121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 12, 2023, 08:18:23 PM
Galtier has been rumored to say stuff like "there shouldn't be this many blacks and arabs in the roster" in his previous job, and PSG started a questioning regarding this to see if he has done anything about this in their club as well. I feel like even if he didn't and even if this is just a rumor, I do not think that they would want to be associated with someone like that, and considering he got bad results, that would be terrible as well.

Like I always keep saying, they need Zidane, that dude is an amazing manager, and he is French, don't know if he ever played in PSG, guess not, but he is French and the best French player of his era as well, he should be managing the team and he got 3 UCL for Real Madrid, he can get one for PSG as well.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does loss of BTC affects total amount of BTC in total supply. on: April 12, 2023, 06:49:16 PM
I have read few posts of persons talking about losing their wallet's containing BTC and couldn't recover it at all. Hence, as people keep losing their BTC due to loss of wallet seed phrase, can it affect or cause a decline in BTC supply entirely?
The supply stands still because they are still there, and maybe one day someone will figure out a way to hack into all these dead and lost coins in the distant future when tech is higher, because that should be done but at the moment it does impact the price.

Well, since they can't be touched, they can't be sold neither, and since they can't be sold there are still buyers and coins are still bought and yet those coins are forever gone and can't be sold. That's why the price goes up a bit, or at least it benefits the price going up in the future whenever something like this happens. Plenty of people are worried that something else would happen but the reality is that the price is the only thing that changes.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The importance of operating completely anonymous on: April 12, 2023, 06:12:23 PM
For your basic needs a privacy browser like brave or firefox with privacy addon + a firewall and a VPN should be enough. You can go a step further and use TOR, but this is going to make things much slower due to redirecting.

You can take another step and use Linux, then you can take another step and keep all the important files on an external drive that you unplug when it's not being used. This greatly increases security as the hacker will not be able to download your stuff. They will never know when you decide to plug the safe drive, which makes it very difficult for them.

Another step would be to have an internal server and connect through it with important files being on another server that is in a local network, each with its own firewall, so that hackers don't know which computer is which and spend additional time attacking a client PC that can get disconnected from the network at any moment.
I would guess that none of that is really a "must" if you are a regular person. I mean even paying taxes is a must if you want to have a normal life, avoiding that could be a lot more possible and can be easily done but why would you do that, why would you want to put yourself at risk.

Imagine spending years trading and maybe even profiting and one day government figures you out and now you have to pay ten times more than what you can afford, how would that be? That is why I believe that we shouldn't really have any issues like this, it should be a lot better in order to continue living a normal life. Just ignore all the anonymous actions and be out in the public, and you should be having zero issues about it.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 12, 2023, 08:24:34 AM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.
Lossing ain't fun though, and yes there is a strategy in gambling, but still it also requires luck.
Do you think analysing and researching about a specific match in sports gambling prior to the game isn't called a strategy? If you don't do that, you might end up betting on a wrong side.
Do you think a simple "poker face" in a game of poker isn't a strategy? You'll probably get exposed if you keep showing your demeanor and facial reactions every time you had a bad and good cards.
By doing these kind of simple strategy will give you lesser risk of lossing.
Depends on who you are asking. I feel like losing is "fun" in certain situations. I am not saying that I have fun just by doing regular dice with boring results and just straight up losing my hand. But for example, being in a tournament for a poker reward and then losing as 6th in the tournament of 1000, could be very fun, you still lost and maybe not even got anything because the first three got rewards and 6th got nothing, but you may still have fun there.

So it depends on how you lost, was it something boring that you did and lost, or was it something entertaining and you lost anyway, they are very different two things. Make sure that you participate in things that are fun, that way you could make a lot more profit in the end.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 11, 2023, 08:50:51 PM
I never said that Lewandowski and Messi could end up having any problems with each other. On the contrary, I think Lewandowski knows about Messi's excellent skills to provide assists and every offender can only dream of playing with Messi as he developed into a real team player who is not so much after scoring himself anymore. He could be a real improvement for Barcelona's game as he adds the surprise effect because he still has the speed and the precision to create game situations like nobody else and also nobody can anticipate.

The jersey sales are one option and perhaps Barcelona sponsors would also help finance such a deal, but there will be financial limits even with sponsors involved. But maybe Messi already thinks about the time after his career and wants to make a step towards Barcelona now. But will he really forego the opportunity to make a couple of hundred of millions going abroad?
There is no doubt if we have Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi in Barcelona for the next season this could be deadly combo even I can say here this could be more lethal from Mbappé, Neymar and Messi in PSG because both players have amazing body language and things could be at his peak but this all need FFP approval which is surely not easy for Barcelona because they are already under huge debut and if they want to bring him back then surely need to offload few other players as well because their current salaries budget is already under problems which needs quick settlement these all issues are going against this combo.

