What about Q&A, CEO Igor will be presenting?  We have not seen him in a long time.

I think it'll be the same as the previous Q&A: CEO, CTO, Deputy CTO and PR-director

So Testnet 2.1 was given...now we are waiting 2.2 for external test? Correct?

Yes, we are waiting Testnet 2.2. Maybe there will be more versions before the external test.

Several companies are going to use CREDITS platform for ICO arrangement. The most of them are under NDA right now. I can't said the exact number. Also please check all current partners here. https://credits.com/en/Home/Partners.

Credits platform for ICO arrangement? Arent ICO run on ether platform as Erc-20 tokens? What role Credits play in ICO arrangement?

Some companies are planning to create dApps on our platform. We are already actively working with our partners. Also we are ready to provide technical support and advise on all issues of interest.
its great to see that more companies are willing to pattern with this project, and good news are allover, with the security part complete and new software upgrade, the project is heading for great success.

Yeah! I've been running v2.1 node since its release and network was stable, though not so many nodes were running, but I'm sure everyone who wanted to try the platform for themselves already did so and now are waiting for external test to launch the node and help the team to achieve that 1M with higher number of nodes!

Just synced on new testnet and running a node right now, network is stable as it was before. I think I'll try to cooperate with some people and put some load on the network.

Yeah, now that security is confirmed by quite a reputable company and not an issue anymore we can expect great things in the future: external test, stress-test, big partner announcement and finally mainnet production release.

Will you publish partner names that are working on the platform right now anytime soon?

We observe and help with the creation of dApps to our partners. I think that the publication of the list will be a little later.

Do you happen to know the news that Lenovo opened a cashier-free shop in China, is CREDITS invlonved in it in any way?

The Security Audit of Credits Blockchain Platform (Consensus and Transport protocols) code has been completed.

Check it out!
https://medium.com/@red4sec/credits-blockchain-audited-by-red4sec-1b0cb9bf3b4a

Now this! This is just awesome piece of news! Now all we have to prove is our TPS which won't take long, waiting for stage 2 & 3 to shut up those doubters!
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: November 02, 2018, 03:53:23 AM
Is Credits team considering incentives for running a node within the 2nd stage of testing?

I agree with the Notorious2000, there's not much sense in this, because people should understand that the more will participate the better the  credibility of the test will be, because right now general crowd is complaining that all tests were performed with small number of nodes, speed with which is "easily achieved". So in order to shut them up and finally gain acknowledgement from general crowd we need as many people participating as possible, and CS supporters should understand that more than anyone else.

Yeah, you both are right here, CS supporters need to understand that they should be participating in the test with all they've got so afterwards people won't have doubts about the "small number of nodes" bs.

ETH is not something unique in this aspect, lol,  ICOs run with the help of smart contracts which CREDITS also has, i.e. it'll be possible to run an ICO on CS platform. Simple as that

When will Credits wallet work? I take care about my investments, so i need good secure wallet to hold my CS.
... currently we are in talks with Ledger and Trezor at the moment, after the swap CS coin will be added there.

Well, it will be great to finally have  a reliable device which will allow us to guarantee  the security of CS coins that will replace  tokens we have.

Yeah, hardware wallets are the best choice to store you assets, of course other wallets are also good if you follow basic security measures and if the wallet itself is secure, but hardware ones still are the best.

How secure CS wallet by the way? Is there any info about what security measures there are for the wallet?

We have a secure wallet according to modern requirements. Also, the wallet has private and public keys. In the future, we are planning a bounty bug to fix all the found flaws in security.

Is there any info about security measures used in the wallet? like encryption algo for key pair generation and so on.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: October 31, 2018, 06:03:49 PM

No, they haven't released mainnet to public yet, they say it'll be released during Q4 and token swap will start then as well.

Right now they released new testnet version which is rather stable, so you can play around with it. I've been running a node since Saturday, works fine for me, It took me some time to sync though.

Token swap hasn't started yet. I think it'll begin either along with mainnet release to public or a bit earlier. Either way it'll be announced once it's decided.  As far as I know Exchanges usually support token swap processes and does it automatically and I guess CS won't be an exception in this case.

there are many credit holders in various exchanges and personal wallets and I also don't want to miss this opportunity, because swap usually has a time limit for the holder to swap it immediately. thanks for the information

Not sure when and where I've heard this, either one of my acquintances heard this on official telegram from admins or something like that, but there won't be deadline for swap. Still would be good if someone could clarify this.

Hey, do you happen to know if there'll be some kind of report about the conference or maybe an announcement?
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: October 29, 2018, 11:22:43 PM
Watch the video of the CREDITS' presentation in Moscow, which looks very impressive.
I am waiting for more good news released in the future from CREDITS team.
In the meantime, I will keep strongly supporting the project and watching the topic regularly.

