How to setup fail-over for ccminer?
Actually I haven't heard of failover option for ccminer until now. But it seems like miners are using cudamanager to handle it though. Tell me if you find solution. Tell ...just use KopiemTu - a BAMT like linux for nvidia. https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=16800.0It supports failover and works stable. @atomrigs... are you using 750ti's too? then you have about 45 of them? with windows?? Mostly 270x, 280x, 290 craps still. They are running on pimp. 6pcs 750 ti running on KopiemTu. I planed to add more 750ti, but too busy lately...

Couldn't connect to the stratum at hash@me. Tried miningpoolhub, but their frontend is offline. It looks like pools are still under attack. DDoS attacked web and it was down for a while. (less than one hour I think) Actually mining didn't get affected. It had been running smoothly for several weeks. You'd better set fail-over option on our pool to switch when current pool is down. How to setup fail-over for ccminer?

my buddy who owns http://jpc.altdice.net is looking for a JPC investor. he want to raise the betting limits and need more JPC in the pot. his proposal is what you give in JPC he will pay back over time 100%. during that time he will give you 50% of the profits till principal is fully paid. after thats paid then no more profits. he's been around for awhile and he's trustworthy. if anyone interested let me know he does this with other coins at his dice site https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=301571.0public record This site is betting bot friendly?

Today's 100M JPC sell order on Bittrex was due to hacker's attack
I have a proof of a bittrex email showing the hacker's attack and log data. Bittrex is still investigating the details, but it seems the login password was broken. It was only for one account, and no further hacking activity was reported. It was not related to any JackPotCoin's bug.
The hacker sold about 100M JPC today, and cashed out BTC by trading other junk coins with his another account. I will announce the details once the investigation is finished.
I expect the JPC price will recover back to above 70 very soon, so hurry up if want to catch some cheap coins now.

concrete proof of that? 100M could have been made in a few days from a big farm when diff was 30 or something... allcrypt got the same price crash. Both get hack at the same time ? No hack, at least nothing we are aware of. Looked at the trade logs, nothing odd, other than a mass exodus of JPC from a ton of accounts. We assumed a "better" exchange listed JPC and everyone jumped ship. The price at allcrypt would follow a larger exchange as people played the arbitrage (buy dumped price on bittrex, sell on allcrypt, instant profit). That would cause a price drop. I don't know about allcrypt's side. But I will open more details about Bittrex's case once the case investigation is fully finished.

Hey atom rigs - funny you mention a bittrex hack - yet fail to answer my repeated emails. Care to send me a PM or reply to the email I sent you last week? And on a related note, I'm curious about this - how did you get this email (I assume it wasn't you that was hacked). We had a user report 1.5mil JPC withdrawn today that he didn't do, but we get that 3x a week from people who forget they did a withdrawal. No other reports and all balances/logs are secure and clean. Would like to know if it was in any way related. There were too many emails on that account, so I missed it. I replied it back now. I got contacted by the account's holder who got hacked on Bittrex today.

So, hypothetically, you win the jackpot. Awesome.
How do you cash out without killing the coin? No one wants to sit at a PC and sell off that much slowly on multiple exchanges, but what's the alternative?
I am bored at work and am day dreaming.
Let me tell you my experience. I won the 80m jackpot few weeks ago. out of 80m I donated 8m to the mintpal vote and I have been selling small amounts 1-2m at a time to make sure that price isn't effected. as of yesterday, I had 50m left, and sold 10m at a peak to a large wall at 80 satoshi. today, when price hit 40 satoshi by a huge dump, I bought back 20m. Having said that, I think my 80m jackpot is gonna be worth 50+ BTC by the time I sell out, slowly And this is the story of only 1 jackpot winner and he is still holding those winning. I can imagine many more Jackpot winner in the future doing the same that should keep price down. 100 million sell could be whale cashing out, knowing is a losing battle. If we don't hit 80 again soon, we can safely say the whale have exited and never came back. If that is the case, 88 will be JPC ATH and it will be history. Those big farm came late for the party. Maybe we will be back to 2 sat before we know it. I hope i am wrong because i dont want the party to end so soon but we all know the party gonna end one day. No wonder how easily ppl get scared just by looking at a 3% exit. Actually today's movement is even kind of healthy one. JPC now has 320M volume today. You will see another major jump very soon

