So what is the purpose of Tokyo coin? Is it merely a coin, or will it have any special features? Like privacy, etc?

So this turned out to be a scam. Bitcointalk mods should look into the account involved. Particularly the newbie accounts that became active particularly during this airdrop. I'm sure Satoshi21 was responsible for those.

Seems most of eSomething copycat threads were deleted, eBTC remains!
Thank god. I have more respect for Bitcoint talk. That's good work.

See what I mean, everybody is airdrop crazy as of a couple of days. This thread is bumped and immediately without even reading the thread, 2 posts asking for airdrops please. Don't even bother nor care to read the OP.

This project has really taken off as an airdrop can't wait for the 3rd round to be announced.
There will be no more 3d airdrop , even the 2nd airdrop hasn't been sent to all members , even payment for translators/moderators hasn't been sent even though it should've happened 3 weeks ago , the coin gained insane value so prob the devs think they shouldn't keep their previous schedule . So enjoy it while the hype is lasting , sooner or later the bubble is going to burst. Can you elaborate on this? Wouldn't the value going up keep the dev from fulfilling his promises? If he has something of value, keeping his words will keep things going up, while not keeping it can cause a burst.

I suggest we remove the term airdrop from the the title of thise thread. The front page is filled with air drops today, and they all seem like jokes. eBTC, eNeo, eLitecoin, and so on and so on. even eDoge.
The airdrop phase is over, the title should represent what the prudct is going to be.
Howl | Mobile Social Application | ... I guess add capabilities like messaging, market place.

Hey Rune. Where's the code for the Full Member?
Avatar Spread the word of HOWL guys Anyone who is a Sr.member Hero or Legend member that is willing to wear the signature PM me and I will pay you a bit of howl per week I'll wear it for free. Why not? This coin seems to have potential, everyone who participated should for free, unless they are involved with something else.

The differences between members is so extreme. Ouch. Can't complain though. Overall I guess it is more fair. The higher the rank the more likely it will be legit.

I think this airdrop is only used to collect user data to sell them for good money. They are asking for email, name and country. I don't recommend to type in your real data (except of an email address used for spam).
I'm inclined to agree with the fact that there might be something off about this. Another air drop was distributed yesterday called ebtc, that like this one has 21 million coins and centers around Bitcoin. And like this one all it requires is an email and Ethereum wallet. It's bad because who knows what they will do with the emails, and two one person with hundreds of emails can join and probably will.

Correct me if I'm wrong. (I mistakenly started writing Korrect me if... so funny).
But correct me if I'm wrong, but the OP says that this is the first coin with Tor integrated. But I don't think this is a new thing. Why would they say that?
Hi, KORECoin was the first to integrate Tor into all wallet functionality. A few have come by since then touting Tor and many are claiming as PIVX to be privacy centric setup to:... "Use Over Tor and VPN". Well,... nearly everything can be used over Tor but you have to install Tor and in some countries that puts you on a list just searching for it. With KORE it is integrated on all levels. Not only that but it was integrated correctly. KORE was also first to have VoIP integrated into the wallet and the old dev made this portion completely closed source. In this current legacy wallet the VoIP is no longer functional and we have integrated it in the new wallet to work over Tor. Please read the entire OP page and then,.. read it again. Also read my signature... There is too much tech now attached to the new wallet. It would make sense to just post you the OP page.... MikeMike https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2096416.msg20949347#msg20949347Thanks, I realized soon after that this is not a new coin. Out of courtesy I will try to read more on it and try to understand it since the features do sound interesting.

Hi dev just sent private message now, sent an email few days ago and what understood it was only by email and not a pm here on bitcointalk!
Well then that was mistake because Dev team given clear instruction that kindly PM again also those who emailed as well. So if u missed to PM them here on BCT, then it was your mistake and so u r not among list and u r not going to get any airdrop. As long as concerned to its value, I am not selling it for long time as I am gonna hold all my MEW airdrops coin for a long time enough to become good value for me to earn handsome amount. So I m not gonna miss this opportunity by selling my airdrop coins now so much cheap. Dear Dev team kindly update us after weekend regarding progress regarding next development of this project. Regards No need to yell at the person. There was an unexpected unfortunate situation, and so some users had to resend their address during a 48 hours window. Sometimes people can't be stuck at their computers every second of the day. Maybe they have kids, exhausted from work, and so are not on every minute and might leave logging on to keep updated on things for the next day.

someone already put a whole stakes at $0.0065780142/HOWL on etherdelta Is that for a whole stake, or per coin? Because if it's per coin, it can't be. Do you have a link?

Came to check, very happy to see that I received my coins. This is an incredible opportunity for all involved. Everyone should try to do what they can to build a strong community.

I'm currently downloading this, since I have free hard drive space. I hope it doesn't download the blockchain to host space.
Edit: I need 2,000 Sia coins to host. But that's $7. Can somebody update me on the roadmap for this coin? Is hosting at the moment profitable?
You will need to download the blockchain, about 7GB. It can take longer if you use HDDs instead of SDD, but you can also do it faster with this: https://siawiki.tech/daemon/bootstrapping_the_blockchainYes, you need a to setup some collateral as a guarantee that you will keep the files of the renters intact during the contract time (default: 13 weeks) and you'll keep a good uptime (95-97% of time required as minimal availability). 2000SC is the minimal collateral to setup, but more is needed to host a full TB. All that is returned if you are a good host Roadmap: https://trello.com/b/Io1dDyuI/sia-public-roadmapHosting average prices to be competitive are about 100-150SC/Tb/month (plus some extra in bandwidth pricing). It is profitable if you have already that space available or if you can purchase cheap HDDs. For instance, if you price at $1/Tb/month and buy disks at $20/Tb you do ROI in one year and half. Good disks are prepared to be functional for 5 years or more, so it is not a bad business. Thanks for the information. That 7gb is killing me though, since I was planning on testing it out with 20 gb that I have free. I'll give it a try anyway just to test it out. This actually could be big, the problem is that it needs the same name recognition of a DropBox and Google Drive. Marketing seems like the most important part. Also it needs a way for the average user to use it the same way they use the others, with cash.