Yeah, a good editing, gives the impression the presentation was very smooth and interesting, but still I'd like to know more details, such who was present, i.e. what companies, media and etc. In other words I'd like to read some sort of report about it:)
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: October 28, 2018, 04:00:12 AM
The only Russian project that works! I really believe in these guys, especially in Igor Chugunov!

I wouldn't say it's the only one, but again I can't remember another russian projects that would be this transparent, forthcoming and have a good strategy, so yeah, I have to agree)

I have visited your site to get credit wallet, but I can't access the wallet site and it seems like it's in trouble. Is your wallet site under maintenance?

What are the advantages of credit wallet? I am using  MEW to store my CS tokens and fully satisfied with its capabilities.
yes i know that, i think credit has built their own blockchain, so they haven't launched it yet?

Latest Desktop version is available on our website. Link: https://developers.credits.com/en/Articles/11
This version is a bit unstable, but with excluded VPN. After correcting the flaws, a new version will be published. Web version of the wallet will be available a little later. Priority on versions for Linux and Windows
this is what I mean, do you have it? I think it's too risky and it seems like we have to wait until they refine and publish it.

Thanks for the info. On another note, do you know what the requirements are to run a node on mainnet?

As far as I know you don't need any coins, you install the client, syncronize with the network and you're part of it, simple as that.

That's the requirements I was able to find, not sure how actual they are though:

Recommended system requirements:
Operating system: Windows® 7 / Windows® 8 / Windows® 10 64-bit (with the last update package)
Processor (CPU): Intel® Core ™ i3 or AMD Phenom ™ X3 8650
Memory (RAM): 4–8 Gb

oh, that's nice, didn't know these details and the requirements also seem rather acceptable I think most of PCs from 2010-11 have better specs, this could be the thing for spread running node initiative among people:)

I know, bud, this could be a deciding factor for people to run a node along with the incentive of course.
Glad I could help by the way:)

Why no volumes on Bitfinex? What ways to increase it?

I think it's the CMC fault,  it just takes ages literally to update any info there, imho, just remember how much time it took them to update circulating supply which is STILL WRONG. That's just beyond my comprehension.

Dont think there is Credits Swap, check websites and twitter for more up to date information
Where did the information about the swap come from? I didn't listen to any of that. Can you give a link to the source of information? Thanks.

It hasn't started yet, buddy, see my message above

At what conference you will take part next time?

I haven't heard anything except their meetup in Moscow on 25th Oct (i.e. today), I guess they will announce the next one once it's decided:)

Guys, is it possible to set up a Node with a raspberry pi?

Yeah, it would be good to have more platforms to run the node on, the more the better!

I'm interested in audit assessment. It would be awesome if the team can share some info about this, no pressure, but looking forward to seeing it before 2019

Last time I heard about them both audits are still in process. I agree, would be great if team could shed some more light on that, like what are the expected timeframes or something, but it's okay if they can't, I'm not in a hurry so I can wait

Our team always shares official information, if the time frame is known, let's wait. A lot of good news ahead

In a new podcast by Bounty0x PR Director Evgeny Ivantsov and Deputy CTO Konstantinos Sotiropoulos talk about the Credits platform, mass adoption and high profile partnerships.

Join Credits new soundcloud channel - https://soundcloud.com/creditscom

Yup, that's the one, a lot of fresh and quite useful info there, I should say.

How long will the testnet 2.1 of CREDITS last?
I am not technical guy so I don't join the testing period, but hope that all things will be fine and the official version will be released to the community soon.

Everyone can take part in the test. We collect all the flaws in the Google form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeUDQRNlQrZVYgRNsoVAi4W3xDvnj5RP8Y8qPcdKqd-e46Zzg/viewform?usp=send_form. At the moment, there is no exact date for the end of the test period. I think, bugs will be eliminated in parallel and in the near future we will move to external testing of network load.

Hope we will reach required amount of nodes for the start of 2nd stage, I guess it starts in November.

How much right now?

They need to update insallation manuals to make the process of installation much easier for average customer

They can't be even more simple than they are now for your average Joe.  It's just a process of clicking "next-next-finish-apply-ok" and then launch the node, nothing to adjust there:)

Yeah, it's very simple to install it, though you'll have to make sure everything is working fine if you're not a tech guy, but it can be solved in the  Technical discussion group of CS  which actually used for platform testing by the community.

I have seen many photos with toshibo logo, does it mean that they are CREDITS new partner Forbes 500, is that possible? Thoughts.

No, I don't think so, if you're talking about that photo with cards. I guess it's just that CS is expanding its future prospects. Have you heard CS podcast by the way? They released it today and said something about IBM:)

IBM?? Really? At what minute they said about it?

Ugh, can't remember, I think it was somewhere around 17min or so.
