121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do you think US Paypal Users would be interested in buying cryptocurrency? on: May 04, 2024, 06:18:08 PM
Few days ago moonpay collaborated with PayPal to enable US users purchase cryptocurrency with PayPal. I found a tweet that states PayPal users to be just about 426 million, don't know the number for US members. This looks like an adoption, but looking at it, I think PayPal users who would purchase Bitcoin are those who already know and uses the currency. And a lot of PayPal users are not familiar with buying products with Bitcoin that's why they use PayPal. Such integration is cool for moonpay but for the community, I don't think such feature can attract 1 million PayPal users to use cryptocurrency for the first time. It's good PayPal adopts cryptocurrency, do you think their users would follow their steps? Or is it too late?
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden Final Warning for Bitcoin on: May 04, 2024, 05:45:47 PM
Privacy sidechain? Liquid network might be what you're looking for since they implement Confidental Transaction. For something easier or lighter on Bitcoin on-chain, MimbleWimble or other form of non-interactive CoinJoin probably are better option than CT.

Litecoin, which signaled MWEB into activation in May 2022, has always been something of a test environment for features later implemented in Bitcoin. Litecoin was the 1st to have SegWit, a Lightning Network, and now MWEB, which is an optional privacy enhancing feature, used by Grin as default.

Here's a pretty in-depth article about how it all works. I honestly don't see why this can't also be integrated with BTC, if miners signaled for it... maybe there's a good reason but I don't know what it is.

The reason could be the strong crackdown the US government has on privacy oriented softwares. Bitcoin developers seem cautious of new forks or changes in the network regarding privacy. Read through your shared link, and it's true of the privacy features on Litecoin network. The similarity it has with bitcoin's POW shows how simple it'll be to run similar updates on Bitcoin. But, Litecoin is not as mainstream as Bitcoin, despite its lesser fee features and faster integration of blocks, the government would be very strict on such changes if it came from Bitcoin developers.

A privacy oriented startup Zksnack has removed their coinjoin features from wallets that utilizes it, such as btcpay, because they want to obey the government. Since they want to keep track of all transactions happening in the Bitcoin network launching a privacy oriented upgrade on bitcoin may get an immediate attention of the government on Bitcoin. Snowden on the other hand, has been reminding Bitcoin developers of this for a long time. He commends projects like Zcash for their privacy features, so I think of him as someone who cherish privacy on cryptocurrency transactions. But, he's been ghosted all through these years by Bitcoin developers. Hence the government happens to be a reason why.

123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: May 03, 2024, 09:50:27 PM
One start would be just showing the downsides of gambling and promoting that. We usually have a lot of casinos promoting a lot of their gamblers end up winning, like casinos are just charities and you just go there and win so much, they always promote the wins. But nobody really shows how much people lost

One great example would be that some guy bet 50 dollars and won 42 million dollars just recently at a casino, that's really just as huge as it gets, never seen anything bigger, by far the biggest win I have ever seen, it was a jackpot. That was promoted everywhere, but nobody talks how that casino got the 42 million at all, they are not talking about anything at all, that's the most important difference in the end.

Money makes the mare go, I think a lot of money is pumped into the dissemination of those jackpots to attract people, than it is on the other side of letting people know the downside of gambling. Also the good aspects of gambling. Those things are not being discussed across all medias. But lots of social media still help in passing across the need for responsible gambling. However, it's unclear why the responsible gambling ads don't make it so effectively well in creating good impacts on a player. They get neglected. Lots of players don't think gambling should have limits or management.

