121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 17, 2020, 02:26:29 AM
Oooooh yes! We even surpass the $21 000 barrier!

IMO we all are too excited and I'm afraid how the marker will react on a $2K-$3K correction. But now it's time to celebrate the new ATH!
122  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Brobler.com - First browser extension for instant cryptocurrency exchange on: December 16, 2020, 01:39:13 AM
IMO this is the biggest obstacle - security concerns.

The plugin is convenient if you need some conversions on the fly. But I cannot use it until it becomes open-source or at some (very) trusted party/company audit it.

123  Economy / Auctions / Re: COVID related domain names on: December 16, 2020, 01:08:59 AM
Bump.

Ideal domains for any coronavirus related business as masks, protective equipment, etc. Or even a meme portal to mock the coronavirus.

As it's modern - Christmas promotion: Starting bid: 0.005 BTC for ALL domains at once!

I want somebody to use it.
124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: December 15, 2020, 02:39:12 AM

The US electoral college confirmed Bidden's victory:

https://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2020-55312272

It's official now and all bookies have to pay! I'm sure that Trump will continue with the court attempts, but the electoral college has its vote.

125  Economy / Speculation / Re: When moon? ($500k / $1 million / $2 million) on: December 15, 2020, 01:05:11 AM
IMO we will not see such numbers in the next ten year at least.

Maybe after another couple of halving, perhaps only in our dreams. Its too far away from now to have realistic speculation.
126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Horses - In Running Trading Tool on: December 15, 2020, 12:33:58 AM
I know there are also many users who use a tool at betfair to trade their bets i thought that was betangel but that is years and years ago don't know if that already exists
that tool did automatic the trading and you could even set a % that you want as profit

Betangel is trading software. It was okay 7-8 years ago but BA did not add any new functions from years. The only good they did is that BA now has a monthly sub for almost fair price.

The OP (http://www.in-running-trading-tool.co.uk/) is entirely different.

I got an email today promoting this In Running Trading Tool: http://www.in-running-trading-tool.co.uk/

The offer came from Caan Berry, a well-respected trader so I could be legit and working. Does anybody used it and what was your impression?

Well they have "Special Offer: Get 7 days FREE today before you pay a penny"! I am not sure what's there all about (maybe they will ask for some additional money?!), but you can try it and you can give us your review! If they give you some good tips you can try them with some small amount... maybe they are legit after all! I can't say anything about them, sites looks interesting, it's very simple, I spent some time reading what they have to say...usual "this is a great way to make profit" lines, covered in some other stuff! I will not make any conclusions from that!

I am not sure is it a proper section for this?! This is not gambling definitely! It can be trading, but in my opinion it's more like a service, so this topic belongs to service discussion board?! I'm never sure about those things (I am not a moderator)!

And just to add I will not be the one who will try this, that's for sure!

I tried in-running betting in the past... I can assure you that IT IS gambling and not trading Cheesy (P.S. some mod moved the topic anyway)

I know about the trial and I signed-up. But I wanted an opinion from anybody whos already using it; is any of the three main strategies profitable in a mid-long run, etc.

127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adult companies and bitcoin? on: December 14, 2020, 03:17:19 AM
It's childish to think that a single site (even the biggest porn one) could move the whole market. Cryptocurrencies are still a nerd niche and far from mass adoption.

Pornhub could raise other things... but cannot be a reason behind a bull run in a 500 billion market.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 14, 2020, 02:56:13 AM
IMO the second graph is representing gambling habits more accurate.

The first graph about losses count to be valid too, but doesn't represent gambling frequency.

Countries like Australia, France and Spain have rigid gambling regulations and closed markets, so people you could see some gambling decline there. For example, Spain recently voted against VPNs and that using a VPN to gamble in a non-state licenced site is a crime.

130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability Texas Hold 'Em on: December 13, 2020, 01:54:31 AM
This list is a good overview for beginners but Texas holdem pros know exactly what to expect from a hand based on their experience. They know that if 2 aces are down in the cards and they have 2 aces in their hand it is going to be a massive win for them in 99.99% of the cases.

This is a myth...

You could put some opponents on ranges. It would be best if you always tried to do it. But knowing in 99.99% of the cases is far away from reality.

