121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help the beginner find the software on: April 29, 2020, 06:02:45 PM
Hello. Recently, I became interested in trading. I need a software or telegram bot that would send me notifications when the volume of a candle exceeded a certain value in a certain pair of coins.

For example, take a BTC / USDT pair on a 30min timeframe, when the volume of the candle (volume) reaches a value greater than 15k, then I get a notification.

Maybe someone knows where to find such software, or ask anyone about it, I will be very grateful.

Excuse me for my bad English
Thank!!!

There are a lot of apps, website and bots offering such services however i've been using just two since i got into this space. I've been making use of Delta app and blockfolio and the two have been serving me perfectly as they have all the required functionalities to keep you in touch woth the market movement. They have have exchange accounts integration as well as detail orderbook views and well  detailed charts. You should try them out
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: He Lost His Investment. See what Happened! on: April 29, 2020, 05:47:51 PM

1. How do we evaluate capability and credibility of some entities or individuals that trade for people or some professional traders who trade for people?

2. I've seen some Telegram group that sell trading services and signals advice. How do we know if they are good to do business with?

I've seen lots of similar cases around here too, both in cryptocurrency and forex trading. I don't know why people still fall for an investment option as crappy as that because i do believe one thing which is traders aren't santa clause that would want everyone to benefit from their trading expertise and if truly they are good with trading, won't they just focus on growing their own little capital to enjoy the stream of profit amd not having to share it with investors?

Well story such as this is always what ends such investments packages
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: April 29, 2020, 05:41:12 PM
Hey people. Are you expecting a correction in the next days. A lot of talk about a price dump around 10% before the halving starts. How serious can this be?

To be honest, this market is really unpredictable as we've seen least expected thing happened multiple times. With the fomo flying around and people getting into bitcoin because of the upcoming halving, it is safe to say the market will hardly experience any tangible corrections but however, we've seen unimaginable things happen in this market so it's still a two way thing.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader looking to profit from the crypto market on: April 29, 2020, 05:36:33 PM
Hey Guys,
I have been looking at creating a passive income for myself and it looks like eToros'  copy trading could be my best option. Here is the article I read: https://coins.newbium.com/post/30512-the-easiest-way-for-new-traders-to-profit-from-the
What are your thoughts and experiences?

Also, I would love to know if anyone here copy trades and if not, would you?

Thank you in advance for your help!

To be honest, I've never been a fan of of the concept behind copy trading and I've always stay clear from it because cryptocurrency market is very volatile and unpredictable to be following another person strategy because we have different patience and emotional control level. What works out for a person might not workout for another and to great extent the capital use for the trading matters alot in the potential profits/loss to be generated. Basically, I've not had any personal experiences but i've seen lots of traders burn their account due to following others. The best thing is learn yourself and workout yiur own strategy.
125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: RISK and REWARD are not always correlated on: April 29, 2020, 05:28:26 PM

What does your take in this? How could you apply it in trading cryptocurrencies? Are there any interesting books, articles or an informative video just like what I have mentioned that you might wish to share?

I agree with you because gone are the days when the cliche way work/hustle hard but now it has been change entirely to work/hustle smart. I believe it applies in any aspect of life especially when it has to do with investments, it is not always about taking bigger risk but the best is taking calculated risk. In a market as volatile as cryptocurrency market, taking huge risk is not an healthy choice. Although, alot of people turn billionaire through that approach but still, it isn't worth it.
126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting as a Trader and Trading Bitcoin on: April 28, 2020, 11:45:11 PM
I know a lot of people who are interested in making money now more than ever just because of the current situation that we have now. Most of us are in lockdown, and people are starting to need to have that extra income more than ever.

IF you are that person, what would you like to know before starting to dwell into the Trading Space?
  • Do you want to be introduced to Bitcoin first?
  • What is Bitcoin?
  • How could you make money in Bitcoin?
  • Basic Trading strategies
  • etc

The list above is just an example, feel free to make your own.