They normalized taking loans to gamble already. Hence, those ad wouldn't cross their mind. If you go through responses on some gamble responsibly ads, it's full of jokes and unserious responses. As though it doesn't matter. Casinos mastered the art of playing with people's fantasies. Who would the people follow between someone who flashes money and another who advise them to limit how they follow the first mentioned. I think it could be like a joke to them, because the other one shows them wealth and seem promising to make them richer as well. Imagine an Ad on the type of jackpot you just mentioned, doesn't it look more attractive? More clicks would go towards such an ad.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: May 03, 2024, 09:21:52 PM
I also think that you should not play in front of children, because they like to copy any actions from their parents. I don’t want to say that after they see us playing, they will immediately steal the money and go do the same thing. But this may occur several years later or during adolescence. They will have memories of those colorful pictures on the screen and cheerful music, as well as the bright emotions of their father or mother. Even if they were not very joyful, screaming or talking to oneself also attracts the attention of children. Adults simply underestimate this situation and pursue their own interests in the game and at the same time very often do not want to make sure that children are not around. I never make mistakes that could have a negative impact on them in the future due to incorrect, very positive perceptions in childhood.
Children are quick learners. At that stage of life any adult they see seems to be like a role model to them and if they consistently see an adult doing a particular thing multiple times they feel it is the right to do. Gambling in front of our kid should not be encouraged and this is because its something we ourselves are trying to stop and most times we regret the fact we entered into gambling and we would always advice people close to us not to stat gambling. I think we do not wish our children to have the same gambling experience we had unless it is a good way.

Infact no parent s would wan their kids to grow up as a gambler, they wish good jobs for their children to be successful so they dont think about gambling as an option to make money or double money.

Another disadvantage of gambling in kids presence is the trust kids have on their parents as role model. No child would think of his dad doing the wrong thing. Seeing him gamble would make the child within him conclude that gambling is for everybody. If the child is not told that gambling isn't for kids he could engage in the game earlier before he gets to the right gambling stage. This problem puts lots of young players into trouble. Kids learn faster from their parents more than anyone else. When they move with other kids a gambling conversation could be initiated by them, which is not healthy for the kids.

Hence, parents need to know that they manage a huge aspect of the world with their little portion of kids. Whatever they learn at home other kids will hear it too, then it spreads to a wider range of kids, doing almost the same mistakes. Some parents careless about this because they could be undergoing problem gambling. Unfortunately, kids from such upbringing always wants to gamble, and may get compulsive. As they wouldn't mind repeating what's on the memory regarding his dad or mom as a gambler. Those who don't mind if their kids get addicted can be considered a compulsive gambling parent.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: May 03, 2024, 07:49:43 PM
That's a good point and got a big factor when you are into this business,  if you are tired and just simply place your bet without doing any types of research or any thing to analyze the game, chances to win is slim and if ever that you lose your bet the chance of retrying and add more money to your bankroll  is very risky as you may just repeat that same mistake over and over  and lose everything again,

it's better to stay away from gambling and find alternatives to chill out and relax or simply take your nap and sleep to gather back your strength then play  back if you really love to gamble.

A tired player doesn't think of analyzing his game, he only wants to play for its sake. It's quite risky to gamble when not prepared to play. Gambling is not some form of a seasonal game. It's always available, don't see why some players act as though gambling would not be available when they sleep and wake. Read some responses from players who sleep and wake on gambling. That's really exhausting and fund intensive. However, the strategy is not recommended, due to the stress and the reckless gambling that fatigue could cause. I think what you said is in line with the right means of handling such a problem.

I understand that some gamblers have a very busy schedule such that they wouldn't have time to play games. But, wherever, the person works some free days would be allocated to him. Won't say that a player who has little spare time gamble shouldn't gamble. Just that in a complete day, work can't be going on. There are free moments for lunch, dinner etc which can randomly be picked as a time to wager for few minutes. Hence, like wagering what we are able to lose, players shouldn't spend more time than they have to rest. In a nutshell, choosing between resting and gambling, the right choice is to rest.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: May 03, 2024, 07:32:28 PM
That's why it's really better to refer them to consult with professionals because those medical allied are always there to help them recover from whatever they are going through and at the same time, extending emotional support from their family will also help them more because people under the influence of addiction, their minds and awareness are divided, they still have the feeling that they want to get out of the situation so they also have to help themselves.

