I think it's safe to say now nobody knows how far darkcoin can go. This is something the crypto world has never seen before. I can reminisce about how many people were telling me to sell at $1, $2, $3, etc. I'm so happy I can think for myself.  Go back to the end of November 2013. You'll see several coins increasing in multiples more than Darkcoin has. Only because BTC was going up massively too (500%). BTC is up, but only 25%. |

How fast are transaction times compared to supposedly fast currencies like quark, zetacoin and ultracoin? Or is the speed of these impractical because that speed comprises security/network integrity?

Can enyone clear the water around ring signatures and darksend/masternodes ? Are we getting rid of masternodes ? What is the feature of darkcoin ? "Big Things comming" it's not a clear schedule .
As far as I understand Evan has decided not to implement ring signatures. He has another method to increase anonymity that he claims is as good as, if not better than ring signatures. |

If we talk about stealing the coins from "servers" if you have nice long strange password you can sleep well.
Oh yeah. So when kids (literally) steal $ million worth of codes (source codes of products, customer account or even the credit card informations) from huge companies (remember Valve, Sony, or recently Ebay?) with several professional security experts onboard then there is always only a weak password to blame. I guess Karpeles also had a weak password then.  |

I agree a lot of the price talk is delusional at present. I could see it going up 3x or 4x in the next couple of months, but 1000% again would be unlikely (it would put DRK bigger than Litecoin).
1000% would take us on par with LTC. People forget that LTC has something like 28-29 mn coins out there while DRK has only 4.5. Coin numbers are mighty important. Coin price is irrelevant without coin numbers. You're right, I don't know what I was thinking than I wrote that. |
