121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good or bad way to avoid high transaction fee? on: December 23, 2023, 04:51:57 PM
It is an altcoin that is pegged to bitcoin price. The risk is that if something happen to the altcoin, it can be depegged. The real bitcoin are the ones on the bitcoin blockchain and lightning network.
Exertly my thoughts too, Bitcoin on Binance chain isn't like the real Bitcoin in properties, it's only pegged to the value of Bitcoin and as Bitcoin rise or fall so does it, a good example is the stable coin that is pegged to the value of dollars.
The Bitcoin on Binance chain isn't as secured as the original Bitcoin because binance can make a decision on the former and many people holding it as Bitcoin would be greatly affected.

More troubles for Manchester united as a recovering west ham side defeated them. The particular reason for such circumstance in my own opinion is due to the team management. The mentality of winning is already lost and the dressing room need a breath of fresh air now.
Today's match has nothing to do with the very controversial keeper Andre Onana but more on the tactics Manchester united goes in to the game with.
The hard decision has to be made, Manchester united needs to let go of Ten Hag.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifted wife with bitcoin money on birthday and wife happily gifted BTC logo on: December 22, 2023, 09:02:18 PM
Happy birthday to your wife, well my girlfriend would prefer I buy her a very good hand bag than I give her Bitcoin, Lolz, well regardless I prefer giving people a gift they value the most, I have seen many people forcing Bitcoin down the throat of their loved ones, in terms of giving gift always go for what the person would cherish and adore.
I am a Bitcoin enthusiast but I would love my birthday gift in other things I would value and cherish.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [FINAL] FIFA Club World Cup; Manchester City vs Fluminense on: December 22, 2023, 07:40:41 PM
This wasn't a contest for Manchester city as they are meant to beat Fluminense and as it stands the game is 3:0 in favour of Manchester city.
The consistency of European teams always beating the very best clubs in other continent shows how far apart the European teams are from others.
I think this should not be a contest anymore as the outcome of this sort of matches are already known. Although this also a chance for players of the lesser team to showcase their skills and talents in such competition and who knows it may just help their future.
125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ‘MS Drainer’ scammers used Google Ads to swipe $59M in crypto: Report on: December 22, 2023, 05:51:24 PM
It is sad that a large amount of people lost hell lot of money but at the same time this is very outstanding like it is not an easy task to bypass the Google AdSense audits and system checks and run ads with malware on it.
[/quote]
I would have to disagree with you right now mate, I think it's now easy for scammers to bypass the very gullible Google Ad audit or what ever regulates such things.
Google themselves should not be fully trusted with the fact that Google are spying on their users privacy and Turing it in a form of money making scheme for them through bombarding their users with ads relating to their interest.
Now this is why you need to have your wallet offline, you actually can not be too careful on the internet anymore, anyone can fall a victim to this but having an cold storage wallet comes in handy.

126  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis everywhere it's time to come together and unite on: December 21, 2023, 08:32:07 PM
This is a taught of a novice and it's so funny how you taught about this, the world wasn't meant to be fair and getting income was also not meant to be easy.
It's not possible a coin is created here and airdrops are given to users just for the price to increase and the coins are sold, the market can't be manipulated that way
Crisis is sure every where and many countries are battling inflation what we can do now is to find out more skills that could help us boost our financial capacity, the more you realise that no one is coming to save you the better for you.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 21, 2023, 06:22:20 PM
Writing Manchester city off the English premier league title race this early is a very foolish thing to do. We have seen several times where other teams had a good gap on Manchester city at the top spot but later on Manchester city turned it around to take home the English premier league title from that Team.
I actually want the title to go Arsenal way j think it's fair for them to have it, they have been consistent in recent seasons and we have seen them play well so its only fair it goes to the Gunners but that's not how things are done, the team that are more hungry alway wins it
128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A piece of advise to everyone. on: December 21, 2023, 05:57:31 PM
I don't think your were wrong, it's quite okay to argue about what you believe is right, you can't know it all that's why we keep learning everyday. I have engaged in a Crypto-currency discussion argument where I ended up being the one that was wrong but by speaking up on my thoughts I was able to understand more about the topic.
As a newbie question everything, have something to say, that's why you need to build your own knowledge a bit by doing your own research but one thing I would advice is that you always be open to learning.
129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pro btc members here make Same mistake and newbies don't know that about btc on: December 20, 2023, 07:45:02 PM