Indeed, some gamblers have the strength and energy to help themselves escape gambling addiction. But it's only possible if the gambler later realizes he's no longer living his real lifestyle. Gambling could redirect the thoughts of a player to think he's still on the right track. Those players who still have themselves on check despite suffering addiction can escape addiction with lesser help from friends. But a player who is still glued and enjoys his addiction will hardly comply with his helpers. As he is still in love with the problem such that he hardly thinks of something else.

However, they still get to realize that their lifestyle is not orderly, but it's easily forgotten when the addict feels like to gamble. Such gamblers need to be allowed enough time to have a rethink before taking them to a therapist. If he's not interested in getting better they'll be no therapy. Hence, I'll refer an addict who actually wants to change to therapy. And try as much as possible to get the countervailing addict to focus on something else which could make him have some distractions whenever he wants to gamble. He could be participating in two other activities which he loves. Thereby, cutting short the time he invest on gambling.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do some people hide to gamble on: May 03, 2024, 07:18:21 PM
The problem is that most gamblers cannot control their greediness and at some point they become addicted to gambling. When gamblers can't control themselves, people start to have a bad idea about gambling when they see their behavior. This is how gambling has acquired a negative perception by others. If gamblers could control themselves in gambling then people would not have bad idea about gambling. But the current state of gambling is so bad that even the gamblers know how society views them when they gamble. Gamblers nowadays often prefer to gamble in disguise so that no one perceives them differently. In gambling does not only have its negative side but also has positive aspects as a gambler spends his free time by gambling.

The both sides are at fault, gamblers have a big impact on why people developed stigma on them. But the society is as well making a mistake for having those stigmas on players. Because the wrong perspectives on gambling which was derived from gambler's lifestyle affect the behavior of players negatively. Players get to know about the way people see them in the society, so they, the players, look for ways to escape from the eyes of other people. As we both know of the disadvantages of isolating as a gambler. However, players are at fault on the known occurrence coming from compulsive players.

I mean non gamblers didn't just develop those stigmas, lots of factors rose such discrimination on gamblers. Addiction, stealing, illicit behaviors and mental disorder that most addicted players exhibit have led us to this stage where gamblers need to conceal their gambling habit. Reducing the rate at which addicted people get some help in the society. When people hide to gamble it's also as a result of the repelling attitude placed on them by close friends. Which may have led multiple players to problem gambling because they can't complain about their problems to a person who has stigma on them. Hence, both non gamblers and gamblers need to work closely to change or reduce the rate at which people get addicted.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: May 03, 2024, 06:57:37 PM
In life, their is always a starting point to everything including gambling, so i can tell you to the fact that so many of us gamblers have our own side of our stories how our gambling life style all started, to me gambling is not a bad thing if you can gamble only what you can afford to lose, because by doing so it wouldn't get to your head, once gambling start getting into your head and you start seeing it as a means of income, that is path to addiction.
There are many people who can earn profit from various gambling games but they are never greedy.  If greed is at work in gambling, no matter how much you win, you will think that if you continue to gamble, you will probably win more and continue to gamble to lose all the money.  However, gambling can be a very good experience for some and a very bad experience for others.  But one thing everyone should always keep in mind is that he will not have a bad experience in gambling only when he bets the amount he can afford to lose.

It always felt bad as a kid to lose money after a bet with friends or family. Most gamblers today may have gambled at a young age and didn't get along with the way their pocket money gets finished quickly. I don't remember going after more money in competitive board games in those days. However, it was interesting to participate in game with friends without expecting any money. The fun worths it, other than the argument that may erupt just like Op mentioned in his last lines. These personal challenging encounters affects some gamblers to play recklessly.  However, a gambler that's conscious of his expenses and manage his money proficiently he wouldn't have a hard time with gambling.

