121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for cold storage on: July 23, 2015, 11:33:35 AM
Best hardware wallet should be Trezor, you can find it here: https://www.bitcointrezor.com/
Paper wallets are not as safe as you think, just do a small research and you will know Smiley

How aren't they as safe as you think? They are as safe as it gets IMO. Paper will never deteriorate if you cover it with plastic, and even if the wallet is found a password still needed, so I dont see the problem.

Paper as a paper can be safe, but you have to trust the thing that generated you the paper wallet you have and if it wasn't compromised right after the generation was done.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 23, 2015, 11:28:27 AM
Well some of the steps that he suggest was an additional information to me like the site he suggest and some terms that I didn't know. So thanks to him. After all it's still not possible to have BTC1/week. If it does maybe the OP is rich now and go for vacation that's why he's not posting. Tongue

1 BTC/week is under $300. That's a job at McDonald's. So yes, it's VERY possible to earn over a BTC a week. But like the real world, people aren't just going to hand it to you.

1 BTC/week is a job at McDonald's? Really? That's 4 BTC/month and that's about $1200, I don't where you live, but here, in central EU, is $1200 for a job in McDonald's a dream.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: July 23, 2015, 11:23:22 AM
bitcoin in my country may not legalitas payment but many people always start pay with bitcoin Cheesy

What is your country? I want to know more about your country, if it's good or not.. I have a bunch of BTC and I want to move to any country where I can freely pay with my BTC Smiley
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tumblers don't actually work... do they? on: July 23, 2015, 10:46:53 AM
If you are suspicious and they track your first address, then mixer ( tumbler ) is useless if you transfer 100% of the amount to another address and pay with it, because they will know, but if you send 12%, 48% and 40% to three different addresses than it really works.

126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 23, 2015, 10:43:39 AM
I heard about Bitcoin on one forum about making money online ( no longer interested in this, trolls Tongue ) and one new user posted something about bitcoin faucets ( they were giving freakin' big amounts compared to today's rates, but rate for USD was lower. I got high amount of BTC just from faucets and later from referrals, but then I gambled it all away Sad
127  Economy / Services / Re: I need signature design for all ranks on: July 23, 2015, 10:18:40 AM
I will offer 0.1 for signature designs its someone who can do it faster?
From what I could see usually if you want to start signature campaign and need a signature you start a contest. Then you choose the best signature.
Prize is usually higher that 0.1 and is around 0.2-0.25 it is better to wait a bit and have superb signature from open contest that buy some half-assed sig cheap.

Yes, you should start a thread here with all the rules and prizes for 1 - 5 participants.. also be aware of fakers! I don't know if you made your signature or if you paid for it, but it's a copy of this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1067700.0 Just check their signatures and look for the member one Smiley
128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Check Out This Site Powered Only On Bitcoin !!! on: July 23, 2015, 10:16:28 AM
Hey, is there any referral or affiliate system? If yes, how much % can we get let's if someone spend 100mBTC through affiliate link? And again, if there's any affiliate, can we get paid if we bring you some streamers? It would be amazing since I have some people that would be really satisfied with this site, but I won't tell them until you have some affiliate system Tongue
129  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: July 23, 2015, 10:04:40 AM
doesn't this completely undermine the integrity of trust ratings?

unless they manage to scam more than what they've payed for the account, there should not be a problem, the problem can occur if two users decide to scam and collaborate

i want to explain it better, if two users buy two account with high trust, for whatever reason, one of the two can do the malicious escrower for the second which result in the possibility of steal a big amount

maybe it's better to use only official escrow that have signed an address

But someone could buy the bitcoin address too as part of the package. The only way I can see to avoid this is if the seller is willing to do a brief video chat/hold a physically signed message in front of a camera unique to each sale.

Anything else can be transferred to the new owner, anything but not the sellers face.

dude, even if they buy the address they can't sign it so it's useless, that's the whole point of signing an address, because that address belong only to one users, unless the buyers and the selelrs are friend that know each other in real life and share the same wallet

wait if I buy the address I basically buy the private key so I can sign a message... that's the whole point of it, if you sell your account you should find your oldest address, empty it, export the private key and give it to the buyer so he can sign it without doubts.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Test yourself: Are you a Bitcoin expert ? on: July 23, 2015, 09:58:45 AM

I wish you all luck in this test, please post your results here too.. Tongue

Oh, friend.. this is so low. I can do (maybe Tongue) nice designs for your adult site, but I want more for it and I think I'm not the only one...
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month. on: July 23, 2015, 09:38:57 AM
today is 23. July, but the price is only less than $300

and it's so unlikely that it will go higher..

Yes that's it.. but I'm sure that if we hold our BTC for a very long time we will make some good money!
But it won't be in these months, nothing is that fast...
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 23, 2015, 09:26:48 AM
I lost a lot of BTC long time ago, so it was nothing for me, but today? If I lose the same amount today, I would be homeless.. I think you can guess how much BTC it was Tongue
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: July 23, 2015, 09:22:18 AM
I think yes, because gold is going down... and why not? Bitcoin can crash more than only gold.. we just need to do something for it, bring more people to Bitcoin and let big companies accept it Smiley
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a national currency? on: July 23, 2015, 09:20:58 AM
Absolutely no way something like that would work with Bitcoin in it's current form. Can you imagine a whole economy trying to adjust to Bitcoin's whims every few minutes? Plus interfacing with the rest of the world would be near impossible, like trying to force an HDMI connector into an AV socket  Cheesy

Why do you think this? Can you please explain it to me, why won't it work good?
I can't really see any problem if I don't mind about banks that can't control it..
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research survey on: July 23, 2015, 09:12:33 AM
Completed, I hop it will help.

Great survey, amazing questions!
137  Economy / Services / Re: Buy me something, I pay you in bitcoins on: July 23, 2015, 09:08:21 AM
I can do it 1:1 with no fee.. I just want to make some new friends here ^^
Let me know what themes you want and if you are still interested..
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree to raise the block size limit to 20 megabytes or not? on: July 23, 2015, 09:04:37 AM
And that's really the debate, how and when, not if.

And I find that sad. I believe the debate should be about a way of giving back the ability for any client to add transactions to the block chain, getting rid of blocks altogether (or viewed another way, block size=1 transaction) and load balancing the distribution of blocks. Mining and including transactions in the block chain need to be separate, IMO.

 Huh

then you should design your own coin  Smiley

No please, no more bullshit and useless coins.. there's only profit for devs and it's sad.
There was not a good coin for very long time and they should make something useful.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 23, 2015, 08:58:26 AM
Yes.

Can you please post more informations? Like how much BTC do you have or how did you get your first Bitcoin and if you plan to hold it or if you are spending it...?
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin anonymity on: July 23, 2015, 08:57:14 AM
Bitcoin is actually not anonymous, but it's pseudo-anonymous. If you send just random transactions then you are anonymous, but if you want to buy something from bitfinex then you are not.

Absolutely spot-on, check walletexplorer.com out if you have doubts.

What is ths website about and how to use it? I don't understand what those numbers that are on the website means... can you please explain it to me?
