Are his coins just as safe as the coins that were lost in the fork when people did not claim them? Would be interested to find out how many coins were left unclaimed after the fork. How many people lost their coins and why was there no wallet left with all unclaimed coins.
I tried to speak to the Founder in a private message, but he was unwilling to provide answers and suggested we take this to the public forum.
1. How many coins were lost due to not being claimed?
2. Why were the unclaimed coins not kept in a wallet for everyone to see?
3. What was the reason for "burning" the coins other than to have less coins out there and thus have more value in the remaining coins?
4. Who made the decision not to allow valid claims for valid reasons on coins lost?
I understand your frustration, but all coins that do a swap have a cut-off period. I think the MUE team did all they could by communicating here, in Slack, on Twitter, etc. Unlike other coin swaps, the swap ran for around 6 months, so plenty time for occasional users to make the swap. It was also well publicised before the swap happened. So, the time from announcement to close was at least 8 months! As always, some ppl have been left behind. Surely anyone with an investment in an cryptocurrency or any stock/asset should be checking on their investment once in a while? Not longer than 8 months! C. We really did go above & beyond any other crypto project that I'm aware of to publicise and extend the swap as best as we possibly could. As far as I'm concerned, the swap is something that happened in the past and is now irrelevant to the future. |

The quark -> x11 cutoff date was the 25th of June. As such any newly mined coins after the cutoff block where discarded, as the team clearly stated from the start. I can’t check the block number now, however everything mined after the transition block was never valid for a swap.
So it seems you were mining on an invalid chain, thus that hash was pretty much wasted for nothing. I’m not really sure what else there is to do. The invalid coins were not swapped as they shouldn’t be, although I’ll pass the info on so the people running myMUE can double check the transactions.

We don't have any nor will we write one. Most people see a pamflett like broschyr as a "technical white paper" stating what they want to do some year.... some time (like some $_random_ICO). For Monetary Unit we develop value added services for the whole crypto space but give MUE the extra benefit / discount etc thereby increasing the value to either hold or use MUE for real world goods and services. We spend time developing and delivering rater than marketing a "white paper". Zpool dump all the coins that they mine everyday. that's make the price of the coin really hard to keep Usually Zpool mines like 90% of the coins. Rigth now I am trying to fight against them.