Getting too attached to gambling is not recommendable. But a player who is moderately engaging in the game, expecting to win, but not desperate to win, will enjoy his game. Compared to players who wants those wins at every cost. That's rough for their finances. Greed also plays a vital role in derailing the good habit of most gamblers. I hardly have experienced a time I felt comfortable with the amount of money in the bankroll. Always wanted more, but with the few limitations the involuntary greedy behaviors gets monitored not to land me into trouble. Similarly, many other players feel the need for more money and endless engage in gambling routine that will cause them problems.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 03, 2024, 06:32:08 PM
Gambling everyday only means two things, it's either you consider gambling as a source of livelihood or you're walking your way to addiction ( that's if you're not already an addict).

I can tell you that you can be gambling everyday and never be addicted, most of the addicted gamblers are not those that gambles everyday, but those whose gambling lifestyle is without a pattern or bearing, they can uses anyone's money with them to gamble even it it takes a long time to grab such, they can leave things undone all because they wanted to gamble, they don't even care to plan about their own future than to see themselves gambling at anytime, addiction is not by daily gambling habits, but in what we do that makes others get disappointed in us being a gambler.

Gambling everyday controls a player towards repeating same lifestyle. But it's nice to note that gambling everyday is a stressful gambling method and would affect a player that wouldn't limit his habit. However, the risk is high but can be moderated. Gambling is meant to be enjoyed. Some people don't feel satisfied at gambling unless they tend to play everyday. The need for playing everyday is not about making more wins, but to stay entertained everyday.

Like every other activity, nobody does consistently get entertained without going for a break. Gambling is automated, the machine doesn't get weak, only the player feels the stress. Undergoing those fatigues everyday will affect the player's strength and make him exhausted easily. If the gambling habit is limited then the player wouldn't get into any form of trouble, easily.

130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: May 03, 2024, 04:42:14 PM
It is true and I think everyone should agree with this that it is a fact if everything is done when we are in a situation and condition tired due to other things then usually the results of our performance will not be maximized, although gambling depends on luck which makes me want to say that no matter if you are tired the name of victory can happen when you are lucky, but obviously however tired conditions will greatly affect decision making where there is a high probability for you to experience excessive emotions due to the atmosphere of the brain and mind being tired because of other things which ultimately makes you think of doing some aggressive actions based on frustration and desperation.

This is the importance of being able to manage and think rationally, which means that by having a healthy and rational mindset, I think it is small for you to force the situation just to gamble and most likely you will prefer to rest instead of gambling.

Gambling puts players into fatigue, rest eliminates it. When a person is tired, he's not meant to gamble. As he needs energy to gamble. Sleeping helps the brain to think strongly of something. When tired a player would be surprised at the type of blunder he makes in his game. Hence, it's crucial for a gambler to always be in his complete state of mind whenever wagering his funds. It happens in any other activities like reading or writing. When a tired person wants to type on the computer, he could be long pressing a particular key for a few minutes while dozing off. He'd only realize his mistakes like Op when awake. Although, those players who barely have enough time to gamble due to their work schedule are required to craft few hours after resting and gamble. Playing excessively adds no positive meaning to a gambler's journey. Hence, there is no need for a player to stress himself trying to gamble more when he actually needs rest.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: May 03, 2024, 04:26:06 PM
-snip-
There are those who don't believe on superstitions and when there is a happening, they will only think that is due to their actions. They say that positivity attracts luck. The explanation would be is because when you are positive, you are also confident about your actions i.e. you did a proper research about the team or player that you will bet in, if we are talking about gambling.

I am one of the many people who believe that when you think positively and are surrounded by people with a positive aura, the result is that your luck level will be better. I don't know if this is superstition or what, but that's what I feel, when I play when I'm happy, whether because I get a bonus from work or my friends are around me, I often win. I don't know whether it's just a coincidence or not, but from this I'm sure that luck can happen because of the positive aura from ourselves and the people around us.

I think that when a player is not bothered he wouldn't have much disputes or troubles while gambling. His results will be acceptable and reasonable to him. Because within himself he's better off with those results win or loss. Due to his happy mood and type of surrounding filled with people who posses positive energy. Hence, gamblers are meant to realize the need for being in a good mood while gambling. In relation to what Op just said about his friend, it's fine to assume that his presence lifted his friends curiosity and made him have a balanced thought on his decisions. Yet that doesn't contribute to the maths behind how people win gambling.

