Hello, I'm really excited about Darkcoin, its multiple hashing algos and especially the anonymous transactions. I'm offering the Darkcoin community a new pool: http://drk.plasr.com/PPLNS, 1% fee, stratum on port 7777 I'm taking good care of the server, I host 4 more pools there, all for coins that I like for some reason. Xedoscoin and Skeincoin for the algo and now Darkcoin for the things I mentioned. I'll be really glad if I can help all of us to get Darkcoin rolling.

It is a Skeincoin clone and is fully GPU mineable. Do you intend to add Skeincoin and Xedoscoin to your list?

Let's see what happen when it reach next exchange !!!
And what do you expect to happen? Excanges are not the problem here...

It is rather around 7 minutes at the moment: 82452 date=2014-02-27 07:46:43 82453 date=2014-02-27 07:53:58 Ok, my mistake. But still the trend is visible.

Don't you get it -- when the difficulty skyrockets like this, more and more unconfirmed transactions will appear. Confirmation in the network is partially based on finding new blocks. When nobody finds new blocks (or just several are found in a day... or a week) the transactions will take ages to finish. Dif 4096 is already insanely high, now the average time new coin in mined in the network is 660 minutes (11 hours). Just imagine wat will happen when the diffculty suddenly jumps to 16384 just after some 200 blocks...
And after that even if we get diff down readjustment (not just up like now) it's all lost because we have to wait another 10080 blocks to hope for 4096 again... and if the diff goes up again, it will be 65536... which is totally sick.
Unless the dev does something co correct this, this coin is doomed. And I mean not only it will be impossible to mine, but also will have no value -- because who would want to use a coin that has transaction confirmation period of... let's say several weeks... for at least 6 transaction confirmations.

I doubt it, the difficulty will likely stop rising after this adjustment and get to an equilibrium.
there is no KGW (Kimoto gravity well) and it looks like there is no way for it to re-target the difficulty in any direction other than up.. so by virtue of that, it has no way to reach equilibrium. lol obviously you need to read up a bit more on how this coin works.. im done here... no point in arguing with people who aren't willing to take the time to research what the coin actually does. if you don't believe me read the source code. Err, really? There is no diff readjustment?? I'll find some time today to look in the code. And yes you're right, without readjustment and with such high diff jumps it's really insane business... What's the point of this design, I don't get it... Dev?

www.nxt-e.com is down and these chinese scammers ran away with all deposited coins??? What do you guys think? I can load it now... login/register links work too, but I have no account there to tell if it stopped working. Maybe they just don't have enough people for the support?

OK let's shake this up
I offer a prize for the top 10 shares contributors for the next block that is found on http://ink.plasr.com
#1: 30 INK #2: 20 INK #3: 10 INK #4: 8 INK #5: 7 INK #6: 5 INK #7: 5 INK #8: 5 INK #9: 5 INK #10: 5 INK
total 100 INK (I know it's not much but hey)
If I hapen to be in this list, I'll give away my prize to the people in places 6-10.
Looks like scam. All this "pools" on Plasr.com have 0 miners. Looks like someone just copy-paste mining pool web interface on free shared hosting. Or I'm wrong? You are wrong. I'm paying for these and they are not shared hosting. The 4 pools are for coins that I like -- 3 of them CPU mined, 2 of them skein-based. There are no miners, because the pools are new and the difficulty of these coins is high.

I'm announcing http://doge.plasr.com/ -- Doge Plasr -- a pool for mining Dogecoin. Located in Asia (Singapore). PPLNS Currently -- 0% fee. http://doge.plasr.comThe pool was offline for a short period last night due to migration to a different datacenter. Now it's in the Big Apple. No Dogecoin miners were affected, so we can say it is 100% uptime. PPLNS 0% fee -- you may consider a small donation instead stratum on port 3333 the same server hosts 3 other pools (for Xedoscoin, Skeincoin and Inkcoin), so the machine is monitored all the time.

PS. I was thinking we should put an [ann] out for the cgminer and the new pool. What do you guys think?
Just a quick heads-up for the pool skc.plasr.com -- it is down at the moment, I'm transfering it to a faster datacenter, it should be up shortly afterwards. I'm mentioning this just in case someone tries to check it out now. Sorry for not announcing this downtime. The pool should be up again in a couple of hours max. Sorry I dropped out of irc last night About the pool -- it is up again, it took me longer to move the machine, but now it should be a bit faster. Happy mining!

It works now. Last night (GMT time) I had problems with the server and I wrote here in this thread that it will be unavailable for a while. Now it is up, get a miner and come to mine the coin! I see the difficulty is 4096 now, so unless we're on a pool, there is no chance. This is several times more difficult than Dogecoin, it is even more difficult than Litecoin! I don't know what machines have all the people that solomine right now, but unless one has a dedicated rig for this, I'd say it's totally useless to mine a coin alone with a PC CPU at diff level above 4000...
