Today is the last day of mining with high reward, right? Sadly I can't find any normal RIG ar miningrigrentals to mine it. Tried one and it didnt work, luckily the support refunded all my spent funds.
There are still 3000 blocks left which is at least 3 days more  Ah, that nice, I will put all my RIGs to mine it now, I would also buy it but I'm not registered anywhere it presents now. I wait for Crex24 to list SINOVATE, any estimated date of that? Next week  You guys want to see if the hardfork will be successful and smooth,then listing on crex24 right? Good thinking... |

We already decided on the block height of the hardfork and it will be at block 262.000
Today we will have our final test and we will release the wallet for upgrade.
Hardfork wallet will include;
- Diff retargeting algo change from DGW2 to LWMA for more security and 51% attack protection
- Reorg solution of RVN with 55 blocks for 51% Attack protection
- Removal of Shadowsend(privatesend) anonymity option because of the regulations for privacy
- Treasury funds increase from 1.1% to 10% for further development, marketing and funds for big exchanges
- POW rewards decrease from 250 SIN to 25 SIN
- More bug fixes for more stability
- 375 limit of nodes on each tiers

T-Rex has the algo optimised maximum that is why no private miners or no new faster miners for X25X.
t-rex is not optimized to the maximum. why not make a faster one to prove? |

Maybe SIN team must wait for a little while for new exchanges because things may change in the near future...
Regulations, KYC and bear market especially for altcoins will bring more surprises about exchanges...

The problem can be virtually eliminated by running the cpuminer at a lower priority than the
GPU miner. When the GPU's CPU support thread needs to run it will immediately preempt a
cpuminer thread. Other than a dirty cache it's the same as if the CPU had been idle.
Running the cpuminer at a lower prio will also prevent it from competing with other processes
running at the default prio.

They work very hard and from what i saw in crypto in all these years some projects can continue steady for a long time but suddenly one day things change. We will all see this from SIN. Lux is preparing their own flavor of RandomX called RX2. It is said it will favor both gpus and cpus equally.
Miner for RX2 would be needed too...

I´m a SINer too, here from old SUQA days.
Everyday reading on Discord, everyday something intresting to read, made friends there.
every project has lovers and haters.
Haters gonna hate, this is a rule we must remember.
To be fair, it´s really hard to find a project with this DEVS compromise, their commitment is huge.
They help set up a node, restore a wallet, run a vps, they paid back stolen rewards, switched wallet.dat with an exchange for quick wallet solution.
I have just 2 words for everybody: what else?

I personally think dual mining from cpu and gpu will be the future of mining.
With ASICs and FPGAs taking over more and more algos I'm not so sure. Well i think that is why CPU mining will be interesting with especially high core CPUS because of the ASICS and FPGAS are trying to take over. Randomx is the first breed of those kind of algorithms. There are much more GPU rigs out there than ASICS and FPGAS. They all have a CPU too so lets hope those CPUS will worth something. the first one with similar algo was raven coin, as far as I remember. then there were pigen coin... and then new version of that algo (x16r) but as far as I know asic's manufacturer has already developed the asic for x16r.. it took about a year or so... so I guess with this new algo the situation will like wise... we will see new asics capable to mine this algo and the cpu and gpus will be out.. It is a Cat and Mouse game. We are not going to sell our GPUS just because they will have ASICS and FPGAS, there will always be new algos and dynamic active projects will switch to those algos imho. |

I don't want to open another thread because i am afraid jmigdlc99 will get jealous but how feasible is it to mine Randomx like CPU favored algos with VPS?
There are tons of masternodes using VPS for their nodes. Can they mine with those too?

I disagree. Dual mining is not discussed that much. It's a wothwhile topic. The spammers are the ones that only criticize the idea as a waste of time. i agree with you 100%... |

Beam can be mined with 3gb cards. gminer. (windows 7,8.1 or linux)
Grin29 can be mined with 4/6gb cards. gminer (windows 7,8.1 or linux)
for 2gb cards monero / randomx?