Players only add such thoughts to back themselves with some feeling that gambling results could be manipulated. A player gets to win unexpectedly, and will tag it luck. But, I would say the casino have the best answer to all the questions regarding what strategy is best needed to win in gambling. It's not for the players to conclude. If they were any proven track record of OP being the reason people win big in gambling, he would have been spending all his time with gamblers. His friend won unexpectedly in Op's arrival to his house. So if what they think of such believe is true they can recreate it multiple times and make a kill. Aside winning money, gamblers enjoy a better gambling experience when they gamble with their mind at rest.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: May 03, 2024, 03:59:33 PM
The easiest way to stop greediness is to stop chasing after loses . Chasing after loses is the major reason why gamblers loss alot. If we can be able to to stop chasing after loses then addiction will be reduced.

Addiction is reached by chasing loss, but it's important to limit such a behavior. Sometimes I perceive it as an involuntary action. Players get to enjoy the game and have better reasons to chase after their money. At first it becomes fun, soon the gambler would be struggling with his decisions. The wrong thing is allowing the impulse frequently move us and get us, the player, to addiction. Lots of people involuntarily have chased after their lost money. Later they were able to limit such a behavior or impulse. Those who find it difficult to get hold or limit the need to chase for losses find themselves into gambling problem.

133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: May 03, 2024, 03:43:50 PM
Good day guys, how is the gambling industry helping you this period?

However I just want to say that in the game world gamblers are always there to bet and the important thing here is when a gambler can not risk he also can not win, true or false?
Many might still believe that a gamblers who's just gambling at the first day might end up winning w huge amount of money that he wasn't expecting but the truth is that as long as you stake on bet you have already risk your money, be it big or small.

I agree with you that until a person takes risks, he will not win anything in gambling. In fact, risk is the whole point. It's like saying that a person will never receive a salary until he goes to work. Yes, that's how it works.
Another thing is what you mean by risk. The risk may vary. You can use $50, for example, to bet and risk losing it, or you play with your last money and risk being left with no money at all and with large debts and problems, both are risks, but these are completely different things.
To answer your question, I will say, yes, it is impossible to win in gambling without risk. But is it worth doing this and what kind of risk might it be? This is another question that every person asks himself.

Yes multiple risk factors are in existence and some players only think that risk is about wagering huge amount of money. Players who wager all in, also is considered risky. Because they don't have any other way of falling back to a better financial status if they lose the game. Whenever a player decides to make a risky move he's expected to be prepared in case he doesn't win the game. However, sometimes the drive gets too strong that the player wouldn't mind taking the risk anyways.

He could feel winning is certain. Gambling is risky. It requires money and other intellectual capabilities to participate in the game. Any moment a person gambles he's literally exposed to gambling risks. Which may include addiction. Gambling problems are interwoven and work in different ways to lead player to addiction. A problem worse than losing big in gambling. Challenges do come up and players won't be ready to probably deal with it. Hence, it's risk at their end because more issues could erupt out of their mistakes. In a nutshell, risk like you said have different applications.
134  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 03, 2024, 03:13:40 PM
So, in the nutshell, having such security measures in places in betting shops and casinos are very good for obvious reason, but not when the shop or casino is not generating enough to fund such project and also maintain it, for a big shop or casino that can afford it due to the size of their business, it's very alright and important to have such security outfit, as it's also to the advantage of the business in the long run.
I am not a business person but from the little I know about it is that there are some businesses for example this physical bet shop where your staff need to be micro managed. They will need to dot their "i's" and cross their "t's". That is the kind of management that is required of the business owner. Micromanaging involves installing a cctv camera in your shop bet shop and let your staff be aware of it but make to put in their best. This is what I think.

