Looks like it is having some good traction on coinmarketcap and the day to day volume is increasing. All good signs.

Updated to the last wallet, added a worked on the website, and added that worker along with the other info to the config file in the testnet3 folder. But when I do a getmininginfo it says poolmining false.

Thank you for clarifying. You guys do an outstanding job of communicating.

So I understand the wallet uses tor but wanted to clarify something. Does the wallet operate as an exit point for the tor network or is it just connecting to it? Your website makes it sound like it is operating as an exit point "Helping the TOR Network: By operating DeepOnion, you help to increase the number of nodes on the TOR network, and in so doing, you help people all over the world stay anonymous online.". If that is the case people should be aware of the implications of that.

I think this might be the most ambicious cryptocurrency ICO I've seen yet. I don't know how well you'll do but I wish you luck.

It'd be nice to have a place to spend crypto directly. But it'll be interesting to see how you deal with all the taxes and local, state, federal requirements that you'll run into. Get those sorted and I think you have a good chance.

I believe the concern is that if you release a standalone miner then you don't have a lot of people running nodes and with a new coin nodes are important. Plus without a standalone miner it will be more difficult for botnets to start taking over. However I think it is just a matter of time for someone creating one once the pool is finished. It's not that one can't be created just the dev isn't going to dedicate time to it.

I have a few computers an home but i don't want to run the wallet on each of them, could i simply run the wallet on a computer and activate daemon=1, listen=1, server=1 and set the rpc settings in the biblepay.conf and set other pc to mine on this, like i used to do back then with bitcoin...
Ive set the config and i can see the wallet listening on its port and if i connect with the browser i see that its listening (of course the browser gives a RPC error but at least it shows that its listening).
But from there, would there be a way to use the client and point it to the RPC of the wallet (other PC) ?
Thanks
I don't believe so as that would require a standalone miner which the dev is trying to avoid. However you could use the command line wallet and just use the same wallet in each.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to see regularly posted updates. It lets us know the project is alive and well.

Glad I held onto my credits after all the mess with the difficulty. Hopefully everything gets resolved and the coin can carry on.

So I see the plan is to sell these tokens using a credit card enabled portal. What plans do you have to deal with charge backs and other types of fraud?

Red flags here..
Does charity really need to have blockchain tech?
I fully support charity but it is sad to see that only 10% will be donated. Why don't the devs just ask for donations and donate it to orphans?? Because this is a money making scheme for the dev and he is using "charity" as a front. So unethical.
You are totally right that the 10% going to a wallet is a concern and everyone should be aware that at any point the dev could run off with the funds. However so far the dev hasn't given us any reason to believe this will be the case and hopefully sometime in the future the plans for setting up a formal auditable charity will be hammered out. Beyond that everyone should expect the 10% to be sold on a regular and ongoing basis to fund that charity.

can anyone lend a hand to a obvious WIN user. trying to compile on Mint so I can make use of this dual opteron 6272 server...
why cant i locate this? is Libtool not part of the ubuntu repository? thanks for any info-
Can't exec "libtoolize": No such file or directory at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/FileUtils.pm line 345, <GEN7> line 5. autoreconf: failed to run libtoolize: No such file or directory autoreconf: libtoolize is needed because this package uses Libtool
I can't speak specifically for this release but it should just be as easy as doing sudo apt-get install libtool. It shows here on the package search https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=libtool. You may have to enable an additional repo to get this package.

I would be willing to help with pool testing. Will it need a large hash rate to test or if I just spin up a low powered vm would that be enough?

Adding a camera is a novel idea. I'm assuming the goal will be to create a mobile version with a lightweight wallet?

Signed up for the airdrop. However it appears you have no checks built into the google form so someone could potentially sign up a few hundred times. You might be able to filter by IP address but that's easily changed.

Seems like a novel and useful idea. Is the contract handled entirely on the ETH blockchain or does it require some interaction with your service?
|
|

I'm assuming this will have a healthy premine to fund the bounties and airdrop. I might suggest putting airdrop in the title once the rules are put out to pull in more people.

I've been running the miner for a little over a day and haven't had any issues with it crashing or stopping mining. Found two blocks within that time so seems to be working well.
|

|
Hello,
DO I have any chance to get a block ?
Below is my stats-  { "blocks": 697, "currentblocksize": 1000, "currentblocktx": 0, "difficulty": 0.002779185900518826, "errors": "", "genproclimit": 90, "networkhashps": 1673.446772752131, "hashps": 22010.90600526033, "minerstarttime": 1501237694818, "pooledtx": 0, "testnet": false, "chain": "main", "biblepay-generate": true }
My hashps is only a little higher then yours and I've gotten three over the past two days. Don't give up it can be very random but on a long enough timeline it'll work out.
