I have made bad alt investments and lost BTC. I have also stupidly not backed up my wallet.dat in the early days and had a stolen laptop, great feeling knowing the earner the buyer of the laptop got if he understood BTC, it was 3.5btc. I guess there are many who have lost much more so I feel for them.

If and when we get large adoption your peanuts will be worth that little bit more and the market won't be so tiny and you can count your lucky stars you got in early or it may never take off but atleast you never missed out.

I have btc i store and btc i spend so i am doing my bit for btc and the coin i store is not against btc. I do get what your saying and we do need more spending but that is just people preference what they do. One day hopefully there will be a lot of adoption so there will be big spenders in the mix too.

If anything that would not scare away the smart investors but they would invest more. Surely we all know the house with the edge will always be on top in the long run so it makes sense to be there for when the coin is returned. Its like buying at the bottom, well you hope i cannot comment on the bankroll he had but 200btc was obviously a nice win. The thing with gambling that morning he might have been 300btc down on other sites. op it is both a nice starting bankroll and a major bit of luck to get those numbers and it helps to have some balls or should we call it greed? to keep going and not leave 10btc-20btc in profit.

From my time spent in btc and following the price.Now is not a good time to buy and definitely not a perfect time, if you wait a few more weeks you'd likely get $40[10% cheaper per btc. That is obviously my opinion and can be wrong but i am waiting till i buy more because of my beliefs.It will increase this year though no denying that.
