Analyst: Major Bull Run Has Already Started▪️ Simon Dedic says that the recent influx of money into the crypto space is evidence that a strong bull market has already begun. ▪️ In his opinion the current climate in the crypto landscape is in many ways reminiscent of 2017’s ICO boom. A whole host of new projects are popping up, with token sales selling out in hours, especially in the decentralized finance arena. Recent months have seen a surge of fresh money entering the crypto markets. ▪️ Dedic agrees that the latest DeFi craze is reminiscent of the ICO-mania in 2017, and feels that it is likely to play out in a similar way: “It’s a narrative. Many interesting concepts arise that might change the financial sector. However, many useless cash grabs will as well.” ▪️ With fresh money coming into the market, Dedic believes that we will see another strong bull market, and that it has already started, if slowly.

Authorities Can’t Shut Down BitcoinBarry Silbert, head of Grayscale Investments believes that US authorities can’t ban Bitcoin. Silbert claims the government simply doesn’t have the power to do so! 💬 "There's enough support in DC from policy makers and regulators that Bitcoin has a right to exist and ultimately you can't shut it down", said Silbert. He made the statements during a Grayscale investor call. The investment firm CEO also said he was “cautiously optimistic” about the future legal status of Bitcoin. However, only time will tell how accurate is Silbert’s forecast on the matter.

Is it possible to hack Bitcoin?🔸 Сryptocurrency critic Peter Schiff wonders whether the recent hack of verified profiles on Twitter is “a harbinger of Bitcoin itself being hacked.” 🔸 In a July 16 tweet, Schiff mentioned yesterday’s mass hack of verified Twitter profiles which were used to promote a Bitcoin scam, further suggesting that it could be a prelude to a hack of the cryptocurrency itself. 🔸 Analysts and crypto experts did not agree with Peter Schiff's suggestion, noting that the scammer’s decision to use Bitcoin was probably motivated by authorities inability to censor and reverse Bitcoin transactions. Also, many experts recalled that it is almost impossible to crack Bitcoin - this cryptocurrency has a decentralized protocol, thousands of nodes, everything is transparent and auditable. All of those features make the network much harder to hack than Twitter.

Indian Farmers Will Use Blockchain for Supply ChainsOne of India’s largest farm producer organizations (FPO), Sahyadri Farmers Producer Co, is integrating blockchain into its business process for its supply chains to increase efficiency and transparency in the traceability of food products. The founder of Sahyadri, Vivek Shinde, said that in the present scenario, farmers get only 25% of the final price of sold goods. However, with increased efficiency through blockchain implementation, they can share as much as 50% of their revenue with farmers. The organization expects to use blockchain-based data sharing to improve trust in its pricing and sales information that it shares with farmers and buyers. Blockchain integration will further allow customers to trace products back to the individual farmer who produced it. Customers will be able to do so using QR codes or digital maps attached to the products. It is a worldwide tendence - an increasing number of blockchain companies are now working in the agriculture industry to increase efficiency and help farmers earn better revenue.

DeFi Offers Potential Investment Opportunities 🔸 Decentralized finance, or DeFi, offers potential growth opportunities said the chief executive of digital assets management company HyperChain Capital Stelian Balta. He said DeFi “has a huge opportunity to grow”. “I believe DeFi space has a huge opportunity to grow and one of the leaders in DeFi space, Kyber Network, just crossed $1 billion dollars in trading volume and project market cap is worth more than $300 million dollars, which I think is way undervalued. Also, we think the best platforms for creating blockchain games are platforms using EOSIO inspired technologies, such as Wax.io.” 🔸 Balta noted getting an “inflation hedge” like Bitcoin in a portfolio can mitigate risk. He added he is “bullish on the crypto market long term, especially in DeFi and that’s the reason why we are continuing to invest, to improve and build in the crypto ecosystem”.

New Bitcoin Price Model Suggests ‘Exponential’ Bull Run in One MonthOn-chain analyst Willy Woo published a new Bitcoin price model showing a new BTC bull run could begin in 30 days. Woo said: “This is a new model I'm working on, it picks the start of exponential bull runs. Bitcoin was setting up for a bullish run until the COVID white swan killed the party. This model suggests we are close to another bullish run. Maybe another month to go.” Bitcoin has shown a relatively low level of volatility for well over a month, defending the $9,000 support level. And If the price of Bitcoin remains stable for longer, Woo said that it could strengthen the next breakout.
