121  Economy / Reputation / Meriting Your Alt is allowed? on: June 06, 2022, 04:12:08 AM
I saw a lot of drama in this forum regarding meriting alt accounts. I saw some people also got tagged because they merited their alt accounts. Forum members believe this is not a good practice. I can gather up a lot of harsh replies from the community when someone merited their alt account. But, I will not spend my time there since almost everyone thinks the same. As I also noticed, Meriting alt is not a merit abuse according to forum rules. But, Moderators discourage users not to doing this.

When you check Bitcointalk Stats From Here,

You will see that philipma1957 Is the Number 1 Top poster on this forum. He has made over 39241+ Posts in this forum since his registration date (With this account only). He is an DT1 Member. He is Top 2 in the Most Recognized Member. He is Number 21 On the Most Trusted Member list. He is number 17 in both Most Activity and Most Merited members.

He already has four accounts (5 from now)

With the philipma1957 account, He included his cellphone account on his trust list which makes his cellphone account DT2 (I guess it's allowed).

philipma1957 Trusts these users' judgement:
26. Philipma1957cellphone (Trust: neutral) (125 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

He also merited his cellphone account from his main account.

Merit received by Philipma1957cellphone (Trust list) from January 24, 2018 until May 27, 2022 (source)

That was too old Story.
Today, I noticed he created another account named: a1 Hashrate LLC2022 and self-verified -

I am  a philipma1957 alt. I will be using this newly formed account.
I will verify with philipma1957 in 1 minute.
I am  a philipma1957 alt. I will be using this newly formed account.
I will verify with philipma1957 in 1 minute.

Yeah this is me and I am going fully formal and will use the business account  a1 hashrate LLC2022

A few minutes later he made another post and Merited his this alts too.

With due respect, I know He is a great contributor to this forum. Almost 40K posts are no joke.
But, My question is- When a low ranked user gets caught by others meriting his alts, I see DT members give harsh replies and expose them in a toxic way. Some of them Added them to the Distrust list and also some DT members tag them.

No offence to philipma1957. But, I want to see how they react when it comes to the Top Contributor of this forum.

122  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Who Is To Blame?, The Celebrity Or The Fans? on: June 05, 2022, 01:26:11 AM
The Short answer is- The Fans.

In the crypto world, there is a saying. Don't trust, Verify.
You have to understand yourself. You have to know what you are doing. If you don't know what you are doing, You will discover yourself in a grave in no time.

The hacker should get all the blames and celebrity a part of the blames, many fans are following their idols blindly, they expect their idols to be responsible and protect them, and celebrities should know the responsibilities of what their fans are giving to them, I don't want to be victim-blaming but fans are fans they sometimes become blind you can't reason on them when it comes to personality or groups they idolize.

Of course, the hacker is the main one to blame. But, When the question is Who is more responsible for the damage, It's The Fans.
I understand that fans always trust their Idols. But, When it comes to money and life-changing decision. It would help if you didn't rely on their opinion.

I follow Elon musk a lot. He loves Bitcoin and me too. But, He loves Doge as well, and I don't love it. You don't have to be like your Idol.
Most successful people wake up in the early morning doesn't mean I have to follow them to be successful. I work remotely on my computer at night, and I sleep late, so I wake up late. People think I am Jobless stupid who always sleeps in the daytime. So, Don't follow Idols when it comes to money and life-changing decision. Don't trust, Verify.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer Scientists say Crypto Industry is Misleading??? on: June 02, 2022, 01:35:39 AM
It's not secure, it's not decentralized. Any system where you forget your password and you lose your life savings is not a safe system.

I agree with Solosanz, and I guess others (Who know about Bitcoin) will be agreed. About password, This is the reason almost every Wallet and software suggest you store your keys safely. If you cannot take the risk, You shouldn't drive a bike or car too. It has the chance of a crash, and you may die. What a non-sense theory.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you a trader or a hodler? on: May 27, 2022, 01:35:42 PM
In fact, we can decide which one is profitable and must know where we are comfortable of doing our job as these all are very challenging in real life.

 - trading is not for everyone and not all become profitable
 - Holding is not also for everyone as this is only suitable for those who have patience

We simply don't make a decision that will compromise the future of our funds. It should be planned well. And I'm going to say that I was a holder and at the same time a trader.

You are right,

I am going to answer the Title question only.

I had no plan to Hodl any crypto or Bitcoin. I wasn't aware much about the fundamental of Bitcoin. Many local YouTubers make videos about how you can profit by doing spot trading. So I bought some BTC and some altcoins too at the peak rate. BTC was $59K when I bought it. So, I waited for profit, and it kept falling. It was just hit ATH a few days ago, so I thought $59K was a Dip. The situation is like, I bought the dip, and it keeps dipping. LOL. Now, I am a holder because that's all I can do to recover from my loss.
125  Other / Meta / Re: There are many reasons to be an account band and a red trust??? on: May 27, 2022, 01:00:29 PM
bro help me  please  🙏😭 big mistakes with me. These are not my accounts, this is my account. The rest of the accounts belong to my friend. I don't know if dollars can be exchanged with them now. I did not do anything wrong and they did not do anything wrong. Why just punish us. And not that I or my friends are hurting you. Brother, I am telling you for the sake of Allah, raise the Red Trust, brother, bounty with a lot of trouble

I want to tell everyone that all of your's explanation is wasted. After all of the answers and explanations, OP still doesn't understand what the problem is with his account and he doesn't feel guilty either as he says he did not do anything, and they (his friends) did not do anything wrong. I am not sure if he understands English properly because his OP doesn't say that. @OP, Please use a translator and read all the posts made by senior members. Better luck next time.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 26, 2022, 01:23:05 AM
I want to say to those who suggest not to expense your money on less important things and offer storing foods. I don't think it can be the solution.

Everyone cannot contribute in this matter at this moment. Since it comes to the global food crisis, Even with the high price, You will be unable to buy food because if there is no food, How you will buy them? It's as if there is no food at all. But, If there is less food but expensive, In this case, Poor people will suffer from this.

If everyone steps up, It's possible to defend against the food crisis.

If you live in a village side, Start farming whatever you can. If you can farm rice, Do it. If you can vegetables, Do it. Start Saving Money.

Only their website support can tell you the exact news. Or, if someone from this community has already done a deal before, they may help you in this case. I am from one of those countries and I can say that I have never seen such a service here yet.