But, if somehow Barcelona able to have them in their team at same time then we can expect amazing work and games against top team in La Liga and Champions League as well as hype is going nothing is clear because no one can predict where Messi is going to land for the next season and FFP problem allow Barcelona to have this player back into team.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 05:38:54 PM
People are more focused on the high profile game between Manchester City and Bayern Munich but I think the most unpredictable fixture will be the Benfica vs Inter Milan Match.
Benfica has been on an incredible form lately, although they lost their last match to Porto over the weekend. Before the Porto game they have won the previous six games they have player. That's a lot of consistency. Lets also not forget that Benfica is at the top of the Portuguese league with seven points ahead of Porto.

Milan on the other hand have been the opposite of Benfica in recent time. Inter Milan have not won a single game in their last six matches, that is really poor for a team like Inter. Because of their poor performance recently, they keep slipping down on the Italian league table. At a point they were 2nd position on the table, now they are 5th and not sure if they will be playing ucl football next season.

I'm going with Benfica to win in this fixture. The worst that Benfica can get out of this is a draw, which won't be a good result for them because they are playing on home soil.
That is a game that will be boring for one simple reason; people know that whoever wins that game, will end up losing later on. We could see Bayern or City to be the champions, we could see Real becoming champions, we could even maybe see Napoli be the champions which I think will not happen but even that has a bigger chance considering the path they have, I feel like Napoli will have one hard game, they should be winning against Milan and whoever wins the Benfica vs Inter game, not saying they will but they should.

However, when we are talking about Benfica or Inter, do you see one of them becoming champions this year? That just doesn't feel like it is going to happen and we are going to end up with a team who will just lose some other time.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 11, 2023, 03:52:30 PM
I think most of well known casino now hired someone to develop this kind of system that will help them not to be easily hacked by someone using AI, or will cheat the entire game using AI. AI can beat another AI, and also it still needs a maintenance and maybe frequent upgrades for bugs and additional security and features that may help a casino. But we need to be informed that it will not create 100% predictions.
Not being hacked, and not being abused are different things. They can prevent AI to hack into the system by building a great system and that way you won't be able to hack into them.

However, it would be quite difficult to build something that would not be abused by AI, there is a chance that AI could end up gambling much better than people, still lose in the end of course because as long as house edge stands, there is mathematically no way you can keep gambling and make money, but that doesn't mean that you can't get extras. So that means if you gamble a lot, casinos give you something for wagering that much, and if you gamble smart, then you won't lose much and make a profit from that extra bonus you get from the casino.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: April 11, 2023, 09:58:23 AM
Trust and proof of safety are not attached to new casinos even though the casinos say on various influencer site reviews to put forward the word trusted casino site and security priority, but both stick to the reviews from the community of gamblers who have experienced the top casinos. You are right, gamblers don't care about attractive features in casinos but prioritize trust, security and fair play in old casinos.
Indeed, trust and security are the most important things, that is what we as gamblers are looking for to find comfort when playing. I am not uninterested in the attractive features offered by gambling platforms, but what is the use if they are not enough to make us believe that they are truly trusted and safe. I'm not going to take that big of a risk to just enjoy the features they offer, while I still question their trust and security.
Also when a casino already has trust, then we will not ignore the negative things that are directed at the casino.
Having trust means that you would feel fine gambling there without a worry, but feeling like you want to gamble there requires marketing. Otherwise you would never hear about that casino at all. You can build the greatest casino ever lived, and not tell anyone, how would they ever find you out and how would they make you any money? That means you gotta have a marketing method and that would be the key here, having some sort of marketing.

At the end of the day, we are talking about a situation where it will take a while but we all would have a good project in our hands that is known and then you can build it to be trusted, that comes after because if there is nobody, then there is no trust.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: April 11, 2023, 06:59:03 AM
Happy Easter everyone
Today I gave out $20 to 5 random high school students each in a WhatsApp group after of course enlightening them about Bitcoin and conducting a quiz for them I did this in hopes of trying to assist in developing the Bitcoin ecosystem although it's of small impact
I sent the Bitcoin to Thier noncustodial wallet and also enlightened them on how to manage Thier wallet
What do you think!?
Faucet was the main thing that promoted bitcoin back in the day. There were tons of bitcoin faucets and they were giving out free bitcoin to people, still there are a few, but doesn't give out much to be fair. That way we would have people who would get bitcoin for free, at the very early start it was as high as 5! bitcoins, and yeah that sounds like insane idea right now but at the time bitcoin was worth just a few cents at best, and that is why 5 bitcoin was nothing, this is the time when people bought pizza with 10k bitcoins basically.

