made a joke on irc about panda 3.0 cryptsy and got banned... hmm
well seems its that serious Smiley

I am getting so confused.

So which one's the real panda?

PAND
PANDA
PND
PNDA
PDA

and something else that's about to be released.

.....

WTF IS HAPPENING.

I thought pandas are rare and about to go extinct.  But obviously they are reproducing like it's spring.

SCAM !!!

LOL, if you had put some effort into mining this and selling I dunno how you can call it a scam. The IPO people have gotten a nice ROI, you could have gotten approximately the same amount of return mining from the start. I know I like coins I can sell for whole BTCs days after launch. But keep trolling away.

NICE ROI is only on paper right now.  Without people "buying in" they cannot cash out the 3 billion coins.  They would be selling to themselves right now.

If you believe in this, mine and hold

If you don't believe in this, mine and dump

either way it's a win Smiley

@ OP, you still haven't explained how much out of the 3 billion will be held for 6 months?  1 billion?  2 billion?  or 100 million?  Please be more specific.

Since it's 3 billion pre-mined, the cost initially is $0.  Any amount sold to the buyers is pure profit.  So, we need to know how many coins are committed to be held for 6 months.

If you are paying more than 60 satoshi you are ripping yourself off by a false impression of scarcity represented by a simple lack of sell orders on Cryptorush. It is not hard enough to mine to warrant the current price of 95 satoshi. Doge was at least 5 times harder to mine at that price. The dump is going to be huge on Cryptorush but ultimately, very, very small in terms of BTC value. Less than 30 BTC sits between the current price of 95 and 46, it's being pumped quite obviously as at this early stage even Wolong adivsed on IRC not to pay more than 40-60 max satoshi because it can be mined cheaper. What I expect to see is the use of a portion of the premine to dump the price back to the reasonable, stable price level of 45. That is after all what it is premine for, to prevent pump and dumps from manipulating the price or stability of our coin.

We cannot have this coin trading at a value well above what it is theoretically worth going by Mining difficulty and nethashrate. This leads to megadumps that kill coins, much like LOTTO, MOON and CAT.

no offense, you are not making sense.

I thought the OP says 3 billion pre-mine will be held for 6 months (no trades off these balances).

And now you turn around and saying pre-mined will be used to manipulate the price down to an artificial price of 45 satoshi.

So you are dumping the premine.

And in turn you are trying to profit by trading between 45 - 100 satoshi.

124  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: February 10, 2014, 11:34:01 PM
Hello.  I have been running 10 of these in a hub and one in the addition USB port on an old laptop.  They are functioning fine.  No DOAs however I do have to reset everything every once and awhile as usually 2 stop hashing.  Once I reset they are good for awhile.

They are getting hot to the touch.  I moved them to a window sill where its cooler and that has helped.

I ordered more and a bigger hub.  I am mining dogecoin.

the real test is what's the longevity of those things.  will they break in a month? 3 months? 6 months?  and what's the warranty policy?  is the manufacturer going to be in business or will they go out of business and change their name to release yet another miner? (so you have nowhere to turn to for warranty)

I fuckin' hope so. Seriously. It would make me so damn happy.

don't hold your breath, DOGE block halving this week, price will go up even more.

How soon before we see an LTC only usb stick miner? I would pay $100 for a ~140 Kh/s unit but not for the current ones.

It may be available already just off the market.  No one is able to buy until they are no longer profitable Smiley
(isn't this the game ASIC companies are playing?)
127  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: February 08, 2014, 06:11:28 AM
this is why i am confused some people are reporting them to die easy and some are saying there stable devices, cant make my mind up at all

I think those are more risky... Yes they can be used for much longer due to energy cost, "if" they don't wear out right after warranty's over.

Problem really is ASIC cannot be used for anything else.  At least with GPU (if you don't push TOO hard), they can still be used for gaming and resale.

The price those USB sticks cost could potentially be 4x as much than GPU (without looking at power cost, and 50% GPU salvage value reselling as gaming rig).

I am almost tempted to say, if scrypt ASIC arms race is coming on the horizon, it is almost better to just take the money and buy coins straight out, if BTC was any indication.

just my 2 bitcoins.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 08, 2014, 05:25:51 AM
anybody else getting horrible payouts? multi pool 24 hours 283 doges, gimme a break. Fast pool for 2 hours 1.someshit doges, I'm trying netcodepool now. what the hell is going on today?

you still don't understand it's pointless mining a coin with endless supply?...*go ask Big Gavin why Bitcoin is valuable==> limited supply!!!

;-)

worse can be said to BTC.  Last BTC to be produced in year 2140 (over 100 years from now), is equivalent to "unlimited" supply during my life time.

and who knows if the consensus over the next 126 years is to make BTC "unlimited" too.  but that's beyond my life time for me to care about.