The agent who seized or claimed the money could be the owner of the place. Agents are not employees of the shop, some owners run it themselves alongside his staff. Because the shops get opened with the owner's account not the employee. Hence in this context, the company sent the funds directly to the official account for the agent in charge of the shop; the owner. The company can't monitor their agents across the nation. So, the trouble of going to such places should be avoided.

If the player gambled directly with the official site and didn't go to shops where his payment is controlled by agents, he wouldn't have been visiting courts. Most players who gamble in such places have gadgets to wager online but don't prefer using their phone. Don't know if they're also addicted to visiting those shops. However, whatever it is the agent did he is not right. How come somebody else with a different slip number withdraw another player's fund. Have not heard of such mistakes, his hands seem to be on the money, if he was able to easily give away some funds to the owner.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: May 02, 2024, 11:12:23 PM

If it's just about instincts, I'd rather follow my own predictions than AI, why? Isn't it only humans who control the AI, by inputting information and such things that they learn from humans? There is also a big chance that his predictions will not match compared to what our personal analysis will be. If our predictions are wrong, at least we must admit to ourselves that we made a mistake, there is no one else to blame but ourselves.

When a person begin to blame himself consistently in a behavior he can't control, soon, wouldn't it get tiring? He, the gambler, wouldn't feel comfortable playing the game, because he's lost confidence in himself. Accurately, a person can blame himself and pick correction that'll help change his life positively. That works on realistic achievements where some determination is needed to accomplish. Gambling with or with no determination, huge funds will get milked away by the inflammation, and losses.

It's also funny that players talk about relying on AI to improve their profits. I've not seen a gambler thay seeks for  gambling help from a toddler, but AI brain is below that of a toddler cannot equate. AI is not as intelligent as a baby. Like you said those AI learn languages for a long time and master how to answer designated questions. How then will a player trust an AI for prediction, If not greed. Human brain is far better and accurate than the AI in terms of predicting games and other human brain task.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An aggressive gambler irrelevantly easing his Irresponsible gambling manner. on: May 02, 2024, 10:48:36 PM
I have heard lots of jokes about this, like people planning on changing their betting pattern.
Going from football to boxing, just so you get some pain for letting them lose money, and it's funny.

It's a game; one can lose or win, but these people do not want anything other than winning. Sometimes it's a way for them to console themselves after the loss. This also happened in football; despite the love they have for you, you're the cost of their loss. For that day, you automatically become a careless baller or keeper. I see no reason for being aggressive about not winning, and the statement isn't called for.
If they can't handle it anymore, maybe they will do it for real this time? What you said about gambling is true and if one can't accept the other outcome which is losing, much better if they just don't bet at all. If we are true fan, I don't think we will blame our idols once we lose the bet that we made on their game.

There are people who blame them secretly and they won't know it, so they won't feel bad about it but even if let say they are aware, I still don't think they will beat their selves for that. They are professionals and it's not their fault already but it's the fault of the gamblers because they may be too greedy, lazy, ignorant, etc...  to try and earn money out of gambling.

I would have said gambling is the cause for this, but it's wrong. Thinking about it, before the institution of gambling in a universal usage across the world, I grew in an environment where people watched sport without gambling and still exhibit similar behaviors like destroying things or really get sad, because their team lost a penalty kick. Gambling I would say brings out the true behavior of some people regarding activities like sports.

Because, these people who behave this way were groomed to behave in such manner. Remember not all gamblers does a things as cruel as that. Hence, players could be aggressive naturally, and whenever something gets them sad they'll begin to act  aggressively. Gambling is a factor that makes such people sad to an extent of causing troubles or become destructive. Gambling, yes, can influence someone to behave in such a way. Yet, the whole blame should be on gambling, as the cause. The player also contributed to the way he acted.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: May 02, 2024, 10:24:56 PM
Gambling is not wrong, that means it's useless to worry about what people say regarding my gambling habit. It's a matter of personal perspectives from non gamblers who see gambling as something wrong. However, when they tend to criticize a player it'll be right for the gambler to have a conversation with the critic to understand why he's still thinking of gamblers as irresponsible. Gone are the days when people reasoned of gamblers in such a manner. Hence, it's crucial that the critic learns something new after the conversation with the gambler.