This can be of help to many too, knowing that some are just starting, and they are waiting to get around to trading. And if you are a new trader, what do you expect in this market?

I can't really deny the fact that when i joined this crypto space, it was hard for me because i had no one to put me through. I picked interest from seeing news headlines almost everywhere and the most painful aspect of it was that i found this forum late. So then i was focus on learning  everything at the same time since i just want to understand everything related to bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Indeed, proper orientation is needed when you want to venture into any new thing. Well, look at me today, it was all worth it.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using a trading bot? on: April 28, 2020, 08:47:56 PM
I'm using BitUniverse's Grid Trading Bot, and I think it's really good to buy low and sell high everyday for me, cause the market is fluctuating recently. More importantly, it's totally free and supports 20+ exchanges like Binance. Any more bots are you using? Please recommend.  Huh

The whole trading bot thingy is not my thing, the last time i tried using one, i got burn madly. So for now, i just stick to trading by myself as the whole market is currently unpredictable and i prefer to get burn while trading by myself to using a bot or letting someone trade for me. And again, seems to me the trading bots are configure in such away to read market charts to determine their moves but the downtrends in this sector makes viatually every TA fails
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to buy - question to Hodlers on: April 28, 2020, 08:41:12 PM
Hi fellow Hodlers,

Im just asking because I want to know if there is a more effective way to do it

tl;dr When do you buy your Bitcoin?

I believe everyone will tell you to always but at the bottom or when the price is extremely low, but the big question is, when is the buttom or when is always the price at lowest. I guess no one will ever know unless you guess. This has been the ways of cryptocurrency market,  you might think your are buying the bottom but you'll discover that the dip keep get deeper.  I guess that the reason behind the risk of cryptocurrency investment
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: April 23, 2020, 11:28:22 PM
When I say ideal I mean:

  • People cannot born them from blown air and some day they will not be able to earn from coinbase's rewards.
  • Over time, it will still have value.
  • It cannot be spoiled by human.
  • It is decentralized, no one controls it.
  • You can send/receive the currency really quickly.

These are some basics requirements for the ideal currency. But I have a question. There are public and private keys out there. You can take anyone's public key and send him/her bitcoins. In the future, like 2100, you understand that technology is advancing. Those years I believe that brute forcing a private key will not be something impossible. Do you think that bitcoin will be spoiled by human in the future?

Should bitcoin use SHA512? Or something even stronger?

With the current state of bitcoin and the general cryptocurrency market, i can strongly say bitcoin is far from an ideal currency as it's still lacks some basic features of an ideal currency. Like you said,  before a currency is being termed an ideal one, it must possess lotsof basic features such as high speed transaction, high security and non volatile and to be honest, bitcoin and every cryptocurrency out there lacks these features and i guess in the next few years will be about finding solutions to such problems
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF HUNTER'S SYNDROME.... on: April 23, 2020, 11:18:13 PM
Why do we blame hunters and not the project teams for some initiatives taken by them. But also many thinks crypto hunters are greedy and cheaters but I see it as smartness, they always find loop holes to get their way through. Some finish a project and are richer than most investors(Hunter's Syndrome)  Grin. So I always say don't feel sorry for a hunter since as their name suggest they could easily kill a project with one shot lolx.

I have to say you are totally wrong, not everyone want to earn money through dubious way but i guess you just tell the whole community what we've been all these while. Well, it's little of my worries as the project teams and BM have that to worry about but i must also tell you that making such a huge amount as you fantasize will be very difficult this 2020 because we are about to finish the first quarter and not even a single sign of the market having any momentum soon. And finally about how teams can solve the syndrome, with the expertise you shown in the write-up about how you've been getting away with your cheatings even with kyc, i guess the teams just have to overlook the whole thing as you are smarther than the system
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto predictions on: April 23, 2020, 11:03:58 PM
Hey

Where do you go and check for cryptocurrency predictions? Besides trading view of course.

i can't seem to find other good pages..

