front site which is pretty much just the front page right now http://www.ournem.com/.
This is for preview only so please do not circulate as I am in process of obtaining image rights for the site.

Now here is a quick bounty of 500 NXT for anyone can correctly identify the front page picture.

UP

Looks very nice! I hope in great future for all second generation.

Martin, I'm one of the people you stole from -- 1000 NXT to be exact.  This is how you can make your theft from me good in my eyes: buy 500 NXT and donate it to the charity SongsOfLove.  Details are here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=468258.0

Post your transaction ID here to verify.  Thank you.

I can't buy NXT, I have no bitcoins. Just dogecoin atm. Any charity from dogecoin is fine by me

Trade some DOGE for BTC, then BTC for NXT.  DOGE can be sold and NXT can be purchased at both Vircurex and Bter.

NXT <-> DOGE is here: nxt-e.com

Could you please write some conclusion about Dutch Auction and bids levels?

What is the final price per share?

What received person with price bid 30 NXT.
or
What received person with price bid 80 NXT.

Or what you think is good to know.

139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transparent mining 2, or What part of Legacy should be left behind on: February 11, 2014, 10:43:42 AM
Let me summarize:

We want:
 - passive forging (that what we do right now)
 - active forging (passive forging + additional service on top of NXT)
 - supporting the family
 - slow change

ok you're gonna have to explain what the differences are between active/passive forging.  I do not get how you are making the distinction

I would like to know the answer too.

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transparent mining 2, or What part of Legacy should be left behind on: February 10, 2014, 05:03:12 PM
I like the idea forging as business. But still don't undestrand why average person buying a 100000 NXT will not be able to forge.

Mining made bitcoin so famous, because people can do something for the idea at home and earn real money.

What I'm missing?

Maybe you're missing the fact there's many things you can do for the idea at home and earn value. Promotion, development, trading, third party services, etc.

It's important to start changing the mining=forging mentality, and the mining paradigm itself. It will be obsolete soon. The real new paradigm for adoption should rather be something like proof of learning, while proof of stake is a way of securing the network, not an easy buck.

Thank you for very interesting link to the proof of learning. As you can see I'm working a lot to help promote Nxt in the way I know. I would be very happy in case I could be payed by the system for my renderings.

It is Nxt in some way transforming to the POL - proof of learning system? It could be great too. Then we should stop promoting Nxt's forging on the boat in pacific with mobile phone.

I like all yours high level ideas. We shouldn't forget about average people newly interested about Nxt.