Some of them also wants to become gamblers but are afraid of joining the niche. Due to negative things they've heard about gambling. Although, such thoughts doesn't help enough in stopping people from gambling. Nobody cares about those critics and their wrong perspectives. Once a gambler is not compulsive he's fine and is not meant to bother about what people would say about him. Sometimes close friends would be surprised to learn about our involvement in gambling yet it's not a big deal to bother or worry about. Addiction is the only thing a player should avoid not being a victim.

Yes but however it is a fact that most people have a negative perspective on gambling which makes them have a negative perspective on people who are involved in gambling so that criticism appears, I don't know what the problem is but what is certain is that society only sees as a whole about the bad behavior of a gambler who has entered the addiction phase, even though basically for example you are not one of the addicted gamblers but still people will not believe it.

On the other hand I don't know whether what you said is true or not about those who like to criticize actually want to be involved in gambling or not, but certainly one of the reasons they criticize others who are involved in gambling is because they really think that gambling is an activity that is prohibited or that must be avoided and with this then I think it is unlikely that they want to get involved. At the end of the day yes obviously whoever you are if you are involved in gambling then yes there might always be some people who criticize but as I said earlier that we don't need to care too much about it and one of my suggestions is that you better keep your gambling habits a secret to avoid the criticism and the other thing is always listen and apply some of the best advice from people to implement many precautions so that we can avoid the possibility of addiction.

Beginning from your second paragraph, critics indirectly seek for information where there are not. Personally, have seen people who criticized some habits in the past but are now a part of the habit. A new gambler can criticize an addict, not knowing he could get addicted soon. Who knew he'd become a gambler. It's all a matter of environment and fun activities. Same way those critics wouldn't understand that they can become gamblers in future. Hence, getting hold of such critics to realize that their thoughts about gambling is completely wrong is a nice reminder.

Those few words of conversation would be cemented in his brain. Such that, in future, eventually, when he becomes a gambler, those words will guide him. One side of the publicity is in decline. That's why most people in the society accept that gambling is completely wrong. Helping them redirect such thoughts will help the person to see gambling differently. And such complaints on criticism and stigmatism will be reduced. How you know this is that everyone around you who is a non gambler will argue that gambling has no health benefit.

I think it is not about gambling everyday but it is more about how much money you will be allocating for gambling each day or each week etc. For example, it make no sense that you gambling on fewer days on the week but during these days you spend a lot of your money. This will not help for sure. The goal should not be to limit the time for the gambling but to limit the amount spend on gambling.

It's all about planning before the execution. Many people think that they will manage the money and need no homework for this, but they are wrong. I would not consider how many days or time you have because a person can gamble with little amounts for hours and still lose nothing while other people may spend their all portfolio in a single bet and loses everything in a quick time.
Of course, limiting the amount will help you save your deposit for a longer period, because if you don’t do this, you can simply lose everything completely on the first day, without even knowing what an everyday game is. I've never played multiple days in a row because it doesn't fit my strategy of carefully selecting games only for certain sports that I understand a lot about. And there are even fewer teams and championships, so it’s good if I can make 4-5 bets a week, but even beyond that I limit the amount of bets, and if I lose several times in a row, I may stop playing for several weeks. This allows you to put your thoughts in order and calmly accept losses.

Gambling 7 days a week requires limitations. Gambling should be limited at any strategy utilized. A player can decide to gamble every day for a month and go for a 3 months break. During his gambling hours people could misunderstand him and think he does it and nothing happens to him. Hence, such people will try doing it with no limitations, as they think it requires no such thing. They'll be the ones to suffer problem gambling. Because they gamble blindly.

