121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.2 on: December 22, 2016, 01:59:10 PM
Yesterday I moved my rigs to dwarfpool. For the last 24 hours I got at least 15% more ZEC than flypool. I don't trust in general the hashrate statistics, but in flypool it was always 10% less than the miner hashrate. Dwarf always shows 5% above the miner. Also the rejected shares in dwarf are 0.13%, whereas in flypool they were around 0.55%.

But what about bad luck finding blocks due to small pool hashrate ?
what also about coinmine.pl I guess I'm the only one still interested in that pool

Im on zec.suprnova.cc and getting all I should , as http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/zcash-mining-calculator says.

what mean
gpu0
return incorrect data

and after that windows restart

how I can fix that Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Remove all overclocking , only stock core, mem, bios.

Use low intensity option ( -i 2 or -i 3)

Hi all! So why do we need to use encryption ? Ane benefit from it ?

For past years miners never had a need for encryption and now SUDDENLY we need it.
It is of course pure coincidence this need happened after someone published a way to disable devfee. Right, Claymore?

It's not the reason that someone published a way to disable devfee, all these tricks were known before that. May be it's the reason for 10% devfee miner, but not for my 2% miner.
Yes SSL is definitely good for devfee protection, but you can bypass it anyway if it's so important for you and in fact after reducing devfee by 20% I expect to lose some money. It's not a problem for me, I like encryption as a feature anyway. I never said that you need SSL, you can use plain connection if you like it.
And I will not remove plain connection to force everyone to use SSL as some people think.

So its useless for end user. Why should i  protect dev fee ?

Hello dear friends!

Having such results on v.9 : R9 280x - 210-215 sols/s
                                       RX 470 - 200 sols/s

All stock mem,mV etc.

Is it good numbers or it could more ?

-r -1 working anybody? I dont want miner to take actions about card that hangs, but if it does, i get white opencl message and miner quits. Even if i turn that card off manually Angry

Use "-wd 0". Though you will see messages that there are problems anyway, but you must know about them so it's ok.

I will release new version within 24 hours.

I think the newest version is also provided before to some VIP guys, right ?

I never had any private versions. Noone has new version yet.

Well , its obvious that the more miners with v.9 the more dev fee . So its more prof. to give latest ver. to all the people ASAP

I was thinking I am on the Zcash miner thread, apparently I was wrong.  Huh

+1

Well just for the info. Writing down statistics. On 8 am poloniex balance was 77 USD (auto transfer from pool to exchange) , 1.5 Ksols/s and 8 hours later - 77 USD. Nice profit Sad

I demand explanation! Why Claymore devs want take out my computer? Is 2,5% too low??!! I do not want you to use my comp as a part of botnet!!

My rig have fresh system installed just for claymore, everything is blocked, even system itself, only claymore can connect to world, and found today that someone trying take over my rig, scan network and download files!! (i hope was unsucesfull, because everything is blocked or he clean log files) It is my first time using claymore and first time someone take my crig. It is not a coincidence, i am connected directly to large operator, i am behind nat, behing corp grade firewall, only claymore can connect from that vlan, so hacker could use only connection what was started from claymore, so claymore connected to hacker!!

This is just the letters on the screen . Any logs , screenshots, anything ?

P.S. using -mport option you letting control your rig not only "claymore" but anyone who nows your ISP IPaddress. If of course you config NAT correctly and use only system port (1-1024) for monitor\control your rig,  wich are not blocked by ISP(corp FW)  by default.

Network Hashrate increase = lower profit for miners???

Let's see if ZEC recovers but it's trending down.

Where did you get these graphs ?

Really thinking to switch to ETH

Check http://whattomine.com/ and you'll see you shouldn't switch, at least not yet

Well, thanx, checked , yes , ZEC is still more prof. then ETH . But where are those graphs from ? Its interesting to see it in past period.

the graphs are from a person over in the silent army thread.  he coded them for himself so he could keep track of profitability etc

Ok. thanks for the info.

Well  lm have to say something about dwarfpool, been mining ETH for along time there , and get all Ive calculated only from 1-3 days after.... So , decisions on less than 1 day mining dont tell enything.  I think when they got more hashing power we will get all we disurv

Yesterday tested undervolting on my Giga RX 470 Gaming G1 4Gb.

On stock (1230/1650):
Idle - 90 W/wall , Mining - 216-230 W/wall ( 75avg  W in GPU-Z).

Undervolted -90mW in AB stock clocks :
Indle - 90W/wall ( didnt measured , I gues it was same), Mining - 190-200 W/wall ( 52avg W in GPU-Z)

So its about 30 W less power usage . Anyone got same results ?

Hashrate was the same.
this is the whole system wattage right? no way a 470 uses 200watt
they are capped at around 150

Yes, 200watt at the wall was whole system consumption.
I suppose before underclock was about 140W card only consump. after - 110W ( mining mode of kz)