So I trust bitcoin because it's a big thing, and with such a big thing, before something happens to it, all the information and warnings have to be seen first, and they have to be visible very early on, because people think if blackrock would lose huge amounts of money because some exchange didn't inform it early then the manager of this exchanger would be fired from day one know that big money always will direct the market and you should swim with the whales and your wealth will be protected.
Good luck to all
How can the reason for you to trust Bitcoin be because it's a big thing? If this is your reason then you need to do your own research yourself and understand what Bitcoin is really all about, and mind you there have been lots of so called big things that later ended up as failures.
In as much as the interest of some entities would bring Bitcoin a larger audience I think we don't need some of them because of their power hunger, many of this entities are looking towards the centralisation of Bitcoin white as a Bitcoin enthusiast I believe would be the downfall of Bitcoin.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 20, 2023, 06:54:47 PM
It's half time and Barcelona are playing a draw to Almeria. I don't know what other signs the Barcelona management wants to see to figure out that Xavi Hernandez is just not the coach for the club, Barcelona should be blowing Almeria away right now.
The attack of Barcelona is becoming a weak threat, Okay Gundogan is not finding life as easy for him as he did at Manchester city, he isn't having the freedom to make those runs into the box any more.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake vs Drake Event: a total ripoff on: December 18, 2023, 07:33:00 PM
What do you expect? They should just give out money just like that? Stake is a business and they aren't in it to lose money stupidly. You can't call them a rip-off because of giveaways. Besides most give aways are channeled at rewarding their loyal customer and those who are risk takers, this is a business strategy to encourage more of that action from their customers, you can't blame them for doing that. If you are business inclined you know that it's better to set a reward for you best customers and also this can serve as an enticing event for customers to step up their games.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 18, 2023, 05:56:06 PM
Barcelona FC of Spain vs Napoli of Italy. This is going to be a very interesting match up in my own opinion, two teams with great history and both former teams of the late great Diego Maradona. It's sad that currently both teams aren't as strong as they were last season especially Napoli and this makes the encounter very even.
Both teams Do not have so much problems scoring goals as they hardly go into a match without scoring but their main issues has been defensively, both teams are very porous.
This match would be very hard to predict as it can go either ways and it's been a while both teams faced each other, although I think based on champions league experience and history Barcelona would just edge out Napoli slightly on this one.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 18, 2023, 05:26:48 PM
Well I must be honest I would choose the international based online casino, one I actually don't trust Some of my local online casinos, some people has complained of delayed payment of winnings and at worse no payment of winnings at all and also some have complained about the games being unfair, this does not mean that there aren't good local based on casinos in my country, for my peace of mind I would choose a very reputable international based online casino for now.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: Used cars and real estate market very volatile and a lot people will fomo in on: December 18, 2023, 03:44:04 PM
Totally agree with your assertion because real estate and housing in 2023 was a bumpy and rough one as purchasing power across the globe kept decreasing year on year same happened with used cars in 2023 as people prefer to maintain what they have now than buying another, either new or used, and 2024 won't be any different as most countries are going through recession that is difficult to curb
You can not generalise those types of market, I am not familiar with the used cars market but I am a bit familiar with the real estate market and one thing is that you don't generalise the real estate market.
There are factors that affects the value or situation of real estate market and the biggest factor is it's location if it's a sorted after location the value of it is expected to grow, but other factors like the condition, previous owners etc can also play part in the value.
135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy bitcoin ETF now? on: December 18, 2023, 01:15:01 PM
Why are you looking forward to future complications I don't understand what the buzz for to buy the Bitcoin ETF is all about and I actually don't associate myself with the drama.
The more complicated the crypto-currency space is the more breeding ground for scammers. If you are interested in Bitcoin you can always get a wallet get some Bitcoin and save them in your wallet it's that simple.

137  Economy / Economics / Re: Forces of Inflation: Turkey's Central Bank Boss Will Move In With Her Parent on: December 17, 2023, 05:39:29 PM
It's either an exaggeration or a fake news for fun and laughter, although I am not denying the fact that turkey is facing inflation, the country economy has been hit had with inflation in recent time and from last I checked the situation hasn't gotten better either way.

This problem is not only peculiar to turkey developed countries and developing countries has been experiencing such fate and my country Nigeria is amongst those hot had our currency drops in value almost everyday and the current value for 1 dollar to a Niara is about 1200 Naira.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 17, 2023, 03:58:21 PM
Arsenal gets very lucky as they are now a goal up on Brighton and HoverAlbion, this was always going to be a very difficult game and a big test for Arsenal, all I can say is that they really turned up and now the pressure has been shifted to Liverpool.
Manchester city threw away their chances to take three points away from yesterday's game against crystal palace and now their troubles continues as Arsenal looks to be having the three points today.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin as digital currency on: December 17, 2023, 02:49:53 PM
The truth is that no government can reach success in completely blocking the use of Bitcoin in their country.
Is not possible for them to do that, Bitcoin decentralised nature already offer Bitcoin enthusiast that protection and safety they need, the issue that may arise for Bitcoin enthusiast and the government that are against Bitcoin is centralisation, for example making using of centralised exchanges like binance can give your personal identity out and some exchanges are channeled towards the requirements of the government.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20,000 btc moved on: December 16, 2023, 08:00:15 PM
I just picked up my phone to make this reply, but guess what it does not matter to anyone, the fact that you made it suspicious talking about unknown wallet, yes it's meant to be an unknown wallet because you aren't expected to know all the Wallet.
The fact that Bitcoin transaction can be transparent doesn't officially make you a detective snooping on other people's business uninvited.