For example, some opponent types like the passive calling stations, you could not even put them in any range because they are calling your bets with any two cards. In this situation, you are bet/bet/bet with any MID+ and hoping for the best Cheesy
131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 13, 2020, 01:35:48 AM
90% of the time I'm trading alts and the rest are some BTC/USD(T)(C) hedging and securing positions trades.

I find it works well for me because I'm following almost every promising new coin and buying on the news, selling after. The most annoying is that a big chunk of time is passing through meaningless messages and tweets.
132  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 | Instant Withdrawals on: December 13, 2020, 12:44:45 AM
Hi,

Do you request a KYC?
BetBTC doesn't require KYC. When you open the site, after a few seconds you will notice a pop-up message that says that all you need to provide them with when registering a new account is an email address and password, and there is no KYC. But if you are using multiple accounts or you access the site from restricted locations, the casino might become interested to know who you are and ask for additional information.

Thanks you. I will try them.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: December 13, 2020, 12:40:22 AM
Joshua knocks out Pulev. It is all over.

What's your assessment on Joshua?

Is he ready to face the Gypsy King and be the king in the Heavyweight division?

He's ready, but most probably, Furry will be the favorite.

Joshua was, without a doubt, was the better player tonight. Pulev doesn't stand a chance (and cost me my bet Joshua to win by decision Sad As I read somewhere after the match - Pulev was awkward but not a threat...
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability Texas Hold 'Em on: December 12, 2020, 02:39:33 AM
Knowing the Frequency of hands have small to none real value in play.

What you must learn is to count your outs correctly and calculate your odds post-flop. The rule of thumb is, for easy calculation, that one out is 2% on the Turn and 1.75% in you continue to the River.

Example: You have a flush draw, nine outs. Chances to fill the flush on the Turn are roughly 20% and another 15% to the River, 35% to Showdown.
Learn the Basic Math – Odds and Percentages (http://www.pokerology.com/lessons/drawing-odds/) and you are good to go.

Most crucial after that are the observation and note-taking abilities, and adjustment to those observations.

135  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: December 12, 2020, 01:22:23 AM
Paypal's adoption of crypto is good for the whole community. The current bull run is one of the few good stuff in 2020.

But I would never ever trust PayPal to buy *and keep* any coins there. I had problems with eBay/PP and frozen account year ago and from that point, I don't trust them.

Hi,

Do you request a KYC?

Currently I'm betting in Nitrogen as they are KYC-free and this is the whole point of the crypto-gambling. But I want to have an option to use crypto-exchange.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 12, 2020, 12:41:30 AM
Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul is with only one goal - honey money pot.

I never bet on exhibition fights or similar events. IMO it's a pure gamble and I like to think that at least my decisions are based on some info, not only luck. Plus Paul is amateur.

When people are ready to pay, why they should refrain from conducting such fights? During this pandemic period, tens of millions are working from home and are desperate for live sporting action. Mayweather and Paul are using this opportunity to make some quick money for themselves. I agree that Paul is an amateur.. but at the same time, we can't forget the fact that Mayweather is 43 years old and well past his prime.

As a show, as an act, I don't mind the fight at all. I will (most probably) watch it and enjoy it.

But I'm not betting on it. I'm not particularly eager to gamble to that level of uncertainty.

139  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: December 11, 2020, 03:25:10 AM
One year later...

But joking aside, this pandemic f*ked up a lot of people and business.

IMO the "new-normal" will continue for at least another year even with a vaccine. I'm reading more and more about vaccine passports for flying, attending the 2021 Olympics, etc.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: December 11, 2020, 03:13:13 AM
45 votes in the poll so far

37 vote for Joshua
7 votes for Pulev
1 votes for a draw

I still do not think Joshua will have an easy fight. I think he will win but it will be a points decision and Joshua might face some tough moments in the fight too.

The match will not be easy for Joshua for sure. Yet Joshua reach is 208.3 cm, while Pule has a reach of 202 cm and is older.

IMO the best is Joshua to win with a unanimous decision. The odds jumped from 3.80 to 5.00 and I took it at 5.00 a few minutes ago.