There used to be a lot of sites, telegram groups, social media pages that do gives such calls and prediction but i guess the downtrend of the market that lingers around for so long made most of them to shut down as most of their calls always go to south making their followers lose their money. I'm sure with proper search on telegram, you will still see some of them that offer such services but i'd advice you not to fully rely on those calls as T.A's hardly work out now
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Audio money in crypto on: April 23, 2020, 10:56:36 PM
I don't know how possible is this. There's this airdrop I did ''minereum'' around February this year, I just received the airdrop token which is about 32,000 and I checked it on Coinmarketcap and the value skyrocketed like about 306% as of when I received the airdrop token yesterday
  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minereum/
A friend of mine is telling me that it's audio money, that I can't trade on it. Which I find it hard to believe. Your opinion is really needed in this situation

Seeing this topic in the sub-forum, what made me inclined to open it way to ask/know what audio money means but seems i already have my answer as tge context you used it for is self explanatory but to be honest, i don't think anybody should expect such a price surge from any guenuine project atleast not not in this bearish market condition. Reading through comments on this thread, i saw people saying you have to pay certain amount to be able to unlock the token, left to me i'd just move on as they'll end up scamming people
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance vs Coinbase Pro on: April 22, 2020, 06:47:20 PM
Hello. I am having a hard time understanding why anyone would use Coinbase Pro for trading compared to Binance. What am I missing?

Coinbase Pro's fees are 0.5% for transactions below $10k. Binance charges 0.1%, or 0.075% if you have BNB. So if you made a $5,000 trade you would pay a $25 fee on Coinbase Pro and a $3.75 fee on Binance. What am I missing here? Why would anyone trade on Coinebase over Binance? How can they be competitive charges such high fees? Thanks.

Left to me, i'd pick binance every day so far they kept on being the best exchange out there. Binance offers the best of the best features any cryptocurrency trader could ever imagined. The liquidity, volume authenticity and low trading fee of Binance is mind blowing
134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ignorance in trading on: April 22, 2020, 06:45:46 PM
Normally in Trading those who know do not speak, and those who speak do not know. This is extremely useful because it shows you all the things you need to avoid before reaching success. Any layman who looks at a graph concludes that trading has to be considerably easy, and that is part of the attraction. At the end of the day, anyone can look at a graph and clearly see entry and exit points. However, it is much harder to do it in real time. There is a tendency to want to buy at the lowest and never leave the trade even if it drops further. If that happens, a rookie will continue the trade with the hope that it will rise again, it is just an example of how the lack of education and discipline plunges most market operators.

This is the problem lots of new traders often face, they don't know cryptocurrency trading is beyond studying market graphs and that point is validated by how badly fprex traders perform when they try trading cryptos. The market is currently highly unpredictable and thats the reason behind the failure of TA draft out by even the so called expert.  Proper understanding of the market before venturing into it is the key to success in this space
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: My 14 year old son bought Bitcoin on: April 22, 2020, 06:42:31 PM
My 14 year old son bought Bitcoin with an itunes card and told me he has been claiming from faucets and earning Bitcoin. I feel like he's Satoshi's reincarnation lol he was born on april 6th and Satoshi on the 5th. He is mining Bitcoin, coding websites, and really interested in programming. Let me know what I should do...

I'm happy for you man,  seeing a kid takes a leap at such a young age can only be term a blessing, with his prowess I'm sure is doing great academic wise. I don't have a kid yet but i were to be in you shoes, i'd support him with all my capabilities. Just like everyone suggested, get him better gadgets that will aid him in learning and advancing and keep a close eyes on him
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which technology worked in crypto? on: April 20, 2020, 10:49:36 PM
I was scrolling the Icodrops website, I saw there were many ICO projects, and all of them had the world's first and revolutionary technology in the various sector! From medicine to soil, ads to robotics! What happened to them?