Dropped in bitcoin value but still giving out few cents even today, and that is a similar idea to this, just giving out to make sure bitcoin spreads all around the world.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping Dealers on: April 10, 2023, 05:32:21 PM
It can often come down to whether you're winning or not. If you're leaking chips due to bad or unfortunate play, then you're probably less inclined to share your shortening bank roll with the dealer as you try to eek it back. However when I've played live casinos in the past, it's often been customary when you take down a big pot - in poker for example - to share some of your reward with the dealer. You generally just take on what is happening in the surroundings and will get a feel for the table dynamic after a few rounds. It can also vary between country, for example in most of Europe dealers are getting paid a reasonable minimum wage and will be very happy, but not expect tips as a bonus for their work.
If you are losing but enjoying the game because the dealer is entertaining then maybe you can set aside some money for him. If only you win, the money that you can give can be bigger but there is always next time. I already experience to tip the dealer on one live game that I play but those are only tiny amounts because I am only testing their tipping feature and not because I enjoy the dealer but their dealer are girls.

I guess the casino intend it as we know that there are guys who like to see girls and can give money easily and maybe the casino will get some share with it. Dealers must not expect anything from the gamblers so that they will not be disappointed and this can affect their performances. They should only do their work properly because at the end of the day, they are still being paid by the casino.
131  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 09, 2023, 09:03:03 PM
I saw the super rain yesterday from  diamond player maybe the biggest rain I have ever seen, are you guys one of them?  Cheesy
Surely I am not one of them but hoping for the next it is my turn  Grin By the way, if you are Stake.us user you can claim this code easyclaim123
This is a special code that was shared when Eddie live a few hours ago.

Oh wow, seems like it's worth it to hang out in the chat, haha. I always have it closed and if it's open then I mostly only check the German chat room.

I have read of several high level diamond players doing this but in whatever room I have never been so lucky to catch some of those crazy rains.

Biggest I ever got was maybe 5$, I mean it's better than nothing and still free cash but if you see these crazy things happening you start dreaming of course.  Grin
Jesus christ, 5k per person rain? That seems like the biggest I have seen in a long long time, maybe ever. I should definitely keep the chat open when I am gambling as well, I haven't been checking the chat for too long and it feels like I am actually missing something by the looks of it.

I mean obviously we are not going to see something like this all the time, we are going to end up seeing something much smaller most of the time, but considering 50+ bucks must be a lot more common than I think, I will keep checking it. I just assumed what Stake offers to gamblers was enough and didn't consider regular gamblers would give this much money to random strangers, it is just too much money to be spreading around, that's a good deed right there.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of failure and success can help us control the emotions. on: April 09, 2023, 07:18:24 PM
Failure and success remind me of the Chinese yin yang concept. The concept of yin yang is used to explain the interdependence and complementarity of opposing forces in nature and the universe, and to illustrate the importance of balance and harmony in achieving overall well-being. In trading like the op said it helps to create harmony of our emotions and to have a clear head when trading.
Nothing can go as smoothly as expected, that means that each of us must experience ups and downs. Even a businessman will not be as successful as he seems without ever failing or at least losing money financially, that also applies to traders and investors because they both involve money. The successful are those who keep trying after failing, those who get up after falling until they finally find balance.
That is why mistakes or losses are the best teachers in the world; you will learn valuable lessons from them, and now is the time if you can still stand up and recover from those things. That is why we should treat it more as an opportunity than a failure, because we can gain something if we create an opportunity on it rather than being sad and not reflecting on it.
As long as people keep on looking for others to help them out, they will not learn a thing. But if they try to learn to fly themselves, they can figure out what's wrong and they may end up making a much bigger profit from it as well.

Not many people approach it that way, and that's a sad reality of the world we are living in right now, they just think that since we are in a social media world, they can reach out or find someone who could help them get rich, that's why this new tech world made it easier for us to get rich. That's not true, and they are wrong, which usually ends up with them either getting scammed or losing money. I hope that it gets better in the future but that shouldn't really be a big problem for us if we are careful.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: April 08, 2023, 08:55:40 PM
I totally see where you're coming from, folks. Those two critical losses must have been a colossal letdown for Al-Nassr supporters, and the anticipation for Ronaldo was, like, sky-high. But we've gotta keep in mind that football's an intricate game, and a whole bunch of factors come into play when it's about a team's triumph or defeat.