Showing their inexperienced moves and building up more mistakes. The problem isn't the duration a player gambles. It's about his break patterns. Doing it with no few months break can be too stressful that the brain would be weak to think better, due to lack of rest. Gambling is a psycho thing, and the player's brain is meant to be secured and protected against any type of addiction. A player that goes for vacation still has his self control in place. Hence, can't get compulsive with chasing losses.

Once you become addicted to gambling it is very difficult to get out of it. Gambling addicts are so crazy that anything good they think is bad they will only run towards gambling. When gambling can't keep itself away from the urge it is considered a mental disorder. At this stage even if a person loses everything for gambling he cannot give up gambling addiction. And when this addiction reaches extremes it wreaks havoc in people's lives.
Addiction is a very difficult thing to comprehend for those that have never experimented, as the addicted takes actions that go against their own interests, but their mind is so warped and their priorities so out of place they cannot understand their lives without gambling anymore, which makes them to sacrifice everything for it, a huge mistake as one day they will realize what they have done, and they may try to get their life back on track and they may find themselves alone without anyone willing to help them out.

yes, you are right
when someone is addicted it's not as simple as thinking "oh just stop it"
sometimes the person really wants to stop a habit but depending on the level it is on their body and minds they simply can't
it's stronger than them
it must be fight slowly or all at once...

human behavior is something crazy sometimes.

The bigger mistake is a family that leaves their addicted ward alone to suffer because of his countervailing attitudes. Such thoughts affects more the addicted player in a way that doesn't seem right. It's right for people to focus more in reviving the addicted players. And let them realize they are not heading to the right lifestyle for them. However, correcting an addicted brain is quite very hard, and so tiring that the addict's family at some point would want to let go of him. I don't buy such an idea in cases that has to do with mental illness. As I read above they're not performing those behaviors at their own will. It's just a quick reminder that addicts actually needs help, regardless of their behavior. If left alone, he'd cause more disturbing problem for the family.

The earlier an addicted player is attended to, the healing process begins. Hence whatever treatment method in form of kindness that is utilized will be effective. Engaging in arguments with the addicts only makes them sad and through anger can do something wrong in their process of proving to his family that gambling will surely get him rich. They could sell or steal meaningful treasures from their home and wager in the casino. Actually, due to the stigma an addict feels people have on him, he'd do anything possible to win big, just to remove the stigma. So, those stigmas, hatred and argument placed on addicts is not the right thing doing. It worsens the struggle to save the person.

This is extremely normal for people participating in gambling in public places. In the post, you did not mention where the area you are talking about in the story is? Is it legal to gamble there? And usually, according to my personal knowledge, most countries do not allow people to gamble for money in public places.

Besides, maybe their family and acquaintances are near the area where they gamble, so they don't want their acquaintances to know that they are gambling with large amounts of money. We cannot know whether any of them are taking money from their family's expenses to participate in gambling, so I think that is also the reason for them to hide their gambling.

In short, concealing gambling has many causes, but most of it is related to legal, social, financial and psychological issues of the player.

Besides as long as a person is gambling responsibly, no one else has any business knowing if that person gambles or not, an odd notion these days taking into account that many people share almost anything about their lives in social media or to anyone that is willing to listen, which is why anyone that keeps some sort of secret is viewed as suspicious, but at the end if a person does not want to share those experiences, they are within their rights to refuse.

I think so, people are more concerned recently about everyone's lifestyle how they gamble and where they gamble. However, it's not a bad notion. Concealing a habit or living an isolated lifestyle is not always good. People need to be aware of some things. At least when issues arises they'll be people to testify about the player's lifestyle. Hence, it's crucial for gamblers to select few trusted people and let them know about their gambling habit or lifestyle. But in this context on the Op the players already are enough acquittance to one another.

No way, all of them can't get addicted same time. If they're educated on responsible gambling strategies, information on ways to avoid addiction can be circulated while they gamble in isolation. I think that such gamblers who engage in a game with friends don't need to share further information about their gambling habit with family members. His friends will easily get the message to his family if any issue arises. It's only advisable for a solo gambler to discuss his gambling habit with friends.