Due to the unregulated nature of the entire cryptocurrency market, no project is being hold accountable for whatever actions they embark on. Out of thousands of project, hardly you will see 10 that will truly develop the products they have on paper.  Thousands of project have either existed scam or bail out after raising huge amount of money from investors, amd others that do stay just do have their tokens listed on exchange for investor then abandon thier project development
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Make the Move on: April 20, 2020, 10:40:55 PM
Made a move yesterday after coming across few threads about coinomi wallet in wallets thread of this forum, missing funds, stolen recovery seeds, some said it's coinomi team, some blame SSL but I don't want this to happen to me, I finally switched to Trust wallet even though it's not fully open source, I hardly heard anything bad about the wallet.

Nice move you made there. for every reason, it is always better to act on rumors especially when it's related to scam so that you won't be a scapegoat. I stop using them for quite sometimes now due to the various scam accusations about them. Trust wallet is a good choice with the fact that it is backed by the most trusted exchange out there but i use Atomic wallet though due to it's all-in-one management solutions tool.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: April 20, 2020, 10:34:36 PM
Hi,
Sorry I am new to the Crypto world.
Trying to find out more details on the ERC20 Wallet Address and how Do I get one.
Is the ERC20 Wallet Address the same as the Etherium wallet address which I can get on coinbase.com?

Thanks

To be honest, since you're still new to the whole thing, i won't advice you to use coinbase wallet as not every erc20 token standard is supported by the exchange which if in any case you transfer a coin not supported, you might end up loosing that coin. And about wanting to know more on Erc20 token standard, a simple Google Search will help. I'll as well suggest atomic wallet for you. The wallet is the most complete one in the whole market as it consist lots of functionalities. Head on to Atomicwallet.io To download the wallet app for your any type of device you are using
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit: Why not bitcoin? on: April 16, 2020, 07:35:58 PM

Despite the fact it's possible to launch tokens on Bitcoin without having to worry about slow TX confirmation times, or even high fees, Ethereum is still the leading chain when it comes to dApps and ERC-20/ERC-721 tokens. This is largely because ETH has an established ecosystem and a wide array of developers working on it. The core ETH blockchain works well for smart contracts, while with Bitcoin you'd need to use a separate solution to get what you want.

I agree with you, the two coins both bitcoin and ethereum provided different life solutions and as such, each have it's own utility in as much as they can sometimes fit in to use instead of other. Bitcoin being the first decentralized digital currency has paved way for every cryptocurrency out there and as such, i believe it will remain the number one cryptocurrency likewise ethereum being the first project to develop smart contract and DApps infrastructure as well as flexible tokenization to enable people easily create Erc tokens. I think the flexibility of ethereum to provide smart contracts, Dapps and token generation infrastructure is the reason why reddit decided to use it's blockchain. I don't know why people are comparing the two coins when they ain't each others rival
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: April 16, 2020, 06:58:48 PM
Bounty Detective Community is a bounty group that is currently popular because many bounties managed by this group (maybe) their performance is better, so there are many projects that he wants to manage.

Do you think that this bounty group will continue to manage the campaign for the future? Yeah, I think so.

Some bounties that in my opinion are best managed by him.

HACKEN.AI
EARNBET
BASIC FINANCE
IOI
GAIMIN
HEX Distributed
CNBD

Currently there are still many bounties that are ongoing, which means that the management is the best.

The bounty detective management group is the boumty manager having the most active campaigns since late last year, i commend their managing style as they're
very professional and they do take out time to check each work done by hunters but one thing is, they don't give preference to signature campaign as most of their bounty programs do contain just social media and content creation. I believe this is their time and i hope they will be able to keep up with it as we've seen lots of BMs have their peak with lots of active campaigns in this forum but do end up having no campaign to manage, it is the order of nature.