One aspect Al-Nassr could really hone in on is their tactics, their strategy, you know? They've gotta scrutinize their rivals like hawks, whip up a game plan that amplifies their strengths and zeroes in on their foes' frailties. They also need to amp up that team chatter and synergy, making sure everyone's singing the same tune, striving for the same dreams.

And, of course, there's always space for growth when it comes to individual player prowess. Ronaldo may not be the titan he once was, but he's still a precious gem on the team. By leveraging their strengths, collaborating as a unit, and perpetually honing their abilities, Al-Nassr can still seize greatness this season!
Well, they do have a manager that is not world class and a team that is not a world class level. Sure they spent a lot of money on Ronaldo, but if I were the owner I would have just hired a much better manager for a lot of money, and also get like 3-4 other players that are good, when you combine all that it still doesn't cost as much as Ronaldo, and the team would be much better.

Imagine getting someone like Mourinho for 20 million a year, and then hiring some great players for 10-15 even 20 million a year, that means the total would be 240 million a year, and I mean 20 million a year salary on all of the roster plus the manager, that's a little bit more than Ronaldo, if you make it 10? That's nearly half as cheap as just one Ronaldo.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 08, 2023, 08:08:39 PM
Qatar hosted world cup and they started from scratch building stadiums setting up everything and after World cup they dismantled some of them and made sports centres to remaining.  Qatar is country who's not developed in terms of football I'm comparison to America Europe who have a developed system . In fifa 2026 many stadiums are already build so they don't have to start from scratch .
I feel like even the surroundings will not need too many things. Sure there could be some revamp on design of some of the hotels and such but that would be mainly regarding decorative stuff and not the whole buildings, whereas Qatar had all of that made, from hospitals to even schools and many other things, and of course roads and infrastructure which costs a lot to build.

Stadiums weren't the biggest cost, that was less than 10% of the entire cost, it was bringing all those people together, building hotels, building roads, revamping the airport and many other things that combine together made it so costly. ALL of that is available in these three nations and they will not have to build anything from scratch to make it happen.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: April 07, 2023, 07:49:28 PM
I think you are a little off the track in perceiving demo account purpose. A demo account is not made for wild trading where you already know back of your mind that you can trade any amount that you want and even if you lose it, nothing is gonna happen to you mentally. A trading demo account should be used to learn technical analysis. You should start plotting the graphs, doing technical analysis, and having your strategies in place. This can help you understand whether you are predicting the trading pattern future perfectly or not. It doesn't mean you should put any amount in the trading demo account. You should just put what you would afford in real trading and learn like real scenario.

This can help you a lot in real zone.
Yeah, this is something most people forget about and use demo account like it's nothing important. They trade whatever they feel like trading and try to see if their gut feeling could make them rich, and then if they somehow manage to do that, then they go into real trading thinking they could do the same again. As we all know that's not the purpose of it and we should be avoiding that as much as possible.

I believe that it is important to know the difference between TA and wild trading, if you do TA and draw on the chart, literally use something like tradingview to figure out what to buy and when to buy it, then check it on demo account. That is what you should be using it for.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 07, 2023, 06:44:02 PM
Trading with your own analysis is so much acceptable when it comes to losing a trade because at least it is your own judgement, unlike when using someone else's technical analysis which is much kind of regrettable. Trading is all about prediction and luck, in my opinion, technical analysis increases the chances of predicting what's gonna happen next, depending on your knowledge about the market.
I agree that facing your own actions consequences is the best thing to learn how to trade. If you listen to someone else and lose money, then the only thing you would learn is not to listen to them if you are smart, maybe even keep trading based on what they say if you want to give more chances to them.

All of this would not grow you as a trader and would just make you weaker and you would continue to lose more and more money. Whereas if you are smart and you know what you are doing, then you would trade yourself and even if you lose money then you would end up with something much better, which is the fact that you would learn from mistakes and be better.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 07, 2023, 05:46:41 PM
I'm waiting for the Liverpool vs Arsenal game. I think if Arsenal are able to win they will be champions this season. Arsenal come in with a good record, seven games without defeat. As for Liverpol, they are still fighting for a win after three games without a win. But of course Anfield is not a friendly place for guests. Maybe Arsenal can find it difficult to win. Liverpool  kept some core players when they went to Chelsea and ended draw. Maybe Klopp prepares for tomorrow's game.
I agree that it's going to be something usual for us to see and we shouldn't really be worried about it at all. It's normal for Arsenal to win the title considering they have been playing amazing all season and them beating Liverpool shouldn't be that hard neither.