Please add a new hash algorithm, JHA. It is currently used for JackPotCoin (JPC), but very soon it will be very popular among other new clones using this algo. Right now the hashpower in JPC has not catched up its price increase speed. There is BIG demand for hash power in the community. Currently the main exchange is https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-JPCMain JPC Info https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=584481.0You find JHA's technical features on http://www.bomijoa.com/?document_srl=4631Q1. What is Jackpot Hashing Algorithm? And what’s the purpose of it? A: JHA has designed using Random Hashing Method and Random Variable Hashing Round using SHA3, Blake, Grøstl, JH, Skein. and, Archive the highest Secure Level via the currently announced methods without increase the requirements such as electric or hardware cost. and Permanently ASIC resist because of there are multi-level of anti-parallelism in instruction, sub module, even full rounds of hashing. We using SHA3 512 Hashing for input round, and 0~7 extra random hashing rounds are followed. The length of round will be adjusted by time. Reduce the hashing load but increase the security JHA is using variable random hashing rounds, it will reduce the hashing power requirements to 1/2 compare the linear hashing method. but, Up to 16234 times higher security. And, The rounds will be increased by time via increasing of mining hardware to protect the old CPU and GPU miner. Permanent ASIC resist without increase the hardware power usage. To archive the large scale miner such as ASIC miner, JHA need the very high power host processor to increase the threads of compute unit in ASIC or the modern GPU. It will increase the mining hardware cost (not just chip level) and make impossible to use with coin. Power saving for GPU. Using heavy anti-parallelism, it using < 75% of ALU in the modern SIMD GPU. and, It force to work GPU in the lower power consumption mode.

the person who has been buying since 2 sat will cash out one day
That would be me I bought all of mine between 2 and 6, but I've already sold a whole pile and I'm not going to be doing any "crashing" with the rest. This isn't Mooncoin - it has some great fundamentals that can take it a long way. Look at it this way. We have a coin supply which is 1/27th of Doge's, yet Doge's price is still well above JPC. Also: - JPC is up and coming - it has its own "sector" in the gaming and gambling world, so can be sustained - it has a rock solid technical basis. very fast transactions, a perfectionist dev, a great Mac wallet (always a test of completeness) - it has modern advanced algos with this interlaced POS / POS approach. A great innovation which is proving to be a success (witness lightning transaction speed) - it has the first true random jackpot algorithm and both miners and buyers love it. Miners get a crack at the jackpot and buyers get great interest for staking So, corrected for coin supply, we are at less than 1/30th of the Doge price. Lets say JPC can realistically get to half the Dogue price (or a quarter if you want to be conservative) bearing in mind that Doge is a "dead on its feet" coin. That would mean: JPC @ 1/4 Doge: 270 Satoshis JPC @ 1/2 Doge: 540 Satoshis That's the reasoning and calculations for whales not dumping. (I am less of a whale now that I was but still got a fair bit). And even if they do, there is a basis for demand resurging. You've already seen that - we've revisited the 30's levels 4 times now. Mooncin had 1 pump to 60 and dead. This coin is going places. P.S. One more thing. With JPC's rise on Coinmarketcap, difficulty is going to skyrocket. That means no more easy mining and much better distribution EXCEPT for the Jackpot winner. So think about that for a second. You've suddenly got a far higher incentive to keep mining even when the difficulty goes up while at the same time keeping the market healthy by spreading the wealth out. This coin hasn't even popped up on Coinwarz yet. It soon will. Do you know Dev is Korean and JPC has strong support in Korean alt coin community? Both miners and traders at an early stage were mostly Korean, therefore have huge portion of JPC. Having already secured profit by virtue of getting in early, they still wait for further rise above 100sat. I am also Korean actually, just made over 28btc profit by buying at 5~9sat and selling at 38~45sat. The reason I dumped my coin was that JPC price seems to be overheating in spite of its remarkable development. There also has been several tiny manipulations in the Korean Community "DDENGLE" to boost the crypto. I don't think the price of JPC is worth equal yet that of DOGE, NOBL, etc. Be aware of sudden dump. You should keep the XC case in mind on trading. If the price overtakes more than twice as you say, then I'll have to rebuy over 200sat maybe. I am the leader of ddengle's JPC community. Congratulations on your nice profits. I am not sure what you described as "tiny manipulations" is, but I know our member's royalty is even stronger than DOGE's community while the size is much smaller though. Our first target is not at near 100 sat range. To understand the true value of JPC, you need to have ability to distinguish which one is a new innovative paradigm shifter, and which one is just a packaged copycat with pure hyped pump-dump operations. For the long term, only true paradigm shifter with strong community's support can win. DOGE has the greatest community, but lacks true technological innovations, and will die if they don't give up the scrypt hash algorithm. It is not worth to mention about another dying copycat, NOBLE. Anonymity feature became a very important one in recent altcoin trends. However it will become quite common standard if it is really important feature. JPC also can add this feature with its own concept. The reason JPC does not has that feature right now is only because the first development stage focused on the other fundamental features - new hash algo, true pow/pos hybrid, ultra fast transaction speed, etc. Overall, in terms of unique technological advancement and possibility of new paradigm shift, JPC is far superior to XC, and can be compared to DARK. I have no doubt JPC will be in the top 10 market cap among all coins within few months as far as we support the coin. If you think this coin is just another small event pump-dump coin, your insight on the whole coin industry is very limited.