I understand Liverpool could be a very difficult team, and up until this year Liverpool would be the favorites to win this matchup, but as we have seen them this year, aside from that one game against United, Liverpool hasn't been that good and I doubt that they would be here neither. It's best to hold your bets for this one if you are unsure about it, but I do give the benefit of the doubt to Arsenal and they should be getting the title as well.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 06, 2023, 08:28:05 PM
~snip~
I think you are overestimating the fact that AI can somehow manage to figure out the random. Random is random and that can't be figured out, there is no way, and if you are a casino then you can use AI for your benefit, but if you are a gambler there is no way that you can use it for your benefit at all, it would not be working properly at all.

I hope that people would be doing something that could benefit them in the long run with AI, like even medical stuff which could be pretty good, but obviously there is a big question mark of should it even be responsible for it. But the help would always be welcomed but when it comes to gambling? I do not think so.
Well, it all depends on what you are measuring, and the data available.

For example, if you throw a dice there's one out of six chances that a number 6 appears. That's because you don't know anything about the dice, but in reality the more you know, the closer and better probabilities you can calculate. Maybe that particular dice is loaded, and maybe you know how it's being thrown, the environment, etc, the more you know, the better prediction you can get, and maybe you know that in that particular case the chances of getting a 6 are more like 50% instead of 1 out of 6.

So, random is completely random when you don't know any better, but if you do know more information you can definitely reduce the noise and get a better estimate.
That is a wishful thinking and nothing more. If you roll a dice, you get six one out of six times on average, and that's the only thing that matters, rest are wishful data and not real data, they are not valid logical hard concrete data. The "wind" or whatever, is not going to get calculated. I know it is just an example, but when you look at sports for example, from the morale to the weather, to having a fight with gf before the game, all of that is a big deal and that's what matters.

AI won't know about that, there is no world AI can calculate "all" the data, and that is why we won't know who will win a game before it happens, we can know "probably" who will win, but we already know that, it's called odds.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 06, 2023, 05:33:10 PM
it is undeniable that the Lazio vs Juventus match will be very fierce because in terms of quality these two teams are not much different and speaking of motivation to win the match I think both of them have the same motivation to be able to finish in the top 4 of the standings and get a ticket to the Champions League next season, Juventus still have a chance to get that and I think because of that it makes Juventus' motivation even bigger.

but if we look at the problem of these two teams, they are unable to maintain consistency so that in the match of these two teams I think everything is still possible to happen and both of them still have the same chance to win the match, this will be very difficult to predict.
If you ask me, the quality difference is there to me. Juventus is a better team, just because they got 15 point penalty, doesn't mean that they are as bad as they look, if you put that 15 points on top of their current points, they would have been, 59 points, and Lazio is 55, it may look like just 4 points but Juventus had a hiccup during those punishment period and they would have gotten some more points, and they would be second in the league.

This doesn't mean that Lazio is bad or anything like that, of course they are great, but to be fair I think Juventus is clearly better and they will get this game, there is a bigger chance of them winning than losing.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: The beginning of the end for centralized AI? on: April 06, 2023, 04:10:40 PM
I heard rumors about banning the use of ChatGPT, but it's really not clear. But if this happens, it will certainly have a significant impact on decentralized AI projects. ChatGPT and OpenAI are famous and globally influential AI projects, being banned in one country can become a premise for other countries to start banning them as well. This may affect the feasibility of decentralized AI projects and may lead to difficulty in developing these projects globally. If decentralized AI projects are banned or run into difficulties, there will certainly be outcry and protests from the scientific and engineering communities. However, raising these objections may not be enough to prevent bans on AI projects. It is important to find ways to address privacy and security issues openly and collaboratively, to ensure the sustainable development of AI and related technologies.
I think the reason for most of them is that you can selectively give the data you want. Meaning that if you give it a good data for one political candidate and bad data for another, you can change even some of the discussions as well. I am not saying that's going to happen, or that's the reason, but the data fed into the AI is the main reason, because that makes it centralized and that's the issue.

I personally believe that we could potentially have a proper one in the future, but a decentralized one would be filled with hitler and whatever jokes or doge and memes, which would make it terrible as well, so you gotta do a centralized one without any political or any other type of leaning.
